Death is a cruel entity. That doesn't mean that it neglects to do its job, however.

When Rarity is found murdered in her room, Pinkie Pie's dark side - Pinkamena Diane Pie - surfaces as she embarks on a mad killing spree, blinded by her rage and grief. Now, it's up to her remaining friends to save Pinkie from the darkness before she succumbs completely.

However, what if that was merely a decoy for something more sinister? What if the key was Rarity's murderer all along?

And, most importantly... how will the others react when they learn that the true mastermind behind all of this madness was one of the ponies they thought they could trust with their own lives?
