chapter 1 putting a blade to use
"Once I saw just a boy with the mind of a killer, once he had a family, once he had a name, but now he follows one of the oldest paths that an assassin could, he showed that one mind could get passed the most impossible tasks. he walks the path of an assassin who kills that who wrongs the populous, his goal is make a world that is free from corruption. but now his mission will change and his thinking will change a world like this one, so he will choose how it builds itself for the return of darkness, for he is only known as 'via umbras'."
As the sun was rising up the east horizon, in a bar that was popular for trades, deals and other things like that would be made here but David was here to catch someone that was trafficking the money for pickup from the crime bosses and he was the only one because he was never found unlike the others but now he would know that a shadow can be found even in darkness.
David was talking to people making a deal and showed then a police officer and that if they where planning something the officer might have heard it all, David walked away back to a table that had two seats and sat down to wait, the door then opens and David looked up and he sat at the bar so David got up and walked to the bar and said "The whisky in this place is awful!"
The man who heard David looked around couldn't spot him then he said "Show yourself, you coward." Then he felt a sharp thing in his back and David was there with a hidden blade digging into his back. " next time you want me dead make sure that he doesn't look like Agent 47, bye-bye friend." Then David pulled the hidden blade out of the assassin and walked out of the bar.
David strolled down the dark, gloomy streets of Karlruhe until he came to a sudden halt, the sound of a telephone ringing struck his interest, he walked over to the telephone and picked it up, a strange voice spoke to him "I hear you have a reputation, time to uphold it and come find me..." David put the phone down and continued to walked along the path until he reached his motorbike and got ready to ride but then his phone rang, he put on his helmet and said "hello." then it answered the phone and it was a old friend that said "I left the money at the bus stop, can you get it for me? thanks."
David went to the bus stop and a case was there and he picked it up and drove off to a woods area and stopped at entrance of the woods and parked in open parking lot then walked to the woods and walked down the path until he there was a cliff and looking onward there was just a big wood area down the cliff and he jumped down and used the trees to slow his fall.
while down there he climbed a tree and going faster along the treetops and stopped at a small home in the middle of the area and he walked in his home and put down the case and opened the door and closed it then looked it.
he sat down for a bit then got up and trend on his computer and looked at the phone that rag on him and saw it was just a stupid prank call but thought to get them back and looked up there internet traffic and saw they where constant users and then used the data hub in the street they where in and started to piggy back off the data and saw all that they used, Xbox one, play station 4, tow different computers and four phones.
then he cut off the primary network and sent them a message saying "I found you!" and all the internet cut off and David closed down all that saw he had a message from unknown and saw by how it spoke that it was the outsider. David shut down his computer and went to bed for the rest of the day.
the next day he awoke quite early in the morning and stood up to look outside and he saw lights, blue lights flashing and David said "oh deus vos!".
walking to the door he thinks about what is going on, he walks outside and hears "freeze!" David stops and puts his hands behind his back and asked "what is the problem officer?" the officer walks to David and said "we have reasons to believe you are the assassin we have been looking for."
David put his hands at his sides and walked to the officer who was quite jumpy, he said "stay back!" David walked and said "come on now if i was the man you are looking for i would of done something supernatural by now, i have the reports on the assassin and i think you must bring him in." still walking slowly the officer lowered the gun and David said "velim mihi ignoscas quod ad hoc"
the officer took one hand off the gun the David span around and kicked the officer in the knee then grabbed the gun and knocked him round the head with it and pointed it at the sniper that was in the trees and shot him out, falling on the ground with a bullet in his arm the sniper was trying to get his gun but David was there in a second, David picked him up and said "who else knows about this?"
the sniper was scared and said "no one else, because we was going to bring you in and come out as the heroes." David smiled "its people like you that make this job so fun, i am the assassin of shadows and you will never bring me in or end my life so give up!" David dropped the sniper and walked off
as he was walking off the sniper looked up and his gun was gone, David whistled and the sniper was confused until a pack of wolfs was in the distance, move to get out of the way he saw his partner and he was dead, the pack arrived and surrounded the sniper and started to kill and eat.
David still walking heard the screams and walked in his home to think, then started to look at police on going investigations and there was no lead to say that he was involved so he was in the clear, for now. suddenly David felt off and lay down on his bed, sitting back he felt light headed and passed out.
waking up and looking around he saw that nothing was in place, things where floating and the door was gone. David stood up and walked out to see he was in the void, walking on a path then the outsider appeared and said "in the beginning it was just you, but now i can see that you have made a following, so David are you ready for the biggest challenge yet?" David saw the ground move and his hideout and followers where there and he felt like he had done something.
then he appeared agene "you always had something they didn't, and it was that alone why i chose you." David looked around to see everything shifting around and the outsider spoke once more "now you will use a new body in a new world but be carful for you actions will decide the fate of this world, but you will have to find the transformation, if you show yourself, you will become a target but it will be you're new home so treat it well, i send you now to you're new quest but know i will be watching and waiting."
and with that the outsider was gone and David was going to this new world but will he take it as well the last.
"with that i now leave you to think: would you of done something different?" "time for our character to go and decide."
