Aforementioned Disability: A Large Set of Unfinished Stories
Fallout Equestria: Big Blade
Previous ChapterNext ChapterSweat was pouring down, legs tensing and pulling carrots from their placed dirt home. Toiling in the hot sun, a red bodied stallion with a long orange and white streaked mane dug heavily with shovel between teeth. He was a big one, his legs were thick and he had strong muscles around his hard body. One by one, he dug under the vaporizing sun, putting it all in a nearby wheel barrel for collection. It was incredibly hot, but he toiled onward. All around him there was carrot vegetation, stretching out until it met with the sun-bleached earth. He wiped a sweat from his brow and looked onward to the house that situated between the two massive square of crops.
The home was bone white in color with its paint vaporized long ago from the old times. It had two stories, with three windows on the top with six for the kitchen, living room, and four rooms in the bottom with a door that was cracked with age, but still usable. The Stallion kept a look-out from where he worked, making sure to check for raiders that may come from the distance. To his slight relief, he did not notice a single one, but one could never be too careful. He returned to his work, his body was shaking and he did not yield. The Stallion was done with the left-side square of crops and had pulled through about half of the carrots on the right side.
The loud screech of the old rusty door of the home steered open. Out came a golden maned mare who was short with a curly mane and a white body. She carried with her a glass of carrot juice just begging to be consumed in this unbearable heat. She trotted her way through the open metal gate connected to the metal bars around the crop field and made it to The Stallion as he watched her intently, smiling happily.
"You look thirsty, hon-bun. Take it, this heat must be swelterin." said The Mare. She hoofed the glass towards him, he dropped his shovel and happily swigged it down with a happy grin. "Scalding, doesn't that feel allot bettah now?"
"Flaxy, babe, you know we can't be using our crops, we both know that the Overmare will be needen it", Scalding hoofed the glass to his hubby, she casually grabbed it back.
"Oh, I know, but seein you workin a sweat is tearin me from the inside, you are shaking so frightfully." said Flaxy in worry. She turned away with the glass in hoof and a frown on her sad face. Scalding moved next to her and snuggled close.
"Listen, listen, how is our little bundle of joy doin?" said Scalding. He bit on his special somepony's ear and she giggled lightly.
"Oh she is sleeping so heavenly, did I ever tell you have the best genes honey bug, that girl is gonna grow into such a strong mare.", she turned close towards his bright turquoise eyes.
"And she has your be-eauty, that no pony will ever compare to..." said Scalding. They leaned close and their mouths smacked into each other right behind the rising sun.
A loud sound of wheels turning and metal screeching sounded off from the distance. The two of them lost each other and looked onward to the desert like area with eyes wide open with fear. Flaxy hugged her mate, the loud metal getting louder with each second.
"Get inside! Now!" ordered Scalding. Flaxy ran as fast as she could and entered the pearl abode with fervor. She went past the kitchen, and entered the foal's nursing room, it was surrounded by make-shift wooden toys and differing nick-nacks with the foal slumbering in a working baby bed. Flaxy took her precious foal and quickly made it to the hidden basement beneath the wooden door under the bed. She trotted down the stairs and hid under the darkness, with the bright light shining through the wooden crevices of the ceiling.
Scalding hurried, going behind the home and opened a rectangular black metal box sitting idly on the ground and wall. Inside, there was a pulse-rifle just sitting there, dust collecting on its metal frame. It had an oval metal head with a circular part that was emerald tinged inside and a scope on its top base. He grasped the circular handle and put it on the right side of the ground. He looked through and grasped a chest plate armor and leggings that where metallically silver and spiked. He put on the metal chest armor first, both slid in just like they always have with his plasma rifle hanging from his back.
He looked off the distance after situating himself to the front of the home. He looked onward and saw a bus, driving frightfully fast at his position. It had bones covering the frame of the bus, poor ponies whose heads were cut off and hanged from the base of the decrepit vehicle. Scalding didn't waste any time, he grasped his rifle, aimed and tightened the trigger at the laughing raider driving that horrible abomination of pony-slaughter. One shot was made, it sailed onward onto the vehicle and hit the raider right through his skull, causing it to melt his brain from the inside into gelatinous goo that flowed out onto his lap. The bus spiraled out of control and slammed into the desert dirt.
Scalding watched intently through his scope for any signs of life through the distance. The bus was ever so silent, like a dead corpse about to burst with parasites. Out of the windows of the vehicle, crawled out raiders, they had horrible garments that had the bones of their killed. Their manes were arranged in different tribal hair styles to instill terror. Many came out, and Scalding shot as many down as he could. They ran screaming, firing bullets at him, forcing Scalding to move behind cover to the wheel barrel. He continued to fire indiscriminately at them, some of them disintegrating into dust and others losing their body parts and screaming for their mothers as their guts flowed out of their stomachs before being vaporized before their very eyes.
After a good while of ending lives, there were only a few crazed ponies running their way to the establishment. Scalding aimed while gritting his teeth at the few left and heard a minute, clear sound that signaled that his weapon was out of juice. He threw the useless weapon to the ground. With nothing to fight back, he flinched at the incoming bullets making holes through the barrel.
"Flaxy! Give me my weapon!" screamed Scalding as he cowered behind the barrel. From under his feet, Flaxy settled the young foal into the ground and ran into the deeper parts of the basement until she found exactly what she was looking for sitting alone at the edge of the wall. It was a sword, a very large and thin blade that was curved at the end leading to the point. The handle was made with silver, and it had one protrusion on its hilt. Flaxy grabbed the weapon, it was heavy, but she ran as fast as she could with what strength she had.
"Hurry!" screamed Scalding. Bullets fired and he cowered even more than before. She pushed the blade through the crack in the floor and he pulled it with haste. A raider ran to the barrel screaming obscenities at his direction and turned to aim his assault rife behind the barrel only to be met with death. With blade in bared teeth, Scalding slammed his weapon with all his might right into the raiders head, cutting the upper part of his skull from his jaw. Blood spurted out like a forceful fountain and sprayed all over Scalding's face, the top part of the raiders head hit the floor along with the assault rifle and then the body.
Scalding ran as fast as he could, running past the destroyed landscape that was blown to pieces with burnt holes, broken carrot, and gun powder. He viewed through and noticed only three raiders left. His steps where fast, he quickly avoided all of the raiders spray. The first one was a mare, she was red with green hair, her entire body was sliced in half, blood dropping into a pool drained by the thirsty dry earth below. The second was a stallion, his body tattooed to a tee, he fired his weapon at Scalding's general direction and soon started to flee. His leg was cut horizontally and split in half, he bled to death. The final crazed fool, tried to match blade with blade, but the mares sword was too cheap, and her upper body was cut like clay. More blood came upon his skin, and she lopped from side to side.
