Celestia and Luna have been missing for a week. No-one have heard or seen them. During that time, Equestria was in a political downhill, and there started to be more crimes in Canterlot than ever before. Many ponies didn't go to work, buildings started to rot and break, and many ponies died either to getting shot or becoming ill.
That couldn't continue, so the only option was to choose a new leader. Cadence and Shining Armor were needed to lead the Crystal Empire, or the Crostolios, as spelled in their ancient language, so the only member of the royal family left was Prince Blueblood.
That was when the dark ages of Equestria began.
Blueblood was not known for being a fair leader, and so he never really cared about if something bad happened to earth ponies. Many earth ponies tried to oppose his leadership, but most of them ended up getting either shot by royal guards or prisoned to Haycatratz. He even started arguing with other nations like Centauria and Saddle Arabia, but the worst arguement was with Griffon Kingdom.
Griffon Kingdom's King Arnecotgo stated that Blueblood ruled his nation wrong, and Blueblood stated that he could destroy his kingdom in three months.
That was when the war began.
All Griffon Kingdom's best soldiers were transported to Griffonstone, a mountain in the middle of Equestria that was a part of Griffon Kingdom. Ponies did have more advanced weapons, but there were more griffon soldiers than pony soldiers in that area. Ponies were almost losing, but then they decided to use atom bombs.
The first one was dropped to Griffonstone, causing an enourmos amount of rocks to crush half of Manehattan. Couple months later, another bomb was dropped, this time to northwest from Appleloosa, where was a griffon camp. This explosion was also enourmos, and it was the final hit against griffons, causing ponies to win.
But did they win really?
Equestria's most cities were destroyed, Canterlot was the only city left, there was nothing but radiation outside of Canterlot.
Equestria was no more.
