Byzantine Power

When Luna woke up she was in a long hallway, decorated with tall arches ever 7 or so meters. Art of the sun and moon decorating the walls.

The princess of the moon looked around ”Better start looking for her” She started staggering towards the first door she could see. She looked up to the letters on the doors.

”Library”

”huh, probably in there” She was about to open the door when she heard voice from inside

”...nk you for your generosity and on behalf of all romans i thank you.” came a familiar voice

”It’s a pleasure making agreements with you Empress, but i must be getting back to the embassy to pass your message along.” Came a distinctly ruff voice, most likely from a stallion

Luna heard hoofsteps in her direction and hid behind one of the arches.

The doors open and a creature similar to Twilight’s description of a human steps out. ”Damn that favour” it mutters under it’s breath and walks away in the other direction.

Before the doors could close again Luna snuck into the library, stepping into the shadows. The library was huge, with books covering absolutely every single wall. And every single wall goin up into the shadown of the celeing. On one said of the room was a lit brick fireplace with a mound of pillows, a table, and a couple of chairs. On said pillows was a very large familiar purple alicorn.

The purple alicorn sighed ”goddamn americans...” she uttered loudlyand seemingly faceplanted into the pillows.

Luna braved out of the shadows. ”Twilight?” she called out quietly.

The alicorn’s ears turned to her direction before the face of the alicorn emerged. ”Luna?..” came the very soft reply.

”So empress huh, you’ve done well for yourself.” Luna said with a smirk.

”Luna... you...came...”

”Yes it’s really me, no-”

”At the worst godamn time possible.” followed by a large grunt and a new faceplant into the pillows.

”Well that’s not very nice” Luna said with a frown as she walked over and sat down on one of the pillows. ”So, you gonna welcome me to your ’Empire’ so to speak or should we talk about what you actually did.

Twilight looked up and positivly GLARED at Luna ”Fine then.” she stood up to full height ”Welcome to the Byzantine Empire! You’re Highness. The empire i’ve ruled close to fourteen HUNDRED years now.
