Canterlot High, a school for students to express their greatest achievements and fulfil their dreams. Whether you play guitar, or can sing really good, this is your school to go to. Students were getting ready for class. Everyone tried to forget about recent incidents, well, at least a few tried. Sunset Shimmer was one of those students. The Dazzlings, god did she hate that name. When she had turned into a she-demon, and brainwashed the students of Canterlot High, she hadn't thought of the consequences. Perhaps The Dazzlings made the same mistake? Well, she couldn't possibly know. After The Battle of The Bands, the trio of sirens rarely talked to anyone. They were scared, at least, that's what Sunset thought. She was scared too, but Twilight and her friends showed her that friendship can overcome anything.
"Hey Sunset!"
Sunset looked up from her seat. She smiled and waved at her friends. Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash. If it wasn't for them, she would have still been bullied by all the students.
"Hey girls." Sunset smiled at the five of them. She watched as they joined her at her table. "How are all of you doing?"
"I think I speak for everyone when I say: Marvelous!" Rarity replied, taking a bite from an apple she had bought in the cafeteria of Canterlot High. "Darling, what seems to be the matter?" Rarity asked in concern.
"Well, it's Flash." Sunet replied as she looked down at her plate. She had not taken a single bite from her food. "I tried to talk to him, apologise for everything. But, he said he wasn't interested."
"Did he now?" Applejack asked as she looked at Rainbow Dash. "Maybe we should have a talk with him."
"Yeah, maybe we should." Rainbow Dash smirked.
"No, it's completely understandable." Sunset quickly interrupted. "After the whole 'taking the crown' thing, I understand." She said as she looked at her friends. "But I have you girls, and to be honest, that's all I need."
Everyone smiled and walked over to her, they all embraced her into a hug.
'Yeah, all I need.' Sunset thought.
Unfortunately for Sunset, not all people have the same opinion. A certain Duros male only thought of one thing, one thing that mattered in life. Credits. Lot's of them.

Cad Bane walked towards the mirror in Canterlot Castle, glancing back at his new client, who was looking at him with a smug expression.
"You know your mission, make sure nopony sees you." His client said.
Bane nodded. "I hope for your own good, that I stay the same after I go through that thing." Bane said as he put his hand on one of his holsters. "From what you've tolde me, if something were to go wrong--."
"If something goes wrong, just walk through the statue and you'll be your normal self again. But that is only if something happens, if not, then--."
"I know my mission, just make sure you have the credits ready once I'm finished." Bane cut his client off as he stepped through the mirror. Bane closed his eyes as he felt a tingly feeling inside of his body. He felt himself being pushed around by some invisible force, but because he had his eyes closed, he did not know what it could be. He kept his eyes closed for a few more moments, until he felt something hard underneath his feet. Opening his eyes, he saw he was right were he should be. 'Fits the description.' Bane thought as he looked at the building in front of him.
Bane looked at the sky. It was getting dark, the sun was setting. 'According to my client's info, that building is were he resides in the most. A.. School, I thought it was called.' Bane thought as he quickly made his way over towards the school. Quickly ducking behind one of the stairs; that led to the school's entrance, he peeked his head over the handrail. "Hmm, seems like there is no one there." Bane muttered. Looking up, he smirked as he raised his arm and pressed a button on his right gauntlet. A cable shot out of his gauntlet, attaching itself at the top window. Bane pulled the cable a couple of times, making sure it was attached safely. Bane pressed another button. The cable re-tracted itself into the gauntlet, and, in the progress, pulled Bane all the way to the top window.
Quickly grabbing hold of the edge of the roof, Bane pulled himself up. Careful not to slip of the roof, he ran to a more safer location on the roof. He reached the circular like, glass sphere that stood on top of Canterlot High. He looked through one of the glass windows the sphere consisted of. Reaching inside his belt bag, he grabbed a small cylinder. "Plasma cutter, gotta love them." Bane said as he cut a circle in the glass, the circle was big enough for him to fit through. Grabbing the cut glass before other could fall down, he carefully placed it beside him and entered the school.
Bane dropped himself towards the floor, using his rocket powered boots to land safely, without damaging his legs. He quickly activated his flashlight, which was located on his his left gauntlet. He un-holstered one of his blaster pistold and scanned the area he was in. It appeared to be some kind of mess hall. It reminded him of the ones they had in prison. Shaking the thoug of a Republic prison out of his head, Bane went ahead and scout the mess hall. He looked around, not seeing any sign of life. Was the school abandoned? No, it couldn't be.
Deciding not to waste his time, Bane yet again used his rocket powered boots to make his way over towards his 'self made' entrance. Grabbing hold of the glass, careful not to cut himself, he pulled himself up and left the mess hall. He looked around, and in the distance he saw it. A small town, there was light radiating of it, meaning their must be life forms there. Bane quickly ran of the roof and used his-- you guessed it-- rocket powered boots to nail the landing perfectly. He was about to move further, until he heard an unfamiliar voice enter his ears.
"I can't believe they left without me!"
Bane quickly turned around and ran toward a set of bushes, which were (neatly) located near the stairs he used to hide behind, just minutes ago. Bane peeked his head out of the bushes and saw a human female walk passed him. She wore the strangest attire he had ever seen. And what was wrong with her hair? Was it yellow? Or orange? Bane kept observing the female, he watched as she started talking to herself.
"When I get my hands on those two idiots." The female said as she pulled at her hair in frustration. "Sonata and Aria, I hate you girls!"
'She's angry.' Bane thought sarcastically, as he pondered over an idea. 'I have no idea where to go. The only intel I was given was that my target was located at this school. But the school is abandoned, so perhaps she knows where my target is.' Bane pondered the idea. But, if he did ask her, he would break his promise. And Bane was a man of his word. But.. If he didn't complete his mission, that would give him a bad reputation. So, he decided to walk up to her.. Slow and stealthy.
"I hate them!" Adagio exclaimed in anger and frustration.
"Well hello there little lady."
Adagio quickly turned around. She was so not in the mood for this. Whoever it was, he or she was going to get it. "Alright, whoever you are, prepare for the biggest.. Butt... Kicking?" Adagio froze mid-sentence. What in the name of Equus is that thing that stood before her? It was blue, had no nose, it had red eyes and long, blue fingers. It was wearing a brown jacket, and a black, leather pants. Had a belt bag and what appeared to be guns, by his hips. And he wore a hat, a western style hat.
"What's the matter?" Bane asked innocently as he walked up to the Siren. "Never seen a Duros before? Or a bounty hunter?" He asked as he traced one of his fingers across her cheek.
"Who are you?" Adagio asked in fear. She was scared, very scared. What was this thing? Was it going to kill her? Was it going to eat her?! Oh why did Twilight have to destroy her crystal. Why'd she had to,"loose her powers?! She could have really used them now!
"The names' Cad Bane." Bane replied. "Never heard of me?" Adagio shook her head. "No, how could you." Bane said as he grabbed hold of one of his blaster pistols and aimed at Adagio's head. "Listen here little lady, I'm looking for someone." Bane said as he grabbed a holo projector from his belt. He pressed a button and an image of a person appeared.
Adagio looked down at the holo picture. She looked up at Bane and asked, "You're looking for him? W-Why?"
"I have my reasons." Bane replied as he pressed the barrel of his blaster against her head. "It'd be a shame if your brains were to paint that statue over there." Bane said, pointing his blaster towards the horse statue. "If you just tell me where I can find him, I won't kill you."
Adagio instantly replied. "He's probably in Sugarcube Corner! That's were he usually hangs out!"
"Sugarcube Corner, what does it look like?" Bane asked.
"It's this big cafe; sort of thing, it's big and crowded, and a lot of pink! Believe me you won't miss it!" Adiago replied in fear as tears formed in her eyes. "Please don't hurt me, I've already been through so much."
Bane holstered his blaster pistol and put his hand on Adiago's shoulder. "Don't worry, I'm man of my word." He said as he pressed a red button
that was located on his right gauntlet. Adagio as she screamed in pain and agony as Bane electrified her, only for her to collaps on the ground, unconscious.
"I said I wouldn't kill you." Bane said as he turned around and walked towards the small town. "I said nothing about pain and agony." He smirked.
Bane's little trek towards the city was long and difficult. Wherever he looked there were humans. Why'd his client insist that he kept himself hidden? Bane had no idea. Bane, finally reaching the town, decided to take a different approach. By taking the roofs. He used his gauntlet to shoot out a cable. The cable attatched itself to a roof of a nearby house. Dim light could be seen, coming out of the upper window of the building. Quickly making his way up to the roof, Bane scanned the area. The town was pretty crowded. Everywhere he looked were humans. Man did he hate his client for this.
"Sugarcube Corner. No idea were that's located, but I'll just have to use my cunning and skills.. And in worst case, I'll just have to guess my way through." Bane said to himself as he jumped from roof to roof, trying not to attract any people. He began to ponder where Sugarcube Corner was located. It had to be crowded in there. Being a cafe, and if it's anything like the bars on Coruscant, it should be pretty crowded. Checking his holo-pad one last time,to get a look of his target, he nodded to himself and removed his hat. I hate it when it gets dusty. Bane muttered as he wiped some dust from his hat, careful not to scratch it. He wore that hat when he collected his first bounty. He wore it ever since.
After a few more minutes of roof jumping, Bane finally reached a roof that had a pretty clear view of the town. Carefully walking towards the edge of the roof, he looked down at the many buildings below. Alright, now to find my target. Bane thought as he laid down on his stomach and grabbed a binocular from his belt bag. He looked through the binoculars and scanned the area. There were a lot of buildings. There was a green building that was as big as a apartment on Coruscant, so it was a normal sized building to be exact. Bane could not see every color, so if a building was blue for example, the binoculars would display it as a black building. Then came a black colored building, Bane looked at the building without using his binoculars. Purple, it was purple. Then came another building. This one was yet again colored black by the binoculars sight. Bane looked at the building again. It was pink.. Wait a minute, pink?
"It's this big cafe; sort of thing, it's big and crowded, and a lot of pink! Believe me you won't miss it!"
Bane silently laughed to himself as he looked through his binoculars. He zoomed in on the building, otherwise known as: Sugarcube Corner. He zoom in on one of the windows. He saw several humans. One was wearing a short skirt, and a blouse of some short. Her hair was was long, and was tied into a ponytail at the middle. She also wore a hat; similar to his. "Not my target." Bane muttered as he slowly turned his head, searching for his target. He zoomed in and out, but alas, he could not find his target. Sighing, Bane finally had enough of waiting. Getting up, he turned around and walked away.
"Hey Flash, wait up!"
Bane's bounty hunter senses kicked in as he quickly turned around and looked through his binoculars. He saw a human male, he had blue hair and was wearing a set of jeans and a t-shirt that had a lightning bolt on it. He also wore a a black jacket and a set of white and black shoes.
"Yeah?" Flash asked as he turned around. "Oh, Sunset." He said in a bored voice.
"Yeah." Sunset replied as she fiddled with her fingers. "Listen, I know I've probably said this a million times, but.. I am so sorry for everything. I didn't mean to do what I did, but I did. I still don't know what drove me to do it, but I--."
"Sunset." Flash cut her off. "I know you're sorry, but you have to understand that not everyone is going to forgive you as easy as your friends did. It's just.. I'm not really sure what to do. With recent events and everything I just.. I just need some rest." Flash admitted as he held his hand out. "So, friends?"
Sunset smiled and shook his hand. "Friends."
"That's great!" Flash beamed as he quickly turned around. "But I've got to get going! See ya Sunset!"
Sunset waved at him, but he was already running to fast for nimble to see her wave at him. Letting out a sigh of relief, Sunset looked up at the night sky and smiled. So he finally accepted her apology. 'Mission successful, you could say.' Sunset thought. Sunset was about to turn around and return to Sugarcube Corner, until she saw something in the corner of her eye. Looking up at the roof of the building across the street, she saw a grim figure standing on top of the building. Squinting her eyes to get a better look, she saw the figure's head look down. And if she wasn't mistaken, the figure was looking directly at her. Sunset was so lost in thought, that she did not notice her friends walking towards her.
"Hey Sunset!" Pinkie exclaimed as she embraced her in a bome crushing hug.
"Hey Pinkie." Sunset hastily replied, while trying to wiggle out of Pinkie's iron grip around her chest.
"Whatch'ya lookin' at sugarcube?" Applejack asked as she looked up at the building; Sunset was looking at.
"Pinkie let go of Sunset." Rainbow Dash sighed as she rubbed her temples. "You ate too many cupcakes."
"I only ate seven!" Pinkie retorted.
"Girls!" Sunset quickly interrupted. Everyone looked at Sunset with a confused expression.
"What's wrong darling?" Rarity asked with a hint of concern in her tone. "You look like you've seen a ghost."
"Girls, believe it or not, but I swear I saw something." Sunset said as she looked at hee friends. "I don't know what, but I swear I saw something."
"Well, what did it look like?" Fluttershy asked.
"Well, it looked like a normal person, but from what I could see, it was wearing some kind of hat." Sunset replied.
"Like Applejack's?" Pinkie asked as she grabbed hold of Applejack's hat and waved it in front of Sunset's face.
"Kind of, but it was bigger." Sunset replied.
"Well, whatever it was, it's gone now." Applejack said, grabbing her hat. "But, if it makes you happy, we could keep an eye out." She said, placing her hat back on her head. "It's Friday, so that means weekend."
"Thanks girls, but it could just be my mind, playing tricks on me." Sunset replied as she turned around, ready to walk back towards Sugarcube Corner.
"Oh my." Fluttershy exclaimed as she grabbed hold of Applejack. "I-I saw the figure!"
"Fluttershy, it was probably your imagination." Rainbow Dash said.
"It's not, I really saw it. It just jumped over that building." Fluttershy replied, pointing at the building, beside the building Sunset was staring at. "To the other one." She said, pointing to the third building.
"That's impossible." Rainbow Dash retorted.
"Yeah, it's probably nothing." Applejack replied as she felt a shiver run up her spine. "But still, why do I get the feeling somethin's off?" She asked her friends.
"Now that you say it." Rarity added as she rubbed her arm. "I get the feeling we're being watched."
"You're all crazy!" Rainbow Dash laughed. "I'm a big, scary figure that's going to kill you!"She said, trying to imitate a scary monster.
"I'm scared." Fluttershy whispered.
"Don't worry Fluttershy." Applejack said as she put her arm around her. "Rainbow Dash was just joking, right?" She snarled at Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash coughed awkwardly, and smiled uneasily. "Yeah, just joking."
Sunset looked up at the building again. 'But still, was it my mind playing tricks on me?' Sunset thought.
"Let's head back to Sugarcube Corner y'all." Applejack said. Everyone nodded in agreement and walked back to Sugarcube Corner. Sunset, still feeling a bit uneasy, took a quick glance back towards the many buildings. She swore she saw the figure again. Trying to ignore it, she followed her friends.

Cad Bane, he followed his target, jumping from roof to roof. He had to kill him, and he had to kill him fast. But he couldn't do it when people were around. This guy, this 'Flash Sentry', he was getting on Bane's nerves. He just jade to stop; every time someone spoke to him. Couldn't it just be a quick 'hello' and 'goodbye'? Deciding to keep his anger under control, Bane kept following Flash until he was all out of buildings. The next building was too far away, and using his rocket powered boots would draw unwanted attention. Using his cable wasn't an option either. It was then, at that exact moment, Bane decided to get reckless. He looked around, not a single soul to be seen. Looking down at Flash, he activated his rocket powered boots and flew towards him.
Flash, hearing the unfamiliar sound, turned around in confusion, only to be met by a brown, leather boot, colliding with his face. Flash was sent stumbling backwards. He held his left cheek in pain as he looked around him. "Who did that?!"
"I did."
Flash turned around, and what he saw left him frozen in fear. There stood a blue creature, it had eyes red as blood, wore a black set of leather pants and a brown jacket. It also wore this big hat and had a very mean look in his eyes.
"What the heck are you?!" Flash asked in utter fear.
"I'm what you call a bounty hunter." Bane replied as he un-holstered his blaster pistols. "There's a bounty on your head, and I intend collect it."
"A-A what is on m-my head?" Flash stuttered.
"Someone wants you dead, son." Bane replied as he aimed his blaster pistols at the terrified teen. "Not that I mind though, I'm just here to collect the credits on your head. Any last words?" Bane asked.
"Please don't!" Flash begged as held his hands up in defence. "I don't even know why someone would want me dead! I haven't done anything bad!" He replied.
"Kid." Bane said as he looked around. "Worst last words I've ever heard." Bane said as he pulled the triggers of his blaster pistols.
Flash jumped aside and began to run away from the bounty hunter. Bane ram after him and continued unleashing a barrage of plasma bolts at the terrified teen. Flash watched as several red bolts flew passed him. He suddenly felt a sharp pain in his left arm. He held his arm in pain as he continued running. Where do I go?! What do I do?! Flash thought as he took a quick glance behind him. "Aaah!" Flash screamed in terror as he saw the bounty hunter fly over him. He landed in front of him and aimed his weapons at him again.
"Try the other way." Bane said as he fired at him again.
Flash screamed and turned around, running for his life. Bane smirked and followed him again. This was a simple game of 'cat and mouse'. Bane was missing every shot, not because Flash was very agile, but because he was taunting him. He was missing on purpose. Being a bounty hunter meant killing, lots of killing. But that doesn't, mean he couldn't have a little fun, before killing his target. And besides, who was going to see him? And if Flash did reach a crowded area, Bane would just shoot him from a distance and return to his client. Bane kept firing blindly at Flash, not even caring about wasting ammo. Heck, with the credits he was going to be paid with, he could buy enough ammo to account for the loss of today.
If Flash wasn't scared before, he defiantly was now! He had to run somewhere, somewhere safe! But where? He couldn't go to Sugarcube Corner, who knows what that bounty hunter might do to his friends. So he made a decision, a decision that might cost him his life. He decided to head towards Canterlot High. He kept on running and running, he didn't care if his chest hurt from all the running. He didn't care that he was getting tired. He just wanted to live! He hadn't even told Twilight how he felt about her. He wanted-- no, he needed to live!
'This kid is fast, but he'll get tired soon.' Bane thought as he followed Flash into a open area. Looking even further, he saw that he was heading towards the school. 'Perfect. No long walk back to the statue.' Bane thought
****
Sunset Shimmer was kind of nervous,it was getting dark, and she still couldn't get the figure she saw out of her head. But when Rainbow Dash came up with the idea to walk around town, she was frightened. She disagreed at first, but Rainbow Dash insisted her on joining. So, she agreed to do so. And now, they were walking towards Canterlot High.
"Remind me never to agree to these kinds of things, ever again." Rarity yawned as she looked at Pinkie, who was happily bouncing up and down. "How can you still be so wide and awake?" She asked.
Pinkie shrugged. "I don't know, its just my personality."
"Well, I think we should head back home. I mean, we've been out for a while and--."
"Last one to reach CHS needs to carry all of our bags for two weeks!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she ran towards Canterlot High. Everyone watched as she ran towards the school. They all laughed and ran after her. They finally caught up with her. She was standing in front of the school's entrance.
"Hey Dash!" Applejack nudged her friend. Only, Rainbow Dash didn't reply. "Dash, you okay?" Applejack asked in concern.
"F-Fig--figu--." Rainbow Dash stuttered.
"What's wrong Rainbow Dash?" Sunset asked, standing in front of her friend.
"F-Figure!" Rainbow Dash, screamed in in fear as she pointed her finger towards something. Everyone turned around and saw what Rainbow Dash meant. They all saw Flash Sentry running away from something. Red things flew past him. That's when they all saw it. A strange figure that was running after Flash, shooting those red things at him.
"Flash!" Sunset exclaimed in terror as she watched her ex-boyfriend being shot at. Flash instantly tunred his head towards Sunset's direction. Seeing his ex gave him a small hope of getting through this mess. But then he remembered the bounty hunter that was after him. Flash was now running towards his ex. "Girls, get out of here! Run for your lives!" He shouted to them trying to get them to run away.
"No, we're not leaving you!" Sunset retorted as she ran towards Flash, only for the figure to suddenly fly into the air and land in front of her. It sweeped her off her feet and threw her into her friends. It then quickly turned around and kicked Flash in his gut. Flash clenched his stomach in pain as he looked up at Bane.
"Why?" He asked.
Bane aimed his blaster pistols at him and smirked. "It's nothing personal, really. But, I need the credits." He said as he pulled the trigger several times. Flash felt his flesh being burned as the bolts of plasma pierced through his skin and organs. He fell to the ground and drew his last breath, Flash looked up at Bane one last time, and the last thing he ever saw, was Bane's evil grin. "And, the way you looked didn't really appeal me. So perhaps it was a bit personal."
Bane holstered his blasters and turned around. The six girls were staring at him with shocked expression. Bane sighed as he reached into his belt bag and pulled out a concussion grenade.
"If somepony were to see you, do not kill them. Use whatever methods you see fit, but do not kill them." His clients' orders echoed through Bane's mind.
He rolled the grenade towards the girls and flicked his hat towards them. Ladies, sleep tight and have a nice evening. Bane said as he walked towards Flash's body and put it over his shoulder. He heard the grenade explode, and the set of 'thumps' that followed afterwards. Bane walked towards the horse's statue and touched it. He smiled a bit and walked through the statue. Deciding to close his eyes again, he felt the same tingly feeling as before. He held on tight to Flash's body as he felt himself being pushed around again.
Finally feeling something hard underneath his feet, Bane opened his eyes and saw that he was in the secret room of Canterlot Castle. The room that held the mirror. He lookee down, only to see his client staring at him with a satisfied look on her face. Bane looked at the body of Flash, which had not changed a bit. He threw in front of his client.
"Thank you, bounty hunter." His client said as she levitated a metal briefcase towards the bounty hunter. Bane grabbed hold of the briefcase and nodded to his client. "Happy be of service." He said as he walked towards the room's exit.
"I might need your services again bounty hunter. But until then, thank you." His client said with a sincere smile.
"You're welcome, Princess Cadence." Bane replied as he exited the room, ready for his new assignment.
