The princess and the pirate
Princess Twilight stared out her bedroom window as her mother's servants packed her bags for her trip to Prince Blueblood's kingdom. Twilight was hoping a storm would delay the trip so she would not have to go and deal with that snobby prince she had to marry. Twilight also knew it would do no good trying to hide or act sick since her mother had a lot of patience. She heard her mother come into her room. "I understand you do not like this sweetheart but this will bring our kingdoms together." Her mother, Queen Celestia said.
Twilight nodded and said "I know mother. It is for the better of the kingdom. I wish it was anyone but Blueblood." Celestia knew that her daughter hated Blueblood with a passion. Celestia wished she didn't have to do this to her only daughter but she had no choice. If it wasn't for the law that Twilight must marry to be queen Celestia would have never agreed to this alliance. She turned to her daughter and pulled her into a hug. "I know this is hard but think you will only be there to decide on wedding arrangements then you will be back here. Now we best be off. Your ship leaves soon." Celestia said and Twilight nodded.
As they walked toward the carriage Twilight prayed Blueblood would at least be nice for once while she was there. Twilight wondered why she had to be the one to marry Blueblood and not someone else. Oh that's right to bring the two kingdoms together without the threat of the war. When they got to the ship Celestia kissed her daughter's forehead. "Have a safe trip." Twilight nodded and went on the ship. She went straight to her cabin and brought out a book, which happened to be a book on controlling her magic, from one of her many bags. "Please let me get away from this life I will be trapped in. I'd rather be kidnapped by pirates." Twilight thought as she read her book. Little did she know her wish would be granted.

"Oh Celestia you may have the upper hand with hiding the gem of magic but I will find it mark my words.I have found the other elements but it seems the one element I need just happens to be a gem. And Celestia had to hide it from me."He said out loud. Discord had search all over the land and the only place he could think the gem would be is with Celestia herself. Or her pretty little daughter Twilight. He knew Celestia wasn't a fool to give her only daughter the one thing he desired. So that thought was out of the question. But he could always kidnap her as leverage to get the gem of magic. A knock could be heard and the door opened to reveal Rainbow Dash, Discord's second in command. "Yes Rainbow. You know I hate being disturbed." Discord said with annoyance in his voice.
Rainbow looked at her captain. "Thought you'd want to know Pinkie spotted one of Celestia's ships through the spyglass. And she saw her pretty little daughter on board." Discord looked up with a grin. "Oh really now. This is perfect. Ready the crew. We have a princess to kidnap. And she may be the way for me to find the gem of magic." He said as Rainbow left. Discord looked out the window and was smirking. "What is Princess Twilight doing on a ship away from the castle. Celestia never lets her daughter out of her sight unless she is in the castle. Whatever the reason is, this really is perfect for me and kidnapping her will make Celestia tell me where the gem of magic is." Discord knew she would not cooperate so if he had to use his magic to get her to help so be it. It appeared he would get what he was after with the help of Princess Twilight whether she wanted to or not.

Twilight was reading in her cabin again ,after getting some fresh air, when she heard something going on deck. She rose from her chair and went to investigate. Twilight was often told her curiosity would get her in trouble one day but she just shrugged it off. She opened the door and went to the captain. While on the way to the wheel Twilight felt like something bad was going to happen. And whatever it was it had to do with her and Twilight did not like that at all.
Once she reached the captain, Twilight spoke. "Captain what's going on? Why is everyone one panicking?" The captain looked at Twilight with concern in his eyes. "I'm afraid we've spotted Discord's ship." Twilight gasped. She had heard of the Pirate King from accidentally listening in on her mother once. "Of course captain. I'll stay in my cabin." Twilight said as she returned to her cabin.
Sadly she didn't get far. Twilight felt her wrists were grabbed by two of Discord's crew. "Not happening Princess. Come on Pinkie, Cap'n wants her on the ship now." One with a accent said. The other pirate that held her nodded as they dragged Twilight to the other ship. Twilight tried to get free but their grips were too tight. She immediately knew struggling would do her no good in her predicament.
Once they got on Discord's ship, Twilight was pushed into a room that had two of her bags in it. They must have gotten near her ship and boarded silently to get to her that quick. "Why did you have to wish to be kidnapped by pirates. At least I won't have to worry about Blueblood. Now I have to worry about the Pirate King." Twilight thought as she sat down on the bed in the room she was in. Just what did they want with her. She had nothing they would want. Did she?
