I'm not a mech, I'm a WAC
Twilight Sparkle sat in her library, just reading. It was one of those days where... She didn't have to do anything. The house was clean, and everything was fine. Spike was sitting down, reading the newest edition of 'Power Ponies', and Owlicious was sleeping. Twilight heard a knock on her door.
"Who is it?!" She yelled, irritated that someone interrupted her during her 'Quiet Time'. She stomped to the door, yanking it open with her magic. There stood Derpy, who smiled at Twilight.
"Derpy? What are you doing here?" She questioned, looking around. Derpy dropped the box from her back.
"I have a package for you from......" She put the clipboard in her hoof, looking to it with her crossed eyes.
"Princess Celestia! Here you go!" She said, flying away. Twilight lifted the box off of the ground using her magic. It was unusually heavy.
"Spike!" She shouted, the dragon's head perking up. He immediately got up, walking to her.
"Yes Twilight?" He asked. He fixated his eyes on the box.
"What is that?" He asked. She looked to him.
"That's what we're about to find out." She said. She looked to the box.
"Can you open it up?" She asked kindly. He got his claws out.
"More than likely!" He said, a sly grin on his face. He scratched the surface of the box, carefully cutting the tape. Soon after, the box opened, revealing a piece of paper. Twilight levitated it to eye level.
My dear Twilight,
I have sent you this package to examine what it is. Last night, I found this hidden in the palace gardens. If you could, please look into it as an assignment. That is all for now.

Twilight grinned as she levitated a the box. On it said:
"WAC-47! Your new, and improved pit droid!" She stared at the box with suspicion, and excitement in her eye. She FINALLY had something to do today! But something wasn't right..... What was a pit droid?
"Here Twilight! I got the toolbox so we can build this thing!" Spike said, Twilight recieving the heavy box with her magic. She looked to the box once more, opening it with her magic. Parts and circuits fell out, leaving her with a shocked expression on her face. She had to put THIS together? She sighed as she opened the toolbox.
"Spike." She said, enthusiasm in her voice.
"We have a long day ahead of us!"
Fluttershy was trotting home from shopping. She looked over to Twilight's library, seeing a sign on her door, which clearly read 'Please Don't Disturb'.
"I wonder what she's doing! Maybe she can use my help." Fluttershy said. She walked to the door, hearing clanging sounds and screwdrivers twirling. She knocked on the door, which was quickly answered by Spike.
"Fluttershy? What are you doing here?" He quickly asked. She looked around.
"Well... I just thought that you guys could use some help! That's all." She said, looking inside. She saw Twilight.... Building something. It looked like a very short cyclops. Twilight directed her attention to Fluttershy.
"Fluttershy! I'm so glad that you're here! Quickly, come here to flip this switch!" She said with an excited tone. Fluttershy flew in, taking a closer look at the..... Thing. It was completely red, a black thing on the front of its head, looking like an eye. Twilight looked to the switch.
"If you could flip that over there, it would be great!" She said, running over to the little cyclops. Fluttershy neared the switch, looking at it.
"It's finally gonna happen! The first robot in Equestria!" Twilight said as she looked at her marvelous creation. Fluttershy put her hoof on the switch, automatically flipping it. She turned around, seeing the thing move. It looked around, and took a few steps forward.
"Thank you for activating me. I was getting a little uncomfortable, my parts being scattered in that box." It said. Fluttershy and Twilight gasped, just as Spike came into the room. He looked at it.
"Wow! You got the robot working already? I thought it would take longer!" Spike said, looking on in awe. The robot looked to him.
"A life form. It seems humanoid." He said, crossing his arms. He looked back, seeing two ponies, staring at him.
"So, who rebuilt me then?" It asked. Twilight put a smile on her face.
"I did. My name's Twilight Sparkle. May I ask what your name is?" She said in a hesitant voice. It crossed its arms in a sassy manner.
"The name's WAC. WAC-47 to be exact." He looked around, seeing the other pony.
"And who're you then?" It didn't respond.
"Do you have a bug in your system? I asked you a questiiiiiion...." He said, falling down. Twilight looked over to Fluttershy, seeing that she flipped the switch back down, which turned him off.
"What happened?" Twilight asked. Fluttershy looked to the robot in horror.
"I'm scared of it....." She said in a very quiet tone. Twilight sighed.
"Listen, it doesn't have any weapons.... At least I think it doesn't. There's nothing to be afraid of! If you show him kindness, I think you'll be good friends with him!" Twilight said, putting a smile on her face. Fluttershy nodded, flipping the switch gain. The droid sat up, rubbing his head.
"What the- where am I?" He said, looking around. Twilight eyed him.
"Ummmm.... Who're you? Are you my mother?" WAC asked, looking to Twilight. She looked to him strangly.
"Are you okay, WAC? You were fine just a minute ago." She said. He shook his head.
"My logs say that my memory was erased.... 30 seconds ago. Are you my mother?" She cringed at the question again. Why was she his mother?!
"Well.... I built you. Does that count?" He immediately ran up and hugged her leg, surprising her.
"Mommy!" It said, glee in its voice. She looked to Fluttershy, who was watching with Spike. They were both giggling.
"Well.... I guess I can take care of you.... for now." She said, looking back down to the robot. She grabbed a battery with her magic, putting it in the droid. Then Spike flipped the switch. The robot broke the hug, looking to the dragon.
"Hi there! I'm WAC! What's your name?"
