Three Friends, OC story
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe bright yellow sun shined upon the horizon. Past the green trees that extended deep throughout the landscape, there sat a large protruding hill that was perfect for viewing the sunset as it lowered down from the highest in the sky. No doubt Celestia was lowering the sun and it was quite a view to experience it first hand. Upon this steep hill sat three stallions, watching the sun lower down from the celestial goddesses own magic. On the far right sat a marine blue unicorn with a wavy mane and tail that dripped down from him that looked akin to a rushing waterfall. In the middle of the triplet was a red-colored pegasus with an orange mane that was cut short into a fuzz, his tail was curved and defied gravity. And finally, there was a yellow earth pony with a green mane that stretched back into a pony tail, his tail was tightened into a ball with a white ribbon.
This is their story.
Traveling down from the village to come here sure brought so many memories. So many times we hanged around deep in the forest to escape the trivialities of school and family problems. I miss the times when they would call out my name.
Clarity come on your gonna miss the sunset!
Hurry, Clarity, your so slow as always
Yea, those were the times. No care in the world or anything in particular to worry about. I remember when I met my friends Starry and Simmer, back when we were just young colts in school. Simmer, what a prankster, always placing pranks and blaming some other kid in the class. I was surprised he never got caught the scoundrel. One time he placed a cockatrice inside the desk of a horrible bully that regularly plagued the class, it was a surprise that someone was able to get him out from that stone prison. We all had to evacuate so the cockatrice could be contained, but after that fiasco, we three got together and laughed heartily as the sun went down that day. And Starry, ya know I thought she was the prettiest foal in class with what her pony tail and that balled up tail of hers... when I actually found out she was actually a he. It was surprising for the whole class, but we became friends anyway.
"Ey, are you lost or somethin? Your missing out on the view.", Clarity stood up from laying down on their spot and looking up into the sky with his memories.
"Simmer, I was just remembering the old times we used to have before this whole mess." Clarity looked down the long hill, it was as if the whole world rested on his shoulders.
"Ya know guys, this might be the last time we have to sit on this spot, we might never see each other again."
"Oh cheer up mate, even if we have to fight for our lives doesn't mean we won't see each other in the future." Simmer felt the fear in his friend and outstretched a comforting hoof on Clarity's downtrodden shoulder.
"Ey, Starry, don't you have any last words before the sun sets?" said Simmer.
"My only regret... is that I'll never get to buck a hot stallion before I go."
A sudden explosion of laughter came out from both Simmer and Clarity as they held arm to arm on each others shoulder, jovially mocking their friend. Starry would only glare at them.
"Heh, heh, Well at least your gonna be the center of attention in the battlefield." said Clarity jokily. Starry would only pout in disgust with a distinct "hmmph" from his girlish tone as the two laughed at his discontent.
"Ah, cheer up, its all in good fun." said Simmer, then, letting loose his mocking cohort from his hold.
