//-------------------------------------------------------// The Vongola of Equestria -by sharpstrike- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Equestria's Trouble //-------------------------------------------------------// Equestria's Trouble Celestia looked up at the sky, seeing how the stars were slowly closing in on the moon. The moon she was forced to banish her dear younger sister to. "Luna," she said. "why did you have to oppose me, force me to banish you." "Tia, you seem stressed." came a voice. The new voice startled Celestia, causing her to jump slightly. She turned to the source of the voice, and was greeted by a human baby. This particular baby, however, wore a black suit and fedora, with a chameleon on the fedora. He also had curly sideburns. As soon as she realized who it was, she quickly regained her composure. "Ah, Reborn. What brings you here?" "You seemed very troubled the last few times I visited you, so I decided to visit you again and find out what's wrong." "It's my sister." she said bluntly. "The one you had to banish to the moon for one thousand years?" Celestia nodded. Reborn frowned. "This is a problem. But if the elements sealed her away once, why not do it again?" Celestia shook her head glumly. "I'm afraid that may not work this time" Reborn raised an eyebrow. "Even from here, I can sense that my sister, no, Nightmare Moon is getting more powerful even as we speak. The elements alone may not be able to stop her." At this point, Reborn's eyes were shaded by the shadow of his fedora. "I also intend to do something much more complicated then to simply banish her" Reborn nodded. "And what would that be, Tia?" Celestia smiled. "I intend to purify her." Reborn frowned at this. "Are you sure that will work? She may already be too far gone." Celestia nodded. "I firmly believe that the elements may be able to purify her. However, there is a complication." Reborn sat down as he motioned for Celestia to continue. "The Elements of Harmony have moved on and do not accept me as their rightful bearer anymore. I know that the element of magic has chosen my student, Twilight Sparkle, as it's bearer, but I have no idea who the rest of the elements have chosen. And even if the new bearers of the Elements of Harmony somehow meet up, there is no guarantee that they will be able to defeat Nightmare Moon themselves." Reborn smiled, eyes shaded by the shadow of his hat. "If your elements alone may not work, we'll just have to send my elements for extra assurance, now won't we?" Celestia looked confused. "What do you--" It was then that realization struck her like a lightning bolt. "Yes, I mean them." "T-The Vongola guardians? The ones you told me stories about?" Reborn nodded. "Mother of me, if they are truly as strong as you said they were, we might have a chance against Nightmare Moon!" Reborn smiled at Celestia's new found hope. "The guardian of sky, Tsunayoshi Sawada. The guardian of sun, Sasagawa Ryohei. The guadian of lightning, Lambo. The guardian of storm, Gokudera Hayato. The guardian of rain, Yamamoto Takeshi. The guardian of mist, Chrome Dokuro and Rokudo Mukuro. And the guardian of cloud, Hibari Kyoya." Celestia nodded. "But are you sure that they are strong enough to at least weaken Nightmare Moon to the point that the Elements of Harmony will work on her?" Reborn poured some coffee into a small mug and took a sip. "Of course. They were trained by the best, after all. Hell, they could each probably take her down alone." He put a little thought into what he said. "Well, almost all of them." Celestia was elated to hear this. "All of them, however, may not come willingly." "Then use your special 'convincing' techniques." Reborn took another sip of his coffee. "I intended to if they refused in the first place." Celestia chuckled at her friend's words. "Then why not go recruit them and bring them here as soon as possible?" Reborn took a sip of his coffee and stood up. "I think you're right." he said, walking away. ---Line--- Tsuna walked to the courtyard of Namimori Middle School to see his other guardians, just as Reborn had told him to. As he approached, he saw that they were all acting as they always did. Gokudera held Lambo in his hands, violently shaking him back and forth, Hibari was standing away from the group, Ryohei was doing push ups, Chrome was standing there quietly, clutching her trident, and Yamamoto was laughing while trying to get Gokudera to calm down. Gokudera glanced over to see Tsuna and ran over to him, dropping Lambo on his face. "Tenth!" The rest, except for Hibari, ran over to him. "Oi, Tsuna! You came! I was getting a little worried." Yamamoto said, his usual smile on his face. "Gokudera-kun! Yamamoto!" Just then, Reborn hopped out from seemingly nowhere and landed on Tsuna's head. "Reborn!" "Stupid Tsuna! You're late!" He kicked Tsuna in the face, causing him to fall down. "OW! What was that for?" "You can't afford to be late for a meeting this important, stupid Tsuna." Gokudera rushed over to help Tsuna up. "What's so important that you had to gather all of us here, baby?" Everybody except for Reborn jumped, not realizing Hibari had walked over. Reborn smiled. "You're going to save another world." he stated bluntly. "WHAT!?" they all yelled in unison. Reborn continued his explanation. "It's called Equestria. And in it, an ancient evil is about to awaken and put it into a state of eternal night." Tsuna spoke up. "Isn't there someone else who can do it?" Reborn kicked him in the face once more. "No!" Tsuna got up, rubbing his sore cheek. "I-I guess I accept?"he said with hesitation. "Good." A portal opened. "Off you go!" As he said that, Reborn kicked Tsuna into the portal. "Tenth!" Gokudera yelled as he jumped in after him. Reborn forcibly threw Lambo in, while the rest simply walked in, Hibari having an angry scowl on his face. The portal closed. "Good luck... Tsuna."Reborn said, smiling. //-------------------------------------------------------// Separation and Arrival //-------------------------------------------------------// Separation and Arrival Tsuna opened his eyes to very colorful surroundings. In fact, literally all his surroundings were was color. "W-Where are we?"he asked in shock. "Relax, herbivore. We haven't arrived yet." Hibari said in his usual angry tone of voice. "Tenth! You're awake!" Gokudera yelled. "Yeah, but my head hurts a little." he responded. "Shake it off like a man, Sawada! To the extreme!" Lambo moaned. "Lambo-san is hungry..." "Boss?" Chrome said. Tsuna looked at her. "Yeah, Chrome?" "I-I see a light." Tsuna looked forward to see that there was, in fact, a light up ahead. "That must be the exit!" Yamamoto said. "Finally," Hibari said. "I can get out of here." "Not if some random thing happens to separate us or something." Gokudera said. "That sounds like my cue! Author powers, activate!" ---Line--- Celestia was watching the seven guardians as they passed through the portal. Reborn walked into the throne room. "How are they, Tia?" he asked. "They're fine, Reborn. They're almost out of the portal. I just need to use a little more magic." As she said that, a letter appeared in front of her, causing her to lose focus, along with control over the spell. Reborn noticed this, and stepped in. "Tia! The spell!" "I'm trying!" Try as she might, Celestia could not regain control of the spell. "What's that rumbling?" Tsuna asked. Just as he asked that very question, multiple paths formed in the main path. "T-This isn't supposed to happen, is it?" Yamamoto asked. "I don't think so." Gokudera replied. It was then that they realized that they were each being forcibly drawn into each of the different paths. "Definitely not supposed to happen! To the extreme!" Ryohei yelled. Everything went white, then dark. ---Line--- Tsuna slowly opened his eyes to be greeted by a very familiar voice. "About time you woke up, stupid Tsuna." "Reborn?" It didn't take long for Tsuna to realize that he was in a cottage. He then remembered something else. "Reborn! Where are the others?" Reborn hit Tsuna on the head to calm him down. "Relax. They're safe. Probably." "What's that supposed to mean?" "What it means is that Princess Celestia, current lone ruler of Equestria, lost control of the spell that created the portal here, sending you and your guardians scattered throughout the land." "WHAT!?" he yelled in shock. Reborn kicked him in the face. "Ow..." "Listen up, stupid Tsuna. Nightmare Moon is scheduled to return in about five to seven hours, and as much as I hate to say it, you're probably going to have to fight her yourself." "Eh?" It took a bit for Reborn's words to sink in, but once they did, Tsuna's reaction went as follows: "WHAT!? Are you crazy, Reborn!? How am I supposed to beat someone who can bring eternal night?" Reborn frowned, but what happened next caught Tsuna completely off guard. Reborn smiled and gave a small chuckle. "Really, Tsuna? You're complaining about this, when you've fought against opponents that could do much worse?" Tsuna remembered all his past fights. "Mukuro, Xanxus, Byakuran, you've beaten them all." Tsuna looked down at his ring of the sky and smiled. "You're right, Reborn. I've taken down stronger opponents than this! I can take on Nightmare Moon!" Tsuna then realized something. "Where are we, anyway? It looks like somebody's house." "Somepony's house, actually." "Eh?" "Yeah, I forgot to mention that the dominant species here mostly consists of small, talking, multicolored equines." "EH!?" "The pony that lives here is named Fluttershy. She's off doing some important stuff for the Summer Sun Celebration. Which, by the way, is when Nightmare Moon will be released." "But why am I in her house?" "She found you unconscious on the ground after you fell out of the portal. You were lucky to have landed at the original destination, and near the house of the nicest pony in town." Tsuna looked upwards towards the sky, worried about where his guardians might have ended up. ---Line--- Ryohei was standing just outside of a town called Appleooza. "Wow. You weren't kidding when you said they were all ponies!" "That's right." Celestia's voice spoke up. "How are you in my head, anyway?" "I told you already, I am using telepathy." "So, mind talking!?" Celestia sighed. "Yes. Now, I'm sure that if you just ask nicely, they will give you a ride to the train that leads to Ponyville, where Tsuna is." "Nah! I'll just jog!" "Y-You're kidding! It's at least five hundred, maybe a thousand miles away!" "Really!?" That sounds like an extreme jog!" Celestia was shocked. "Go ahead, I guess." she then thought to herself, 'Reborn, we're down a guardian.' ---Line--- Lambo was walking through the empty field he had landed in. He fell down. Lambo-san is lost..." he said, finally admitting defeat. "Do not fret, Lambo, I am here to guide you to Tsuna." "AH! A GHOST!" "I'm not a ghost." "Then why can't Lambo-san see you?" "Well, I'm back at my castle, but I'm talking to you with my mind." "Do you know where that No-Good Tsuna is?" "Yes, I do. Just keep walking in the opposite direction you've been walking in." Lambo looked behind himself, nodded, and walked the other way. ---Line--- Gokudera was walking around a city, looking for Tsuna. "Tenth? Where are you?" He sat down, trying his hardest not to give up hope. "Storm guardian Gokudera Hayato, I presume?" Gokudera looked around, confused. "Yeah? Who's asking?" "Princess Celestia. I brought you here." Gokudera smiled. "So, if you brought us here, you can take me straight to the tenth, right?" "Sadly, no. But there is a train station north of..." "I'm coming, tenth!" He had ran off before she could finish her sentence. Celestia smiled to herself at Gokudera's enthusiasm. ---Line--- Yamamoto had landed in Manehattan. "Where am I?" He picked up the bag that carried his sword, and started to walk around, observing the buildings and whatnot. "They do have some big buildings here, that's for sure." "Well, of course. This is Manehattan, after all." Yamamoto looked everywhere. "Okay, this is getting kind of weird." Celestia chuckled. "Sorry for separating you." "You sent us here?" "Why, yes, I did. It used up a lot of energy, however." Yamamoto laughed. "Well, I take it you can't just send me straight back to Tsuna." "That is correct. However, there is a train station that leads to Ponyville to your left." Yamamoto looked to the left, and, sure enough, there was a train station. "Okay, thanks!" He ran off towards the train station. ---Line--- Chrome had landed near a random bush in the middle of nowhere. "Boss?" She looked around, but found nothing and nobody. "You aren't going to find anypony like that." The sudden new voice caused Chrome to jump. "W-Who's there?" "I assure you, I am no enemy. But I am going to help you get back to Tsuna." Chrome tilted her head. "How?" "It's easy, just keep walking south." She was skeptical at first, but eventually just decided to do as she was told and head south. ---Line--- Hibari was in the middle of a dark forest. "Herbivores." he said as he glanced back at a couple manticores he had defeated. "Well done, Hibari Kyoya. I see why you are a guardian." Hibari raised his tonfas at the sound of the new voice. "I am not an enemy, but I must ask you to go and join up with Tsuna." "Why would I want to join up with that herbivore? Anyway, I hate crowds." "That maybe so, but joining with him is the only way you'll get back to Namimori." Hibari paused for several moments before responding. "Fine." And with that, he walked off before Celestia could give him directions. 'Tsuna's guardians sure are an odd bunch, aren't they?' she thought to herself before returning to her duties.
