The quiet town sits alone, the town looked abandon except for the small campfire in the middle, there was no power in this town. A lone pony walks around the town slowly, this pony had a name and it was Tiki, She was a foal, her coat glowed silver from the campfire, her deep blue eyes searched the town, her legs ached and her eyes heavy, she sat down near the fire and kept an eye looking around. The outskirts of this town held many dangerous creatures but the main creatures she was worried about was what she liked to call Deltas, The Deltas were ponies that lost themselves to a unknown magic, their eyes a glowing green, there pupils looked as of dragons eyes, they were brainless and moved like puppets. Tiki held her weapon close just in case, it was knife, she had not planned on using it besides using it to open bean cans and picking doors, she had never used it to do damage to anyone. A screech made her jump to her hooves, taking the knife handle in her mouth gripping tightly, she knew that one was coming but from where, it hit her in the side throwing the wind out of her, it felt like a brick, the Delta howled and went for another hit trying to bludgeon its prey to death, Tiki rolled out of the way and delivered a strong buck to the Deltas stomach and it doubled over, Tiki stood quickly but maybe to quickly, she was still recovering from her hit from before, she winced feeling her lungs burn, she threw herself to the side as the Delta lunged at her, it was getting desperate, She knew that when Deltas set their eyes on something they will make sure they do it by any means necessary. The Delta grabbed the closest thing to use as a weapon, Tikis knife, It made a savage slash at her, Tiki only got nicked by it but it still hurt alot, her fathers training kicked in, she brought her hoof quickly to the Deltas hoof with the knife gripped in it, a loud crunch echoed through her ears. Tiki grabbed the knifes handle in between her teeth and spun quickly jamming it in the Deltas neck quickly, blood spilled out while the Delta spluttered through growls, blood went down to the handle, she tasted the blood and ripped the knife from the Delta cutting through its jugular, more blood squirted out as it fell over deceased. Tiki dropped the knife and vomited onto the ground, the taste of the blood stayed with her, the sick feeling wasn't just because of the blood but also knowing she just killed a pony, another being, she felt her father be proud but she didn't feel proud of herself. The smell of the corpse now was all she could smell, the body decayed quickly from the dark magic, she could already hear the sound of flies buzzing around the corpse, she gagged and picked up her knife wiping it against her coat, more screeches and howls echoed the town, Tiki frowned and ran for the closest building, entering slowly and closing the door slowly. Tiki slowly peeked through a crack in the wall out at a couple of Deltas sniffing their comrades body, Tiki heard a different sound, she grimaced, “Gamma….”. Loud stomps could be heard, she watched as a beefy pony came from behind a building, its face has many scars, dark smoke flowed from its mouth, its hooves were nearly bigger than tree trunks, the Gamma grunted and looked around. This one appeared to be wounded, a couple of pieces of its flesh hangs from its chest, its right eye hangs from its dark eye socket, blood slowly ran down its already blood stained hooves, even in its weakened state a Gamma was nearly unstoppable. Tiki debated whether to wait it out but she knew that they would find her, so what would she do? what could she do? She was surrounded and out of ideas….. Part Three: Uneasy Alliance.Time seemed to be slowed down as the two survivors fall towards their inevitable death, obviously Pearl was screaming the whole way while Tiki thought of a plan quickly, a million thoughts rushed through her head, Pearl screams louder “Not getting my dress ruined with their grimy hooves!” she spreads her wings and flaps lifting up, Tiki mouth fell agape, Pearl just left her for dead!? Tiki slowly slid towards the balcony edge, she frowned and leaped off the balcony and lands on the ground badly, she coughed lightly and hears a loud howling. Tiki jumped to her hooves and ran for a building, she preys the doors unlocked, she grabbed the knob and turned, Its unlocked “YES!” she exclaimed as she quickly entered and slammed the door before running to the back door, she remembered the Gamma and wasn’t planning to stay, she leaped out the back door and ran down the foot path heading for the train station. The sounds of wood being smashed made Tiki gain more strength, her hooves pounded and her head hurt, she cursed Pearl with all her heart and got on the train, she ran to the front car and hoped the train still works. Tiki reached the front car and pushed the lever forward with all her might and hope, the train edges forward slowly “OH MY GOD YES!!!”, the trained then turned and tipped sideways, Tiki grabbed onto the closest thing and looked out the window, the Gamma is pushing the train of the tracks. Tiki climbed out the window and fell out and lands on her side as the train gets pushed from the track and coughs,she gets up slowly and runs, the Gamma is busy following the train to go after her. “Are you alright darling?” Tiki looked up and saw Pearl hovering just above the ground, come lower please she thought in her head, she wanted to punch the pegasus hard and mess up her stupid mane, “Do not mind that i stay of the ground, it looks dusty and i shan't be getting dust on my beautiful new dress.” Tikis rage built from that and stormed off heading down a footpath, Pearl follows slowly behind, her mane blew softly in the wind and her dress continued to glimmer in the natural light, even her ear rings sparkled, Tiki had to give her props she does look beautiful even if she did desert her. Tiki and Pearl pass a sign “The Town of Nestel: 200 miles” hearing Pearl read those words made Tiki sigh, “200 miles huh….great”, Pearl landed on Tikis back, Tiki struggled to stand “Get off me!”, “My wings are tired darling your going to have to carry me” “Can’t you just walk by yourself?” Pearl gasps “These are shoes made from the finest materials, i shant get any dust or mud on them at all”, Tiki slumped a little, she wishes she was back with the creatures, Least she wouldn't be whined to death…. Part Two: Pearl.The ground shook as the Gamma got closer, Tiki closed her eyes and slowed her breath hoping the Gamma will pass, the thuds stopped. Tiki opened her eyes slowly and put her ear to the wall, it was a trick, she could hear its breathing on the other side, these creatures were getting smarter. A sound made Tikis heart race, it was a small squeak, she looked over at the small mouse that was crawling slowly across the ground, the Gamma roars before slamming his large hoof through the wall, luckily missing Tiki, the mouse was crushed by the rubble. Tiki quickly got up and galloped at a window, the Gamma now in pursuit of the small earth pony, she threw herself through the window but she didn’t dare stop even with the small cuts she gained from her stunt, the Gamma smashes through the wall a little dazed but still chasing Tiki, she has to find a way to escape, she couldn't last too much longer her lungs were going to burst, the Gamma closing in. A high pitched squeal nearly deafened Tiki, the Gamma slowed and looked for the sound, Tiki manage to hide inside an over turned truck, she panted heavily her lungs hurt, the Gamma spots a white dot on top of a balcony of the town hall. It was a white pegasus named Pearl, her red dress glistened from the natural light, she looked down at the growing population of Deltas, she squealed again “Back Back you ghastly beasts!”, Tiki looked out of her hiding spot to see the Gamma head towards Pearl, Tiki owed Pearl for the distraction and had to help her, she quickly devised a plan to help. Pearl screamed louder when she saw the Gamma heading in her direction, she looked around quickly for something to use, a gun layed on the floor next to a dead security guard, she didn't want to grab it because it would stain her coat, she kept looking. Tiki quickly galloped towards Pearls location, Pearl saw Tiki’s quick approach “Save me from these vermin darling!”, some of the Deltas looked over and howled, Tiki cursed the white pegasus under her breath and continued to run right at the Gamma, when she was close enough she leaped up ad landed on its back and springed herself off its back and grabbed onto the side of the balcony, the gamma roared and punched the building shaking it a little. Tiki hopped over the railing and quickly spotted the gun, she picked it up and aimed it at the Gamma firing the entire clip into its head, the Gamma roared in pain and made a wild swing smashing the wall down, the balcony started swaying before falling slowly, Pearl screamed loudly, Tiki looked at Pearl and noticed her wings “USE YOUR WINGS AND FLIES US OUT OF HERE!”, Pearl just huffed “i dare not use my wings darling, i don’t want to ruffle my delicate feathers”, Tiki growled and watched in horror as the balcony leaned them into the large group of Deltas and the Pissed Gamma….
