The sun, shining, lit up on the very sky. Princess Luna basked in the raw energy that nourished the earth with so much light. She didn't need skin ointment or any powerful scented candle. All she had was the power of the sun currently bleaching her skin. Next to her was Pip, her favorite little colt, strapped to a beach chair by leather belts, wailing in agony. Luna smiled gleefully at her skin burning to a crisp, she never felt so much ungodly pain in her entire existence. It was also quite hard to breath in the empty expanse of space, but she new this would make her disciple grow strong.

"Ah! Isn't this a wonderful time for a suntan! My sister sure has a powerful star, right Pip?" said Luna as her skin flaked off her body.

"Aaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuugggghh!!!!." screamed Pip while his feet suddenly caught on fire.

"That's the spirit my little disciple! Look were nearing the suns outer rays!", Luna closed her eyes as the sun basically vaporized them both. Their corpses turning into black mulch and soot. Pip opened his eyes and found himself sweating from shock. Feeling so scared, he barely noticed who cradled his little body.

"Hi Pip, how did you enjoy the... trip?" she said smiling gleefully. "Oh my! are you scared my dear? Well you did say you wanted to follow me wherever I go?"

"I-I didn't think we were going to the sun, Princess." said Pip shakily, a sweat dropped from his brow.

"Well, don't saddle just yet, we have much more fun to be had."

"Were a-a-re we going now, P-p-princess?", Pip shook his little body in fear. First the burning power of the sun, and now more, what could possibly be next?

Luna patted him on the head, the comfort calmed the frightened colt.

"Someplace you know, Ponyville!", Pip gave a deep sigh, his fears swayed by something familiar and less hot.
