Day 1 - Recruitment
“God!” Aria slammed the refrigerator closed and stomped her way out of the kitchen
Adagio lowed the book away from her face “What now?”
“There's never any food in this damn house!”
“No. No there isn't. And it's not like you've had the urge to get a job. I can't support the three of us on a crappy Burgertime pay. And it's not like anyone is dumb enough to giving Sonata one either.”
“I already told you I was looking!”
Adagio brought the book back to her face“Mmhm, right, because walking around the mall for an hour like a lost child is looking.”
Aria punched the wall leaving a small dent in the drywall.
“Yes, please punch the wall. That will really help.”
Adagio heard the rampage travel down the hall, slowly becoming more quiet forcing a terrified Sonata to come fleeing away from Aria's rage.
“Jeeze, what's up with her?” Sonata gripped her arm
“Just another hunger induced rampage from Aria, it'll pass.” She sipped the hot tea
“So, no food tonight again?” Sonata frowned
Adagio looked up from her book and sighed “Unfortunately not. sorry.”
small tears welled in the corners of her eyes “O-okay.” she held her aching stomach
Adagio set the book on the table beside her and drank the last drops of her tea, then stood up. She pulled the old purple hoodie from the rack beside the door, and stepped outside into the bitter cold night.. The snow piled up on the sidewalks of the house they lived in. They only owned house because they had used magic to coax the realtors into giving them dirt cheap rent. Adagio sighed, only two weeks until the lease was up and they would realize what they have had done. She pushed that thought out of their mind and kept walking into the ice cold night.
The starry sky above her faded away into black as she reached the shopping district. She looked up at the gold arched sign above her. She looked into her wallet, revealing only a single quarter. Adagio sighed and pushed the wallet back into her pocket.
A tall dark figure approached her from behind and whispered with a woman's voice “Looks like you're hard on cash, Adagio. If you follow me, I believe I may be able to help.” the figure walked to the double doors and motioned Adagio to follow.
Adagio froze in place after hearing the shadowy figure say her name, but this was the second night in a row she and her sisters hadn't had food, and three days till her job paid her. The soreness in her stomach automatically lurched her forward, forcing her to walk into the restaurant.
The dark figure sat at a booth in the far back of the restaurant. Adagio walked past the tables and sat across from her.
“So, how do you know who I am?” Adagio tried to identify the figure, but her face was mostly obscured by a dark colored scarf.
The Woman chuckled “ After that performance back at The Battle of the Bands, it'd be hard to not know you Sirens.”
Adagio shot the mysterious woman a glare.
“Not to worry. I'm not here to discuss that, nor am I here to force an apology from you.”
Adagio leaned back into the cold cushion behind her “So who are you then?”
“Don't worry about that just yet. I'm just here to tell you about a job.”
Adagio laughed “I already have a job you see.”
“This pays much more than a burger joint's pay. Some ten times what you normally make.”
Adagio leaned in again. “You can stop joking around now. I can already tell you're trying to make a fool of me.”
“I'm not fooling you. You and your sisters are perfect candidates for this job. Seeing how rough a place you all are in.”
“Guess I don't have much to lose then do I? Let's hear it.”
“Good.” She placed a folder on the table from her coat “You see, you are in a hard spot, and I need to get my hands on a team. If you accept, you will be very wealthy. If you decline, then you won't be hearing from me again, and that will be that.”
Adagio leaned in again “Go on.”
“Great.” she looked around to make sure no one else was in earshot, and flipped open the folder. Pictures of a bank and floor plans were pinned to both sides, along with details about every inch of the building. “You see, the world is quiet corrupt, and banks like this are some of the places that start it.” She pointed at a picture of a sign that read 'Harvest & Trustee' “This bank in particular is quite notorious for losing money if you get what I mean.”
“So what? You lost a deposit or two, and now you want revenge?”
She chuckled “Easy with that attitude. And no, not just me. Thousands of people. Take a look at these papers.” She pulled a stack of papers from the folder. “You can see for yourself. Every single money deposit has an error. Then you can see the bank stealing money directly from people's accounts. They tell you it's perfectly legal taxation.”
Adagio looked through the papers, errors in deposits frequently littered the spreadsheets. She dropped the papers and looked her in the eyes “So, you want us to steal from a corrupt company? Won't that just make us as bad as them?”
The woman closed the folder “Think of us as one collective Robin Hood.”
Adagio's eyebrow raised “Right.”
“So...” the woman slid a card across the table and then an envelope “I'll give you some time to talk it over with the other two. Enjoy your meal by the way.” She walked out of the restaurant and vanished into the dark night.
Adagio looked through the papers reading over the pages multiple times. She needed the money badly. She packed the papers into the folder again and opened the envelope. Her eyes glittered, it contained multiple twenty dollar bills. She smiled, her stomach already felt the relief.
Adagio walked to the counter “Hi, get me three Big Mac meals to go, make them large.”
“Uh, sure.” The cashier quickly punched in the order “You want any apple pies?”
Adagio's sweet tooth kicked in “Get me three.”
Aria crumpled the bag and tossed it across the room “So you want us to be criminals now?”
“Not exactly criminals. More like Robin Hood, actually.”
“Well Robin Hood was actually a criminal. He still stole things ya' know!” Sonata chimed in, instantly getting glares from the other two “W-what? I like that movie!”
“What I mean to say is, that they are a crooked bank. Stealing from them would be partially righteous.”
“Yeah, let's just tell that to the cops when they arrest us.” Aria rolled her eyes
“Then let's not get arrested. Besides, what else are we going to do? Work at crappy burger joints the rest of our lives? No one else will be willing to hire high school dropouts.”
“Dying in prison isn't exactly better you know...” Aria stuffed a handfull of fries into her mouth
“I don't wanna go to prison either!” Sonata whined
Adagio sighed “We aren't getting arrested if we stick to the plan. How hard could it be anyway? We almost took over an entire high school, didn't we?”
“Yeah, but we also had magic, and not the threat of a bullet in our heads.”
“Alright. Fine. I won't force you to go through with it. She said we wouldn't hear from her again if we decline. So if you say no, then that's that.” Adagio walked down the hallway “Just think about it.” She shut her door behind her.
Sonata sucked the last bit of soda from the cup “It sounds scary...”
“No, really?”
“But if Adagio is going, then so am I!” Sonata jumped to her feet and marched to her own room leaving Aria behind.
“Ugh!” She tossed herself back onto the couch and stared at the ceiling. Aria tossed her trash and walked back to her room, then clicked the radio on letting the sound of Metal music allow her to think.
Aria dropped herself onto her bed, she also remembered the lease would end in two weeks. Then the tree of them would be thrown out onto the street. Then they would starve, or freeze to death. She rolled over and stared into the blinking alarm clock, she quickly fell into a trance that coaxed her mind into letting her sleep.

Day 2 - Pre planning
The early morning chill inside the house caused Aria the shiver when she woke. She pulled a warm robe off her closet door and quickly wrapped herself its warmth.
Aria pulled the door open and walked through the hallway. Her two siren sisters sat at the table, still looking through the folder she had recieved last night.
“Morning, Aria.” Adagio sipped her mug “Coffee's weak this morning, used wasn't much left.”
Aria groaned in annoyance and poured herself a a mug, the steam that rose from it warmed her nose. She sat down at the table across from Sonata. “So.” She drank the dark liquid “I- uh, I guess I'm in.”
Adagio smirked “Good.” She pulled the card out of the folder and dialed the number on it.
The phone rang for a few seconds until the woman on the phone spoke “Thank you for calling Canterlot High School. This is Vice Principal Luna speaking.”
Adagio froze, she had finally remembered the voice from last night exactly matched the woman from last night “So you gave me your school phone extension?”
“Uh-” She paused “N-no?”
Adagio looked at her nails “Yeah, great. Anyways we're in.”
A deep sigh hissed from the speaker “Alright. It wasn't me who put the information together, okay? It was one of my informants.”
“It's alright, I believe you. Anyway what next?”
“Meet me at Denny's at eleven, how about we ease up on the attitude today?”
“No promises, and Denny's really?”
“No one goes to Denny's anymore so it's perfect to talk about this business.”
“Mmhm, sounds great.” Adagio dropped the phone back to the receiver and returned to the table
“So what now?” Aria sipped the weak brew again
Adagio palmed her face “We go to Denny's”
“Denny's? Why? That place sucks!” Sonata whined
“Because no one goes there. We're going for business anyway.”
“Doing business at Denny's?!? Does she think this is a joke?” Aria slammed her fist into the table
Adagio sighed “Not sure, but she did gave me two-hundred in bills last night.”
Aria ran her hand over her head “So what?”
“So, obviously she may have some credibility.”
“Sure, whatever.” Aria drank the last bit of coffee “I'm taking a shower.”
“Fine, just hurry up.”
“I'll go get ready too!” Sonata sprang out of her chair and ran down the hall.
Adagio cleaned the mugs from the table and washed them in the sink before leaving to her room. Adagio slid her dresser open to pull fresh clothes from. Adagio exited her room at the same time as Aria stepped out of the bathroom.
“Bathroom's open.”
Sonata ran down the hall to cut front of Adagio “Hold on I gotta brush my teeth!”
Adagio stepped back as to not slam into Sonata “Just hurry up, we've gotta go to Denny's in thirty minutes.”
Sonata turned to Adagio with bubbles flooding in her mouth“Okay!”
“Tell Aria to hurry up too. You know how long she likes to take.” Adagio said over her shoulder
“Goh eht!” Toothpaste foam flung from her mouth
Adagio sat on the living room couch and picked up the book, returning to the page she was on last night.
Aria stepped out of her room, attired in the same blue jeans and hoodie she used to wear when feeding with their gem's power, “We ready yet?”
Adagio looked over at Sonata, patiently playing with her ponytail “We've been ready for the past five minutes actually.”
Sonata parted the end piece of her ponytail way from her mouth “Yeah Aria, you slowpoke!”
She scowled, instantly signaling Sonata to stop talking.
“No fighting today, we've got business to attend to. Let's not waste any more time,” she looked at the girl in the hallway “ Aria, and get going.” Adagio smiled sarcastically in Aria's direction.
Aria grunted and folded her arms.
Adagio placed her book back down on the table beside her and walked to the counter where the folder laid. Then she walked out of the house and was greeted with a light snow.
“Ugh! More snow?!? It was literally just snowing yesterday!” Aria kicked the piled frost on the sidewalk, causing a powdery explosion to shower over her. Fury built up visibly reddening her face, she turned to see Sonata attempting to hide a chuckle with her hands.
Adagio grabbed her siren sister by her hood, stopping her before she could charge at Sonata “What did I just say? We're already going to be running late, I don't need to break up another fight between you two.”
“Fine.” Aria yanked her hood back from Adagio
Adagio lightly pushed Sonata in front of her “Now behave yourselves and lets go.”
Sonata silently obeyed, and walked ahead of the group, while Aria kept her distance behind Adagio. Adagio rounded the corner where the McDonald's that she had met Luna in last night was as she passed it, she had started to wonder what possible reason was there for Luna to have confronted her again. The only interactions she had with anyone of this world was negative, seeing how she enslaved an entire school with jealousy and contempt. It truly made no sense for her to be trusting her again, but there was no other option for the Sirens to take.
“We're here!” Sonata waved her hand in front of Adagio who had been lost in thought
Adagio shook her head, forcing her thoughts away “O-oh, excuse me.” She stepped ahead of the group and pulled the door open, motioning for them to enter.
A hostess quickly made her way from the kitchen to greet them “Hello! Welcome to Denny's!”
Adagio scanned the dining room and saw a blue haired woman sitting at a corner booth casually reading a newspaper “Actually we were here to meet the woman in the back, thank you.”
she smiled “Oh, alright then, You can just head on over, Menus are already there for you.”
Adagio walked ahead of the group, and lead them to the table
Vice Principal Luna dropped the newspaper and pulled her sunglasses down “Please take a seat. I've ordered you three coffee already.”
“Ooh!” Sonata slid down the circular booth “I love coffee!”
Adagio dropped her palm on Sonata's mug and slid it away from her “She doesn't need it. She's annoyingly energetic as is.”
Sonata pouted “You never let me have coffee!”
Aria smirked and sipped the bitter black brew “That's a good thing.”
“Looks like you three are as lively as ever.” Luna noted “Let's hope we don't have to deal with anymore shenanigans.”
Adagio's eyes bore into Luna
Luna snickered “Cheap shot, I apologize. Anyways, would you like breakfast before we start?”
“Uh” Adagio's jaw dropped
“Oooh!” Sonata pulled the menu away from Aria “I wanna Grand Slam! What're you gettin' guys?”
Aria moaned and dropped her head into an open palm.
“What's the matter?” Luna sipped her coffee
“I guess we just thought that you'd be more professional about this.” Adagio sassed
“I was only trying to be generous.”
“Good, cuz' I'm starving” Sonata commented
Adagio sighed “Whatever, I'll get whatever Sonata's getting.”
“Is this really happening?” Aria hissed through clenched teeth
“Aria, please.” Luna set her mug down “We'll be getting there, I just don't want you girls skipping any more meals.”
She ungratefully rolled her eyes “Whatever.”
“She'll take the same.” Adagio glared at her fellow Siren
Luna nodded “Right then.”
“Hello ladies!” A tall waiter flipped open a pad “What would you like?”
Luna ordered and let the Sirens relax and eat their breakfast. She observed how they acted. They were truly just like average teenage girls, give or take a hundred years. Luna quietly laughed after seeing Sonata cause trouble with Aria by stealing a sausage link from her plate, and the following punch she received after made Luna audibly chuckle.
Aria pushed her plate to the center of the table “Thanks, I guess. Now let's finally get on with it.”
Luna tipped the mug up, letting the last cold drops of coffee to pour into her mouth. “Alright, I won't keep you waiting any longer.” She pulled out another folder and dropped it on the table with a slap. “ You already know the bank, and you know what it does. So let's talk about the layout”
Aria pulled the folder to herself and flipped it open revealing blueprints and notes
“There are three entry points, one front door, and one side door, and one back door. To the left of the entry is the Teller line, obviously with bullet proof glass. Then you have a small office place to the back right of the branch. The manager's office is in the back of that, he is known to leave a security key there often. You get that, you get into the security room easy.” She cleared her throat “The camera room should be in the back, you get in there and take the security camera operator out and you just have to worry about the last three guards.”
“You mean t-to take them out, as in?” Sonata hesitantly stuttered
“Kill.” Luna nodded
Sonata gasped in horror “B-but I don't want to hurt anyone!”
“So you're fine with marching into Equestria with an army of enslaved kids, that includes killing people. ” Aria sassed
“It's different though, guns are something else all together.”
“Please.” Luna held her palm out
Adagio cut her sister's bickering with a silent hand gesture “Go on, Vice Principal.”
She nodded “As I was saying, the guards must be taken out. This part is tricky, though... You see, they are told to make rounds in the building, so suspicious activity will not be tolerated.”
“So we go in, get the key card and take the camera guy out. Not the first time I stole from places.” Aria shrugged
“Great, so you go in first and get the card, Sonata will pick the lock in the back to meet you in the security room. Adagio will then use the cameras to monitor the guard's movements. After taking the guards out, you have to break into the teller line and get them away from the Alarms, while the other two control the civilians. You will be given some ties to make sure they don't do anything foolish. From there, all you have to to do is begin drilling the vault open.” She grimaced “Then you're home free.”
Adagio copied Luna's grin “Sounds easy enough.”
“I've already set up a safe house, so I'll send you over straight away. I'll also be helping you girls learn how to use the drill correctly, and also to pick the type of locks those doors have, they can't be opened with a simply bobby pin you know.”
“Just know that you shall never take a hostages life, for any reason. When, or rather if the police get involved, they will become more and more desperate to save lives.”
“Sure, whatever.” Aria shrugged
“Aria, I'm serious. Bystander blood should never be spilled.”
“She gets it.” Adagio glared
“If all goes well, and no police get involved, then we have an easy in and out heist.” Luna flipped the folder closed and slid it to the Sirens
Adagio pulled it in “Let's hope it is.”
“I've got to return to the school now, so head to the safe house and look around. There's a few guns there, why not get yourselves comfortable with them?” Luna stood up. I'll take care of the bill, you three go test out the safe house.”
Adagio pulled a page from the folder with directions to their new safe house “Lets get going, the house is in the city.”
“So can we go to Baskin Robbin's?!?” Sonata begged
“We just had breakfast, Sonata.” Aria groaned
“But ice cream is so good!”
“We'll get ice cream tomorrow Sonata, right now we have work to do. Come on, the bus stop isn't far from here.” Adagio stepped outside into the cold and sat on the cold metal seat under the canopy.

Chapter 3 - PAYDAY!!!
Adagio dropped her two Bernetti the onto the table beside her and watched Aria finish her magazine into a target dummy.
She smiled after the head cracked off and fell to the ground “Got it.”
“Looks like you finally found an outlet for your anger.”
Aria shrugged “Guess so.”
“Just keep the bullets on the enemy.” Adagio walked out of the shooting range hearing a high pitched beeping.
“Come on!!!” Sonata shouted after hearing a loud clang
“Don't kick it. “ Luna tried to calm her down
“But I'm doing the instructions right, and it keeps breaking down!!!” She whined
“Having some trouble?” Adagio leaned on the doorway
Sonata stomped her foot “It wont work right!”
“Oh?”
“It keeps breaking down after every forty seconds!”
“It's probably just the drill. As long as you can just restart it, you'll be fine.” Luna sipped her tea
Adagio crouched beside the thermal drill “That sounds a bit lazy, don't you think?”
Luna shrugged “ Nothing's perfect.”
“I guess.”
“So, how's everyone at lock picking?”
“I can do about thirteen seconds on heavy locks.”
Sonata reignited the drill “Yes!!! First try!”
“And she can do about the same, but Aria has had practice before so she can get about eight if she tries.”
Luna set the cup down “I think you girls are ready.”
Sonata's stomach dropped “B-but I can't get the drill to stay on!”
Luna placed her hands on Sonata's shoulders “I trust you will be fine. Now believe in yourself Sonata.”
“I- don't know.” her eyes fell
“If it goes according to plan, then you'll have plenty of time to have that drill break through.”
“Yeah, I guess so.”
“We'll be fine.” Adagio encouraged her siren sister
Luna retrieved her cellphone and placed it to her ear.
Luna began speaking to the driver, while Sonata crossed her fingers hoping the drill wont stop again. Adagio looked down at the machine hooked to the safe while a final clang as it broke the lock, she pressed a few buttons on the screen turning it off. She examined the hole in the practice safe, it had bore a perfect hole into the lock. She pulled the door open to see a congratulatory note left on the inside with a smiley face. She couldn't help but smile herself while picking the note up.
Luna placed the phone back into her pocket and turned to Adagio “Your driver will be here soon, I just ask that you don't do anything rash when you meet her.”
Adagio stuffed the note back into the safe “Why is that?”
“You'll see. But it's more Aria that I'm worried about...”
Adagio nodded.
“Go get Aria and wait in the rec room, I'll get you when she gets here.”
“Alright.”
Sonata laid sprawled out on the couch while watching TV and sucking a juice box while Adagio and Aria conversed about the heist over coffee.
Luna stepped through the door “You three have already met, so I'll save the introductions.”
A rainbow haired devil walked into the room grinning “Sup?”
Aria jumped to her feet, kicking the chair away “You brought her?!?”
Adagio grabbed her sisters hand and pulled her back “Please Aria!”
“You three huh?”Rainbow scoffed
“Yes, I know you you've had a, run in, with each other. But you see, she's the best drag racer in town.” Luna stepped in front of Aria
She stuck out her chest pridefully “Yep, you know it”
“Aaaand, knowing that she is a top drag racer; I contacted her, much in the same way I did you Adagio. She's been training to drive the getaway car this week while you've been training for the heist.”
“So you thought it would be fine to team us with our enemy?” Aria clenched her teeth
“I believe you can put it past yourselves for a pay day.”
Adagio walked around Luna and looked Rainbow Dash over “Fine. We'll put up with her.”
Rainbow laughed “You'll put up with me? Aren't you three the ones that tried, and failed, to take over a High School?”
“Watch yourself Rainbow, we're all working together now. Let's just leave our past behind and move on.”
Sonata peeked from the distance “She's mean though!”
“Pff, Yeah, I'm the mean one...”
“Sonata.” Adagio snapped
“So we going to do this this or what?” Rainbow turned to Luna
“Tomorrow morning. Easier if we go early, less people to deal with.”
“Right. So why did you call me in today?”
“I called you in so that you wouldn't do this whole argument thing under gunfire and get yourselves killed.”
Rainbow rolled her eyes “I hope you know that I skipped out on one of Pinkie Pie's Cupcake lunch for this...”
“Oh, I'm so sorry you didn't get a stupid cupcake.”
Rainbow Dash turned to Aria “Apparently you never had a Pinkie cupcake.”
“Let's keep it that way.”
Luna intercepted the two girls again “Don't get into it now please?”
Adagio pushed Aria lightly “Go back to the range before you start a fight.”
Aria rolled her eyes and obeyed
Rainbow's widened “Aw, you got a range here?”
“Yes, I had one installed. You may use it if you like.”
Rainbow ran down the hall to the range to see Aria unloading a magazine into the target.
“Whoa , so cool! Let me try!” Rainbow begged
“Sigh. Fine. Don't scratch my gun.” She tossed her rifle at Dash
She stumbled backwards “Guh, that's heavier than it looks.” Rainbow plugged a new mag into the gun, and stepped behind the counter
“How long are you going to take?”
Rainbow looked down the sights, aiming for the target's head. Slowly let a breath out and pulled the trigger. With a loud explosion of the rifle the rainbow haired girl flew backward and slammed her head into a counter behind her.
“Ouch...” Dash rubbed her sore head
Aria pulled her rifle out from under Rainbow's body “Nice stance. You didn't even hit the target hotshot.”
Rainbow jumped to her feet “ Bet I can do it my second time!”
Aria handed her gun back “Fine.”
Rainbow snatched the rifle again, this time grounding herself again. She took aim once more and breathed out again. She pulled the trigger and let the bullet fly through the air. Rainbow gave a short yelp as the scope slammed into her eye.
Aria pressed the target's call button and detached it from the railing “Nice shot there, Dash!”
Rainbow rubbed her quickly darkening eye “Really? Let me see!”
Aria held the target up “His ear is completely gone!”
“Wow.” She enthusiastically accepted the page
Aria broke into laughter “Sonata had a better shot. At least she didn't injure herself! ”Have you even shot a gun before?”
“I used to shoot .22's with my uncle actually.”
“Just let practice a little and I'll be better than all of you combined.”
“Sure, whatever you say.” Aria snorted and returned to the counter
Rainbow shrugged Aria off and exited the range before she got herself shot. She walked back through the hall and into the room she had previously been in. She Adagio had sat herself at the table and enjoyed a cup of tea with it.
“We're done for the day you know.” Adagio mixed her drink slowly
Rainbow scratched her head and flinched away from the bump she had acquired not too long again “Yeah, I know. I just don't have anywhere to be I guess.”
Adagio peeled her eyes away from the book to look at Rainbow “Your friendship magic isn't going to make us friends, we're just co-workers Rainbow.”
Rainbow sighed “Fine, I know when I'm not wanted. I'll go bother Rarity then.”
“Mmm.” she returned her gaze to the book
Sonata looked up from the television to see the Rainbow haired girl exiting through the door “Hey Adagio?”
She let a long sigh before looking away from the book “Yes?”
“I think she was trying to be nice, wasn't she?”
“If you call that nice.”
She rolled over to look ad Adagio “Why can't we try and be nice back?”
She sarcastically raised her voice“Oh yes! Let's just be nice to the person that stripped us of our powers!” Adagio dropped her voice back “I like it no more that Aria does, but if it means that we don't get a hole in our heads then I'm willing to put up with her.”
Sonata looked down in defeat “Okay I guess.”
Adagio dropped her vision back to the book finally reading in peace.
Adagio's eyes cracked open to the sound of the alarm clock, she rolled over and slapped the volume off knocking from the nightstand. With a groan she reached down and retrieved it from the cold ground. Her lips cracked open “It's pay day...”
The siren threw the warm comforter to her feet and quickly shot what remaining warmth she had into her fluffy slippers and wrapped herself with her robe.
With the warmth sealed away, she exited her room into the cold corridor that lead to the living room where Sonata sat already watching cartoons.
“Morning.”
“Mohnin” She munched a piece of toast
Adagio left to the kitchen and began to brew a pot of coffee.
Aria tiredly marched out of the hallway, and dropped herself onto the chair.
“You seem tired.” Adagio noted while pulling two mugs from the cabinet
“Yeah, the possibility of getting shot tends to keep people up.”
“Right. Coffee shouldn't be much longer, and I was able to get groceries.”
“Great, my last meal won't be some crappy Denny's slop, at least I can say that.”
Adagio looked back at aria with a raised eyebrow “I guess you can.” she turned to the fridge and pulled a carton of eggs out to begin breakfast.
“So...” Aria tapped the table “ I go in first and we nab the manager right?”
“If the card isn't there, yes.” Adagio mixed various ingredients into a bowl
“Then it's downhill from there...”
Adagio paused “Not if we don't stick to the plan, so long as the tellers don't trip the alarm, we won't have any trouble.”
“Sure whatever.”
Adagio slid a filled mug to Aria who quickly took it “Don't mess up.”
The three girls arrived at the safe house to Luna had already been working on earpieces at the counter.
“Good Morning, I trust you three slept well.” She said without looking up from her work
Adagio walked up next to her and inspected the plastic “Mostly.”
“Oh, sorry to hear.” She dropped the tiny tool
“What's that?” Sonata tilted her head intrigued
Luna picked the other two communication devices up “They're ear pieces, I'll be able to communicate with you the entire time.”
Adagio grabbed one and fixed it to her ear “Sounds good.”
Luna looked down at her watch “Looks like it's time for our pay day.” She handed the other two girls the earpieces. “You know what to do, get your guns concealed and masks away. I'll get you the thermal drill in the back asap, Dash will be here momentarily.”
“Alright, get on it you two.” Adagio
Luna stopped “Oh before you go, I have a present for you three.”
Sonata sprang into the air, landing next to Luna “Oooh! I love presents! What'dya get?”
Luna pulled three plastic bags containing suits. “I thought you may want to look professional while you work.”
Aria picked up the gray suit “ So I guess the measurements weren't for our coffins?”
“Maybe those too. Depends on the outcome.” Luna snarked
Aria glared at Luna and walked away from the room with Sonata close behind.
“Hmm, Suits?” Adagio inspected the bag containing a brown suit.
“Just had an idea.”
Adagio followed behind her siren sisters down the hallway and quickly changed into their new suits.
Aria dropped the bag filled with her old garb to the floor “Ugh, this seems a bit over the top now.”
“You sure complain a lot Aria.” Adagio fixed her jacket
“Whatever. Lets hurry this up already.”
“W-wait!” Sonata wrongly buttoned her shirt
Aria sighed and helped her “The bags are packed already, yours is in the range.”
“Thanks.”
Adagio stepped out the room and approached the range, she heard the sound of the getaway driver arriving upstairs. The siren grabbed her bag then opened it to double check it's contents. Satisfied she zipped it closed.
“ There you are.” Luna walked through the door. “Come on, everyone else is waiting.”
Adagio nodded and followed behind her.
“We finally going???” Rainbow tapped her foot
Luna stepped aside “Yes, it's finally that time.”
“So everyone is getting all dressed up I guess?”
Aria inspected her nails “The boss thought it would be cute.”
Luna sighed “Yes, that. Anyway, Rainbow, you know where the Harvest & Trustee is. I'll leave her to escort you there. I'll remain here and watch over you girls through hacked cameras, and giving you intel as the mission progresses.”
“Alright then. Let's stop wasting time and get going.” Adagio walked out the door with the three girls following behind.
Rainbow Dash turned down the alley “There's a garage in the back, Lets go.”
The sirens followed the athlete's trail to a large metal door. She stopped and quickly punched in a code that engaged a loud motor that began to lift the door. A dark blue van with a rainbow lightning bolt poorly painted onto the side.
Rainbow extended her arm towards the shabby vehicle sitting within the garage“May I introduce you to the most awesomest van in the world!”
Aria walked around the van sarcastically inspecting it “ Nice ride.”
“Thanks. I a few touches on myself.” Rainbow Dash ignored her sarcasm
Adagio pulled the back doors open “Did you honestly put your high school sports medals in here?”
“Just a few. Hope you don't mind.” Rainbow climbed into the driver seat “Now lets get goin already!”
The three climbed into the back leaning away from the decorations littered across the walls. Rainbow turned the key inside the ignition letting a loud roar echo through the alley before the screeching of tires propelled the van out into the street. Aria glared at the golden awards in different sports like soccer, baseball, and many others. Her gaze along with Adagios finally landed on a first place medal with an engraving of “Battle of the Bands” across it. Her eyes met Adagio's whom also began to grit her teeth in rage.
“If she opens her big mouth one more god damn time I'm going to shoot her.” Aria hissed
Adagio stared back at her for a second almost agreeing with her “Not yet.”
“You guys mind if I play one of my band's songs? I think you mi-...” Rainbow cupped her hand over her mouth
Adagio let out a deep sigh “No.”
Rainbow laughed awkwardly “Uh, yeah... Sorry.”
“Just get us to the bank before I lose it, got it?” Aria leaned against her seat.
The snow crunched beneath the girl's shoes and they exited the Van. Adagio looked up at the sky to see few rays of sunshine passing through the cloudy sky.
“You girls make it?” Luna's voice sounded through their ears
“We're here. The heist starts now.” Adagio replied
“Good, this branch bank is ready for the taking, let's do this!”
Adagio looked at Sonata who began playing with the snow “SONATA!”
She jumped to her feet quickly facing her leader.
“Go get that drill.” adagio pointed “It should be in the back parking lot.”
“I'll go get that card.” Aria exited the alley
“Let's go.” Adagio and Sonata followed behind Aria
The twin tailed siren walked through the front door ignoring the greetings of a security guard. She began walking calmly across the lobby taking note of the safe beside the teller's office. She picked her pace up and passed another guard to reach the loan offices. Aria curved her path to avoid an aggravated civilian who began shouting about the loan return rates. She backed up as a security guard briskly walked towards to grasp the man's arm so that he may begin “escorting” him out of the bank. The girl's eyes fell on the glass walled room, overlooking the loan offices, she began walking again after watching a man forcibly dragged away giving her satisfied grin. The open door begged her to slip inside, stopping once her eye's fell upon the blue and white card laying on the desk.
“We're in position, Sonata's picking the lock already. How's the key card coming?” Adagio radioed Aria
The girl continued into the office “I'm here Adagio.” she grinned as her eyes fell onto the blue and white plastic card on the desk “Card is here too.”
“Great. The back door is just about to open.”
Aria exited the room, making sure to not cause suspicion as she passed yet another guard to stairwell.
She saw a metal door by the entrance“Alright, masks on.” She whispered to herself sliding a plastic skull face mask over her head. Aria slid the card into the reader letting a beep acknowledging the acceptance of the card.
The metal door swung open to reveal an unsuspecting guard shoveling Cheetos into his mouth. Aria crept up closely behind him as he sucked the cheesy dust from his fingers sending a sickened chill throughout her body/
“Take that guard out Aria.” Luna commanded
She raised the butt of her rifle high into the air and quickly swung it down into his head with a loud crack. His limp body fell off the chair onto the cold ground while the bag scattered across the floor.
Aria's stomach dropped as she quickly grabbed the activated pager “Uh yeah, everything's a uh four uh a four twenty here control!”
A few seconds passed before a response was made “Uhh, yeah... That checks out. You have a good one now.”
Aria exhaled deeply wiping a bead of sweat from her brow while she dropped into the rolling chair the guard had been sitting on.
She turned to the sound of a thud coming from down the hallway. The Siren quickly aimed the rifle into the door frame awaiting another guard/
Sonata rolled into the room carrying a large orange bag with Adagio casually walking in.
“Excuse the wait. Sonata wanted to find the drill first, and then she wanted to pick the lock herself and fail at it more times than should be possible.” Adagio carried a frustrated tone in her voice before dragging out a Spider mask.
Sonata poked her fingers together “I just wanted to do it so bad!”
Aria cupped her hand over her sister's mouth “Keep your voice down, we still have three guards to take care of!”
Sonata nodded and pretended to zip her mouth closed prompting an annoyed scowled from both Aria and Adagio.
“I'll go to the roof and scout out ahead.” Adagio twisted a long cylinder onto her pistol “Sonata...” She sighed “Don't act dumb.”
Aria smirked “Stay quiet and keep this door closed. If anyone besides us shows up shoot them.”
She sank into the seat then dug a small pistol out of her own bag “I really hope I don't have to.”
“Then stay quiet.” Aria ducked out of the security room and to the back exit.
Adagio slowly stepped up the stairs and reached the roof entry door to see a man with a leather vest casually smoking a cigarette at the edge. He exhaled one last time leaving a cloud of condensation and tar in the air around him before tossing the spent carcinogens to the floor. She saw the manager begin to turn, she quickly brought her aim at his head.
The man froze as Adagio glared behind her mask “Don't move.”
He raised his now shaking hands into the air before kneeling into the frozen powder beneath him. She quickly pulled a zip tie from out of the bag and bound his hands together. “Come on, let's go inside, you'll freeze out here.”
Adagio heard the groaning of a man down the stairs “ I swear to god if he left the roof access open again...” She quickly pushed the man beside the stairwell entrance and leaned against the wall to await the guard. The man exhaled a warm breath into his hands and rubbed them together as he walked out into the snow filled roof.
Adagio aimed her slick metal gun at the back of the man's head. Her finger reached around the trigger, gripping the cold metal. The bullet flew out of the barrel and into his head, letting a small red mist kick away from his head.
Luna's voice buzzed through the earpiece “Get that pager Adagio!”
She crouched down and grabbed the plastic speaker whining for a response. “Yeah ,I just slid on some ice so I hit the button. Everything's alright. No need to worry.”
The man answered back with skepticism “Uh-huh... Right...” A few clicks of a keyboard the man responded “Yep, all clear. Protocol n' everything. Sorry.”
She sighed and turned back to the Manager “Let's go.” Adagio yanked his shirt. “Sonata, I'm coming in, unlock the door and get your mask on. We've got a hostage.”
The manager stood shaking as the door clicked and creaked open. Sonata backed away from the door letting Adagio push the man into the room. She wore a white paper plate mask decorated with glitter and crayon.
Adagio groaned “What the hell are you wearing?”
“I made it!” She giggled proudfully
Adagio shoved the manager to the floor “Stay there and don't even think about making a sound.” She turned back to Sonata “We were given two hundred dollars and you make a paper plate mask?”
“Yep!”
She sighed “Whatever. We have two more guards to take care of.”
Aria radioed in “Got another one. He was roaming out back. Last one is in the bank.”
Adagio pressed the button on her radio “ If we work quickly, we can take the back rooms and then rush the building with our guns forcing everyone down.”
“Might work.”
Adagio pulled a plastic device out of her bag “I got my hands on this thing... Luna called a EMC Jammer. I apologize Luna.”
She sighed “Well you have it now. Might as well use it. Unless you've changed any of the settings I've used, then you should be able to activate it immediately. All you do is press the button on the side.”
Adagio rolled the plastic box around in her hands “Seems easy enough.”
“Alright, I'm outside the back entrance. Let's try your plan Adagio.”
She readied the plastic box in her hand while she sprinted out into the back offices and quickly targeted the security guard. The guard stepped back and quickly reached for his pistol, but was stopped by Adagio's pistol slamming into his throat. She pulled the trigger as he fell to the ground and tossed out the jammer.
She stood up again pressing the button on her radio “Aria now!” The siren turned to the bystanders and aimed her gun “Down. Now.” three men and two women dropped to the floor instantly. Adagio pulled a stack of zip ties from her pouch and quickly bound the five's hands together.
Adagio's earpiece picked up Aria's voice “Tellers are down. Help get the rest of the hostages Sonata.”
Sonata crept out of the hallway and looked at the cowering hostages on the floor carefully avoiding them.
“Hurry up, we don't have all day!” Aria shouted at Sonata
A lump formed in the back of her throat as she knelt down to tie a woman's hands. Her shaking hand reached into her bag as she found the plastic ties, she yanked them out of her bag. The last tie hooked onto the trigger of the pistol making it fly out. Aria turned to the flying weapon as it arched towards the ground. An untied man jumped to his feet and attempted to sprint out the door. At the same time the cold metal of the gun clanked onto the floor, and at the same time forcing the weapon to fire. The loud explosion sent a bullet flying out of the barrel down the lobby where the man was fleeing out of. A spray of blood shot out of his head, painting the entryway with his essence.
Aria and Sonata stared speechless.
Adagio ran to the lobby after hearing the screams of the hostages “What happened?!?”
Tears flowed out of her eyes “I- I didn't mean to!”
“This dip ass over here though it was a good idea to alert everyone in the world...” Aria slid her hand under the mask to pinch the bridge of her nose.
“The plan is blown! Cops are on their way in one minute. Get that drill going and get to cover now!” Luna commanded
Adagio grabbed the pistol from the ground and pulled Sonata to her feet staring into her eyes “ Get the drill, You're the only one who knows how to use it correctly.”
Sonata put on a tough face after wiping the tears from her eyes “Okay!” She ran to the back.
“Aria, close that back door and start moving the hostages behind the counter.” Adagio commanded. Her ally nodded and began working. Adagio pulled the entrance doors closed and locked them, then dragged the nearby ATM machines to create a barricade. She shot the locks off the sides and retrieved the loose money within.
“The drill's up!” Sonata shouted from the back room.
Adagio grabbed two hostages and began leading them behind the counter“Good, now lock the back door. We have to keep them out as long as we can.”
“Cops in bound!” Luna shouted through the radios “Prepare yourselves.”
The wail of police cars surrounding the premises grew louder until the building was completely surrounded. An officer pulled out of his vehicle with a megaphone, he took cover behind the squad car and pointed the tool at the building “We've got the place surrounded! Come out with your hands up!”
“I'll handle this.” Aria said readying her rifle
Adagio placed her palm over the barrel “Take aim, but don't fire until I give the signal.”
She shrugged clicking the safety off and activating the single shot setting. She knelt down beside the entrance awaiting the signal.
The static of the megaphone sounded again “You've got TEN seconds to comply!”
Aria mumbled some insult under her breath while Adagio took refuge opposite Aria's position “Sonata, what's the timer on the drill?”
“Ten minutes!” Her panicked voice called back
“Damn. Aria, we've gotta hold out until then. Don't take any risks.” Adagio twisted the silencer off her gun, and placed it back into her bag then retrieving a clone of her current pistol.
“Got it.”
“YOU HAVE FIVE SECONDS TO COMPLY!!!”
“FOUR!”
“THREE!”
“TWO!”
“ONE!”
Both girl's stomach's dropped as Aria jumped out of cover, taking aim at the officer and pulling the trigger in an instant.
The officer fell to his knees with a hole clean through his head. The remaining officers began firing at the bank's entrance, shattering the previously cracked glass doors. The girls turned and shielded her eyes from the glass shower and rain off bullets.
Another officer took over “CEASE FIRE! YOU'LL HIT CIVILIANS!” The sounds of handguns reloading replaced the defining gunshots. “Prepare to take the bank!”
Luna called in “Don't get yourselves cornered. And please don't let them near the thermal drill!”
A silver can flew from the window, clanging onto the floor, an explosion of smoke instantly filled the lobby. “FALLBACK!” Adagio screamed beginning to run to the printer room across the lobby. Aria took refuge inside the teller line to keep the hostages.
Aria looked up through the smoke to see two shadowed figures of men with firearms at the ready opposite the reinforced window. She aimed the rifle through the slot and switched the rapid fire. They got closer to the counter and Aria squeezed the trigger, dropping both policemen instantly while forcing screams from a few civilians.
Adagio saw the flash of the rifle drop the two shadows causing a smile to escape her lips. She turned around seeing three policemen charging through the broken back door. The men sprinted through the offices and dropped down the drill, one of them knelt down and began to fiddle with the display. Adagio jumped out of cover shooting one of the policemen in the knee, forcing him to the ground, then blasting the other stunned cops through the head. She passed over to the crippled officer onto the ground and released another bullet through his head before checking it drill.
Rainbow Dash shouted “I gotta get outta here, it's too hot! I'll be back soon!”
Adagio cursed under her breath, a high pitched whine emitted from the drill “Sonata, quick, I think they stopped the drill!”
Sonata rolled away from the desk she was hiding under and scurried across the floor to Adagio “They turned it off!”
Adagio ducked away from the cop's fire “Well turn it back on! I'll cover you!” Adagio unloaded her pistols down the hallway, piling a group of police officers in the hallway.
Sonata scurried through her bags to find a flint lighter and frantically began trying to spark the machine. The drill reignited and began drilling a hole back into the metal, Sonata crawled back into the printer room then back beneath the table.
“Wow, they're backing off!” Luna sighed “ Don't let up, they're definitely stepping up their game.”
Aria backed into the room firing a few rounds at fleeing officers “One hostage got shot in the shoulder by a cop.” she chuckled
A blue grenade sailed through the air clanging on the ground near Aria and Adagio's feet, it released a blinding white light and a deafening bang. Both girls stumbled backwards rubbing their eyes while two armor clad swat units charged through the front gate.
Sonata poked head out from the under the table and saw the two climb through the shattered glass doors.
One of the officers pointed to the blinded girls “Suspects in sight!”
Sonata's heart began racing after seeing their rifles aim towards her incapacitated sisters. Time froze as the girl jumped out of the room and slid through the doorway on her stomach readying her pistol. She squeezed the trigger letting loose a bullet that tore through the man's thigh. She aimed at the other unit, unleashing three bullets, two were blocked by the chest piece, and the last bore into the man's neck, making him fall to his knees and gripping his profusely bleeding neck.
The first officer brought up his rifle again, shaking from the trauma of the bullet, he fired a burst of shots that whizzed past the sirens.
The blinding effect wore off, letting Adagio return fire to the unit. She unleashed a fury, tearing through his helmet and into his skull.
Sonata sprang to her feet embracing her sisters in a hug “I saved you guys!!!”
Aria grimaced and pushed her away. She turned and fired at another officer rounding the teller's office. “Okay, maybe you're not completely terrible Sonata.”Aria yanked Sonata back under cover.
“Alright, Aria, cover the side door behind the teller line, Sonata protect your drill, I'll be out here.”
Adagio stood up and sprayed covering fire for her sirens to depart under.
Luna spoke into the radio “They've got this place under snipers. I advise not going outside until they are dealt with. The drill's down again too, go fix it!”
“I got it!” Sonata said after a few shots were heard
A muffled voice outside roared over the swat units “BULLDOZER TIME! HAHAHA!!!”
“My God!” Luna shouted “They have something going on outside!”
Adagio dropped another group of officers and dropped down under cover to reload “What is it?”
Luna zoomed the security camera out to a large man in a black bodysuit. “He has an EOD suit. And a plate over his face! How is he even seeing?”
Aria knelt down beside Adagio “I'll take care of him.”
“Aria don't. Stick with Adagio, don't take any risks.”
Adagio leered into her eyes “She's right, we don't need any injuries slowing us down.”
She sighed and rolled her eyes “Fine.”
The man kicked the fallen ATMs out of his path with ungodly strength “Dozer in the house!” his allied swat units jumped out of his path when he started carelessly unloading an automatic shotgun down the lobby.
The wooden island the girls were hiding behind began to give way under the rapid fire of his shotgun.
“Shit! What the hell is he using?!?” Aria shielded her head
Adagio looked around the corner and fired a few rounds at the plate only to have sparks fly off.
“YOU'VE GOT NO CHANCE!” He continued walking and spraying his gun
“Damn, my weapons aren't going to get through.” Adagio looked down at her pistol
Aria rolled out of cover once the wave of shells stopped and unloaded her magazine into the face plate. The bullets mimicked Adagio's, flying in all directions again.
The Dozer stumbled backwards, but still remained unscathed “Bitch!”
Aria backed into the printer room and reloaded her rifle. Adagio followed behind her “I have a plan...”
“What is it?” Aria fired more rounds out of the room and ducked back before the Dozer could hit her.
Adagio pulled a grenade out of her bag and yanked the pin out of it. “Stand back.” She loosed her grip and began counting she hit five and tossed it towards the approaching law man.
“CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON-” A grenade bounced off his face and detonated inches in front of him, knocking him to the floor.
Adagio ran out accurately taking down the stunned swat officers quickly. The Dozer lay on the floor with a broken faceplate. Aria jumped onto him and started to blast him point blank, destroying his visor in a few shots, leaving his face exposed after a few seconds. Aria stood up, the bloody soup settled inside the helmet
“They're backing off again.” Luna sighed “Didn't think you had it for a second. Anyway the drill should be through pretty soon, and so will the next wave. Don't let up, you're almost there. We need four bags, but if you can do more...”
Sonata walked into the lobby and picked up the fallen Dozer's shotgun and stuffed her bags with the shell magazines“Let's get as many as we can Adagio!”
Adagio let out a small laugh “Looks like you're finally in it Sonata.”
“Yup!” She posed enthusiastically with her new gun
“Looks like that drill's through. Go see our our loot!” Luna said
The girls walked through the eerily silent bank and pulled the heavy metal door open and revealed mountains of neatly stacked cash.
The girls stared in awe. The stack of bills seemed to sparkle under the sole dim vault light. Aria shook off her hypnotism and swiped a stack off the table into a sports bag.
Dash spoke through the radio “I'll be there in twenty seconds. Get to the back alley.”
Adagio and Aria hauled completely full bags each while Sonata hauled two. They fought off officers while they moved to the back.
“Remember watch for Snipers.” Luna warned before they stepped outside
Aria looked out the door and scoped the rooftops quickly. A red beam trailed down over Aria's arms, and a loud explosion sent a bullet whistling past Aria's head into the concrete. She snapped her rifle up to the roof and returned a burst of fire nailing the marksman through the head multiple times.
“Hurry up! I'm over here!” Rainbow shouted out of the alleyway.
Aria quickened her pace while ducking under the gunfire. She took the bag off and threw it into the back.
Aria laid down more suppressing fire into the swarm of police, taking down a cluster. Adagio pulled sonata with her as she ran across the street. Sonata and Adagio threw theirs into the back as well and readied themselves to sprint back to the bank again.
“That's four bags. You've still got a few more back in the bank, but if things get rough you can escape at any time.”
“We're getting every bag Luna!” Sonata cheered, and proceeded to jump out of cover rapidly unleashing shells down the street.
“Sonata careful!” Adagio ran after her, unloading a pistol in the process.
Sonata sprinted to the back door, and right before she entered a super high pitched wail screamed through the wall. She slid through the door to see a man wearing night vision goggles, and a gray camouflage uniform running full speed towards her. She pulled her shotgun up as he propelled himself into Sonata feet first. She yanked the trigger several times in quick succession sending him flying backwards into the wall.
Sonata ripped the magazine out of her gun and tossed the spent cartridge at the dead officer then turned to the other girls “Lets go already!”
Aria gave a slight chuckle when she saw Sonata covered in blood, while still smiling brightly. “So much for not wanting to hurt anyone...”
Adagio pushed past Aria and then past Sonata to continue down the hall “ Yes, it's good that we are all working as a team now.” She stopped to fire down the offices “Now can we please just move these bags?!?”
Sonata cocked her head to the side “Oh, right.”
Aria followed behind the other two, turning around and firing at the swarming police.
The girls shoveled the last of the cash into their bags and readied themselves to rush to the van one last time. Aria stepped out of the safe and dropped a charging officer with a clean head shot. Sonata sprinted out, not paying any mind to the bullets whistling past her. She blasted the swarming police with the auto shotgun, sending them flying away.
“Sonata! Let's go!” Adagio stole Sonata's attention away from her spree
Sonata frowned and reluctantly followed.
Aria paused at the exit again to search for snipers, she scanned the rooftops quickly. “Clea-”
A SWAT unit had rounded the corner and landed a single bullet into Aria's leg. Adagio reacted quickly and returned a bullet through his skull.
“FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!! SON OF A BITCH!!! GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!!!” Aria fell to the ground and held her hands over the profusely bleeding hole in her thigh. She continued spouting incoherent curse words
Adagio ran to her side “ Shit, we don't have time for this!” Adagio hooked Aria's arm over her shoulder
Aria lifted herself to her feet with Adagio's help, and began to hobble alongside her while Sonata began covering their retreat.
Rainbow Dash swung open her door and ran to their side “Jeeze! That's gotta hurt!” She grabbed Aria's arm and help slide her into the back of the van.
Aria's teeth clenched as hard as she could while she glared at Rainbow with insatiable rage.
“Sonata, let's bail.” Adagio jumped into the van
Rainbow ran to the the driver's seat and immediately began to burn the tires into the ground.

Dash swung the wheel of the van swinging the huge metal behemoth into a ninety degree turn onto the streets.
“YEAHAHA!!!” Rainbow screamed while the engine roared
Sonata dug through her bag and brought out a box of Hello Kitty Band-Aids “I got some Band-Aids Aria!”
Aria grit her teeth a glared at Sonata with fire in her eyes “You honestly think a stupid, tiny Band-Aid is going to stop a bullet wound?!?”
“I don't know! Maybe?” Sonata sulked
Adagio cut a piece of long cloth from her coat and began tying it around Aria's leg. “The bullet hit the bone. We'll have to surgically remove it later.”
“We have to cut her leg off?!?” Sonata gasped
Aria groaned “ The bullet you idiot!”
“Guess we don't have our invulnerability anymore...” Adagio sighed
“I figured.” Aria leaned back in the seat.
“But I used to get cuts all the time! Even when we had our gems!”
“Because you weren't in any severe bodily harm Sonata, your gem never needed to exert itself to protect you.” Adagio explained
“They've got snipers lined up all along the rooftops!” Luna warned
Rainbow pressed the gas harder “Then let's make us hard to hit! Buckle up everyone!!!”
The van swayed before another loud crack whizzed past the vehicle. Red lines streaked through the windshield. Few shots hit the van, leaving a crack in the windshield while others pierced the body.
“Almost to the escape route.” Rainbow swerved around a corner after hearing sirens in the distance.
“Cops on your tail. You gotta deal with them girls.”
“Got it.” Adagio kicked the doors open to see two police cruisers tailing behind them.
One of the policemen inside shouted into their loudspeaker “PULL OVER!”
“Like hell we will!” Aria shot a round out of her rifle, passing through the windshield and splattering the officer's skull inside the car, causing it to swerve into a flower shop.
The other cruiser started returning fire.
Adagio began firing back, blowing the tires in the front.
Rainbow swung the van into another sharp turn “Awww yeah! We're in the clear!”
Aria sighed and leaned against the chair “I just want to go home...”
Adagio pulled the doors closed “It won't be much longer.”
The van swerved, slamming Adagio into her seat.
“GAH!” A bullet pierced through Rainbow's arm, she jerked the wheel to the left. She slammed on the brakes and tried to turn the wheel right again. The car's weight shifted to the front right tire, breaking it's suspension and dropping the van onto it's side. It began to roll, tossing the girls around the cargo space.
Rainbow held her pounding head “GOD DAMMIT! I've never crashed in my life!”
Adagio peeled her eyes open and gripped her bruised arm “What happened?!?”
“Damn sniper hit me!” Rainbow stuffed a rag into the hole on her arm
Aria rolled onto her back “We're so fucking dead...”
“You'll be fine! I'm on the way, just hold out for five minutes!” Luna slammed her headset into the table.
Adagio kicked the doors off their broken hinges and crawled out “We have to get to cover.” She pulled Aria to her feet “Take the bags to that park across the street.”
Rainbow climbed to her feet “You're still concerned with the stupid money?!?”
Sonata pulled a bag up “This is ours now! They can't take it away!”
Aria tossed a bag at her “Yeah, now get moving or we'll leave you here.”
She reluctantly caught the bag “Fine. Give me your gun then!”
Aria glared at her “No! This one's mine!”
Adagio sighed “Just take this one.”
Police sirens began to creep echo around the dead silent streets.
Adagio supported Aria as they hobbled their way to the park across the street. Dash dropped the bag near the base. Sonata dropped the two she was carrying and rubbed the pain from her shoulder.
Adagio dropped her sister underneath a stone statue of a man “Watch these bags.”
Aria clicked the safety off “Got it.”
The swat parked their vans on every street surrounding them from all sides. Officers swarmed to cover and began firing on the girls.
An officer sprinted ahead of them then shouted “DON'T LET THEM ESCAPE!!!”
Aria sent a bullet through his skull, signaling the fire to divert onto her location. She rolled onto her stomach and began to fire at the units approaching the sidewalk.
Dash climbed the steps with a a bag in toe “We're surrounded!”
“Yeah, we got that.” Adagio threw her bag at the statue base.
“We can't waste any more time.” Adagio pointed her pistol to the street, and dropped a unit charging into the park “Let's get those last three bags
Sonata pumped her fist “Okay!!!”
Dash's face filled with horror “Why are you so eager to get shot?!?”
Aria tossed a spent magazine at the police “We've been living off that disgusting slop, you people call food.
Dash laughed awkwardly “Uh, I guess.”
Adagio pushed past Rainbow, advancing in cover back to the crashed truck. Sonata followed after while laying down more suppressing fire with her shotgun.
“They're going to try to repossess the bags.” Adagio ducked under a barrage of rounds
Rainbow cowered behind the stone walls “I don't wanna get shot again.”
The lead siren jumped out of cover, and took down five units with clean head shots in quick succession “Sonata let's go!”
Sonata nodded then cocked her weapon.
Adagio ran down the steps, taking cover behind an abandoned squad car. She turned to the blue girls and beckoned them to follow.
Sonata leaped down the stone stairs and scampered out to the street. “Gah!” Sonata's toes kicked the curb sending her flying onto the cold asphalt. The gun slammed onto the floor, setting it off and shooting the officer whom was hiding on the other side of the squad car. The officer fell to the ground screaming while trying to push the few strips of flesh holding his foot onto his body.
“How many times are you going to do that?” Adagio sighed
Sonata brushed off her suit pouting at her “It's not my fault!”
“Let's hurry this up already!” Rainbow leaned herself on the squad car behind Sonata.
Adagio picked up a discarded clip and tossed it into the street, bullets instantly showered down upon it. She released a long sigh and spun around, grounding her pistol on top of the car's hood, She pulled the trigger, accurately dispatching several officers. Adagio dropped the spent clip to the ground, and reached for the last one on her waist.
Adagio yanked the slide backwards “I'm running dry, has anyone heard back from Luna yet?”
Sonata quietly shook her head “Have you tried taking the ammo from the dead ones?”
Adagio grimaced “I'm not touching a dead human, let alone a live one.”
She pulled the fallen officer's pistol and handed Adagio a cartridge happily.
Adagio groaned and slapped the clip from her hand “It's not the same type of gun either Sonata!”
“O-oh...” Her smile faded away
“I'm on my way!” Luna's voice returned to the radio, partially obscured by a loud chopping sound.
Adagio pressed the button to respond “Luna? Where are you?”
A few seconds passed before the radio cracked back on again “I got a chopper. I'll be on you in five minutes.”
Sonata gasp “A chopper!?! I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO FLY IN ONE!!!”
“Yeah, a chopper is cool. Let's focus on not getting shot.” Rainbow rolled her eyes
The lead siren looked over the squad car again “We're clear.” She ducked her head and ran to the tipped vehicle. Adagio pulled a lightly torn bag from the wreckage and tossed it to her accomplices.
Another laser trailed through the street, landing on her head.
Sonata sprang her feet as hard as she could, sending her flying through the air “LOOK OUT!”
The rifle cracked, sending metal flying through the air. Sonata slammed into Adagio, sending them flying into the truck.
Sonata placed her hand over her chest and sighed “That was too close!”
Adagio pushed herself to her knees “Ahem, thanks.” she turned around and faced Sonata “Y-your hair Sonata.”
“What's wrong with it?” She brushed her hands over her hair. Her stomach dropped while her lungs failed her as she tried to scream. She picked up her severed ponytail and hugged it while tears began streaming down her face. She dropped her hair and wiped the tears from her face. She breathed in deeply and closed her eyes. Her eyes shot open with fire burning inside them.
She jumped out of the van with her Shotgun readied “I'LL KILL YOU ALL!!!”
She slowly walked towards the police and began unloading an endless stream of shells onto them. The red laser shinned over her head, drawing her attention to the rooftop. It cracked again towards Sonata, but she jerked her head to the left dodging it at the last second. She aimed her weapon back at the sniper and sent multiple waves of shells towards him.
The body fell from the roof and onto the cold concrete. The impact sent blood flying in every direction, splattering onto the officers nearby. A dark laughter boiled inside her causing the police to begin fleeing from the sadistic girl.
Adagio broke her focus “Sonata. Move bags. Now.”
She spun around smiling again “Kay!” she ran to the van and pulled a bag over her shoulder
Adagio tossed a bag over to Rainbow Dash, who was frozen in shock.
Sonata heaved the full bag up the steps and dropped it next to Aria.
“Nice haircut!” Aria managed to choke out between her laughter.
Sonata knelt down and lightly pressed her bullet wound with her thumb, instantly coaxing a wail of pain from her. She glared into her eyes “Don't.”
Rainbow and Adagio climb the steps, pulling the last three bags to the statue.
“I'm over you now! Get ready!” Luna radioed them
The chopper slowly descended over the staircase, perfectly allowing them to board.
“Let's go!” Luna threw the door open
Adagio helped her wounded ally to her feet and to the chopper, while Sonata and Dash stuffed the bags into the chopper.
Luna pushed the throttle up sending the plane into the skies “I saw no police choppers in the sky, so we can head straight to the safe house.”
Dash climbed into the cockpit and eyed over every dial and switch inside it while beginning to drool from awe “Where'd you get a Chopper from?”
“I had a long discussion with the man at the aircraft graveyard.”
“How much?”
Luna coughed “He was very stubborn about not selling it. So I, ahem, stole it.”
“Won't that draw more attention to us?” Adagio stuffed her mask into her bag.
Luna began the chopper's decent “Don't worry, I have connections.”
Sonata threw her mask onto the floor and glared out the window.
“Take me to a hospital already...” Aria pulled the ends of her makeshift bandage tighter.
Adagio sighed “We can't. They'd figure out you were part of the bank heist.”
“Well then what am I supposed to do?” Aria motioned to her leg
Luna touched down in the tight open ally behind the building. She threw the door open and grabbed Aria under her arm “The emergency doors are deactivated. Adagio, help me get her inside.” Luna headed towards the slightly rusted door.
They traveled down a flight of stairs down into the safe house.
Luna dropped Aria on the table and began fishing out equipment from the nearby drawers. She pulled a glass bottle of whiskey out and dropped it on the table next to Aria with a glass “Drink up.”
She cringed “You humans drink pure poison you know.”
“Drink it or don't. We don't have any real anesthetics here.” Luna splashed alcohol on a pair of forceps.
She sighed and poured the tiny glass with the brown liquid. She raised it to her eyes and inspected it. She pressed it to her lips and chugged it down in two gulps “Ugh god that's horrible.” Luna filled the glass again, and prompted to her finish the second glass.
She cut the bandage off and carefully pulled it away from the tender tissue underneath. “Bite down on this.” Luna handed her a spoon wrapped in a towel.
Aria placed it in her mouth, and shut her eyes for the trauma she was about to endure.
Luna readied her forceps over the hole, while gripping Aria's leg tightly “Don't move.”
“FUCK, FUCK, FUCK FUCK!!!” she failed to hold back tears while Luna dug into her flesh.
“I almost got it. Breathe or you'll pass out.” blood welled out of the hole. She gripped the foreign metal and yanked it out causing another array of profanity from Aria. Luna splashed more alcohol onto the wound generating more howls of agony from her.
Aria's breath became shallow as Luna soaked the blood with a clean towel. She poured the glass again and slid it to Aria “Drink.” she quickly downed the liquor without complaint. Luna reached for a the needle and metallic wire. She stabbed it into her skin and began threading her skin closed.
She tied the ends closed and patted Aria on the shoulder “ Good to go.”
Aria threw herself back onto the table trying to calm her breathing back to normal, with her elbow over her eyes.
Sonata and Rainbow carried the last two bags inside, Dash pumped her fist “WE JUST GOT AWAY WITH THEFT! THAT'S SO AWESOME!!!”
Luna washed the blood from her hands “Yes we did. You can all have two bags now.”
Dash scuttled her feet and pulled a bundle out to count it.
“What about you?” Adagio questioned
“I can't take any. It'll draw suspicion.” Luna wiped her hands off.
She walked across the room, and placed Aria's bags onto the table beside her. She looked at the exhausted group and smiled. “Just don't go thinking this is your first Pay Day though.”
“You mean we're going to have to go back?” Adagio gasped
“Lots of people are going to see what you did, and some might just like it.” Luna smiled
“I'm totally in!” Dash puffed her chest out confidently
Sonata still sulked on the couch “I guess...”
Aria remained silent on the table.
Adagio looked Luna in the eyes smiling “We're in.”
