Ruby Alphastar is a "slightly above average" student of Princess Celestia who's been having trouble focusing lately due to her reading Canterlot newspapers about her model, Princess Twilight Sparkle. Princess Celestia sends Ruby to Ponyville to help clear her head, where she meets her hero. Twilight accepts Ruby's offer to help her with studies and hang out, and Ruby is so happy she starts wanting to be exactly like Twilight so she can be great too. Will Ruby achieve the greatness she desires? Or will she go to far?
