ironfang and moon--a new life

Its me,moonblossom again.....i am going to see ironfang today,because he currently has no family to look after him.any way,when I got there,I noticed he was facing away from the door,and he had a severe damaged wing

"fang? You awake?"I questioned,walking around to the others side of the bed,seeing him awake,staring off into'space' I asked him again

"are you alright fang?"

He sighed"I'm fine,just peachy"he flipped over to the other side of th bed,and I was flustered

"IRONFANG JOSEPH SHIMMER!!!AWNSER MY QUESTION!!!"

"gah!"he was shocked and looked over at me and just leaned into me and sobbed,finally letting his emotions go.he was hugging me,crying into my shoulder trying to talk

"shhhhh"I told him"everything's gonna be ok"I rubbed his mane,trying to comfort the sobbing stallion

He stopped crying long enough to say"i-I just found out I have a tumor in my front right leg"

He continued to sob,so I gently placed him back on his bed,and handed him a cup of coffee,and rubbed his back.

After about a minute of crying,the nurse came in

"ironfang"she said"its time for surgery,please lay down so we can sedate you"

The color drained from ironfangs face"s-sedate me?"

The nurse nodded as she briskly gave him a shot

That should do the trick

She nodded at her work and said

"I will be back in half an hour"

She left the room,leaving me and fang alone once again.

Ironfang:m-moon

Me:yes?

Ironfang:i-need to tell you something.....

Me:what id that?

Ironfang:I.....like....you....

I was shocked,but simply gave him a kiss and said I like him too,and we sat for a few minutes before I heard a peeing noise,I looked at him and his eyes were wide open and shocked

"i-I"he was to embarrassed to speak,so I shushed him,

"its ok,the numbed your legs so I understand how you didn't feel it coming"

He was completely flustered,and his face and tips of his ears turned a brought red as he looked down and ears flattened.

"Fang,do you want me to call the nurse?"I asks him,looking at the yellow spot on his white bed sheets

Ironfang just nodded,so I called the nurse being shure to remind her his legs had been nummed.

She said she would be there in ten minutes,so for now I needed to clean him up.

I shivered at the thought but said ok be fore hanging up

"ironfang,she said I need to help you clean yourself up"wth that,I helped him up and led him to the shower,and turned on the water,I  him gently,remembering how ticklish stallions could be,and I massaged shampoo into his mane and rinsed.he was blushing/smiling the entire time,so I knew he was enjoying it.i wished he could clean his privates himself,but he couldn't,so I had to ,yuck!

After I gaace him a shower,I draped a towel over his body and dried him off.aflter dring him,I applied some lotion to him,carefully massaging it in so it would keep his body comfortable.I then I considerd diapering him,thinking of how cut that would be,and funny too,but I decided not to,because it may embarrass him.i changed the sheets on his bed and layed him back on it,reluctantly preening his wing a little.the nurse came in and thanked me,then taking the bed out of the room.

I waved at ironfang and blew him a kiss, before going to take a shower myself.
