Separation and Arrival

Previous Chapter

Tsuna opened his eyes to very colorful surroundings. In fact, literally all his surroundings were was color.

"W-Where are we?"he asked in shock.

"Relax, herbivore. We haven't arrived yet." Hibari said in his usual angry tone of voice.

"Tenth! You're awake!" Gokudera yelled.

"Yeah, but my head hurts a little." he responded.

"Shake it off like a man, Sawada! To the extreme!"

Lambo moaned.

"Lambo-san is hungry..."

"Boss?" Chrome said.

Tsuna looked at her.

"Yeah, Chrome?"

"I-I see a light."

Tsuna looked forward to see that there was, in fact, a light up ahead.

"That must be the exit!" Yamamoto said.

"Finally," Hibari said. "I can get out of here."

"Not if some random thing happens to separate us or something." Gokudera said.

"That sounds like my cue! Author powers, activate!"

Celestia was watching the seven guardians as they passed through the portal.

Reborn walked into the throne room.

"How are they, Tia?" he asked.

"They're fine, Reborn. They're almost out of the portal. I just need to use a little more magic."

As she said that, a letter appeared in front of her, causing her to lose focus, along with control over the spell.

Reborn noticed this, and stepped in.

"Tia! The spell!"

"I'm trying!"

Try as she might, Celestia could not regain control of the spell.

"What's that rumbling?" Tsuna asked.

Just as he asked that very question, multiple paths formed in the main path.

"T-This isn't supposed to happen, is it?" Yamamoto asked.

"I don't think so." Gokudera replied.

It was then that they realized that they were each being forcibly drawn into each of the different paths.

"Definitely not supposed to happen! To the extreme!" Ryohei yelled.

Everything went white, then dark.

Tsuna slowly opened his eyes to be greeted by a very familiar voice.

"About time you woke up, stupid Tsuna."

"Reborn?"

It didn't take long for Tsuna to realize that he was in a cottage.

He then remembered something else.

"Reborn! Where are the others?"

Reborn hit Tsuna on the head to calm him down.

"Relax. They're safe. Probably."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"What it means is that Princess Celestia, current lone ruler of Equestria, lost control of the spell that created the portal here, sending you and your guardians scattered throughout the land."

"WHAT!?" he yelled in shock.

Reborn kicked him in the face.

"Ow..."

"Listen up, stupid Tsuna. Nightmare Moon is scheduled to return in about five to seven hours, and as much as I hate to say it, you're probably going to have to fight her yourself."

"Eh?"

It took a bit for Reborn's words to sink in, but once they did, Tsuna's reaction went as follows:

"WHAT!? Are you crazy, Reborn!? How am I supposed to beat someone who can bring eternal night?"

Reborn frowned, but what happened next caught Tsuna completely off guard.

Reborn smiled and gave a small chuckle.

"Really, Tsuna? You're complaining about this, when you've fought against opponents that could do much worse?"

Tsuna remembered all his past fights.

"Mukuro, Xanxus, Byakuran, you've beaten them all."

Tsuna looked down at his ring of the sky and smiled.

"You're right, Reborn. I've taken down stronger opponents than this! I can take on Nightmare Moon!"

Tsuna then realized something.

"Where are we, anyway? It looks like somebody's house."

"Somepony's house, actually."

"Eh?"

"Yeah, I forgot to mention that the dominant species here mostly consists of small, talking, multicolored equines."

"EH!?"

"The pony that lives here is named Fluttershy. She's off doing some important stuff for the Summer Sun Celebration. Which, by the way, is when Nightmare Moon will be released."

"But why am I in her house?"

"She found you unconscious on the ground after you fell out of the portal. You were lucky to have landed at the original destination, and near the house of the nicest pony in town."

Tsuna looked upwards towards the sky, worried about where his guardians might have ended up.

---Line---

Ryohei was standing just outside of a town called Appleooza.

"Wow. You weren't kidding when you said they were all ponies!"

"That's right." Celestia's voice spoke up.

"How are you in my head, anyway?"

"I told you already, I am using telepathy."

"So, mind talking!?"

Celestia sighed.

"Yes. Now, I'm sure that if you just ask nicely, they will give you a ride to the train that leads to Ponyville, where Tsuna is."

"Nah! I'll just jog!"

"Y-You're kidding! It's at least five hundred, maybe a thousand miles away!"

"Really!?" That sounds like an extreme jog!"

Celestia was shocked.

"Go ahead, I guess." she then thought to herself, 'Reborn, we're down a guardian.'

---Line---

Lambo was walking through the empty field he had landed in.

He fell down.

Lambo-san is lost..." he said, finally admitting defeat.

"Do not fret, Lambo, I am here to guide you to Tsuna."

"AH! A GHOST!"

"I'm not a ghost."

"Then why can't Lambo-san see you?"

"Well, I'm back at my castle, but I'm talking to you with my mind."

"Do you know where that No-Good Tsuna is?"

"Yes, I do. Just keep walking in the opposite direction you've been walking in."

Lambo looked behind himself, nodded, and walked the other way.

---Line---

Gokudera was walking around a city, looking for Tsuna.

"Tenth? Where are you?"

He sat down, trying his hardest not to give up hope.

"Storm guardian Gokudera Hayato, I presume?"

Gokudera looked around, confused.

"Yeah? Who's asking?"

"Princess Celestia. I brought you here."

Gokudera smiled.

"So, if you brought us here, you can take me straight to the tenth, right?"

"Sadly, no. But there is a train station north of..."

"I'm coming, tenth!"

He had ran off before she could finish her sentence.

Celestia smiled to herself at Gokudera's enthusiasm.

---Line---

Yamamoto had landed in Manehattan.

"Where am I?"

He picked up the bag that carried his sword, and started to walk around, observing the buildings and whatnot.

"They do have some big buildings here, that's for sure."

"Well, of course. This is Manehattan, after all."

Yamamoto looked everywhere.

"Okay, this is getting kind of weird."

Celestia chuckled.

"Sorry for separating you."

"You sent us here?"

"Why, yes, I did. It used up a lot of energy, however."

Yamamoto laughed.

"Well, I take it you can't just send me straight back to Tsuna."

"That is correct. However, there is a train station that leads to Ponyville to your left."

Yamamoto looked to the left, and, sure enough, there was a train station.

"Okay, thanks!"

He ran off towards the train station.

---Line---

Chrome had landed near a random bush in the middle of nowhere.

"Boss?"

She looked around, but found nothing and nobody.

"You aren't going to find anypony like that."

The sudden new voice caused Chrome to jump.

"W-Who's there?"

"I assure you, I am no enemy. But I am going to help you get back to Tsuna."

Chrome tilted her head.

"How?"

"It's easy, just keep walking south."

She was skeptical at first, but eventually just decided to do as she was told and head south.

---Line---

Hibari was in the middle of a dark forest.

"Herbivores." he said as he glanced back at a couple manticores he had defeated.

"Well done, Hibari Kyoya. I see why you are a guardian."

Hibari raised his tonfas at the sound of the new voice.

"I am not an enemy, but I must ask you to go and join up with Tsuna."

"Why would I want to join up with that herbivore? Anyway, I hate crowds."

"That maybe so, but joining with him is the only way you'll get back to Namimori."

Hibari paused for several moments before responding.

"Fine."

And with that, he walked off before Celestia could give him directions.

'Tsuna's guardians sure are an odd bunch, aren't they?' she thought to herself before returning to her duties.
