the one who spoke with god.
how many years has it been? a millennia, easy. probably more than that. undoubtedly. nothing to do but count the exactly 4,629 stalactites again. 1... 2... 3...
meanwhile in a less boring place...
"how dare she!" twilight sparkle, was fuming. that whorse took her brother, and brainwashed him! "I can't believe... ugh!" she threw her stuff back down on the bed and started packing. if they didn't want her around, that was fine by her! she'd just go back to ponyville. maybe after this farce is done they can apologize.
it's not their fault. it was cadence. or the impostor. or whatever. she was manipulating them into doing what she wanted them to do, which was demean and undermine her! well, fuck that! she wasn't going to sit there while they did whatever it was that they wanted to do.
that... didn't make much sense. she's glad she didn't say that out loud.
'indeed.'
she nearly screamed out loud, but bit her tongue. she didn't need a nosy guard jumping in here and making her seem even more crazy.
'that's a good idea.'
a quick glance around the room revealed nothing out of the ordinary, but they could be hiding.
no i'm not. i'm talking to you directly through your mind.'
'THAT'S EVEN WORSE.'
'i mean you no harm. I wish to speak with you. in person.'
'okayyyy... spooky voice in my head, telling me that it wants to talk to me.'
' it's better than what you wanted to do. do you really think that stomping off to... what was it's name again?'
'ponyville. and stop reading my thoughts!'
ponyville, yeah. stomping off to ponyville will do anything? anyway. come meet me in old canterlot, in a bar called the broken cross. if you want. it's totally up to you.
she frowned, and continued packing. if she put the stuff in a hotel, but kept the money she had with her, she could go to the bar, and she wouldn't come back to her room having been broken into. yes. totally logical. she lugged the suitcase over her shoulder and as she was about to leave the door opened.
Rainbow dash.
The blue bomber. The athletic prodigy. Her "friend." "Hey, twilight."
"...Hi Rainbow." she refused to meet her eyes.
"Uh, me and the others were wondering if you had come to you senses yet, and is that a suitcase?"
"Yes. I don't want to go back to ponyville, because that would solve nothing, so i'm going to stay in a hotel."
To her surprise, rainbow looked shocked. "w-what? you're staying in a hotel? where?"
Twilight shrugged. "old canterlot. i'm meeting someone there."
"oh, well, okay." she moved out of the door way, letting twilight through. "you know, shining armor didn't mean it. you can still come to the wedding-"
"no. i'm done with him." without looking back, Twilight Sparkle left.
'this is the place?' To put it simply, she was shocked. all the other buildings on the street were abandoned, or were horrific looking. But this... she had no idea that a building like this was here. it had simple architecture, reminiscent of old poman buildings, but had fixtures, like crosses and runes spiraling and twisting around the front of the building.
a few spells revealed that this building was quite possibly one of the most well protected places in equestria. over a thousand spells, repelling everything from detections spells to straight up cannon blasts protected it. not even the princesses could tell that it was here unless they were told about it from someone else.
gulping, she opened the exquisitely made double doors, wondering what she would see.
you will see the truth.
so it appears that the seven sinners have convened. it will not be long before I am free.
the light came in through the windows, lighting up the main room.
"and god said, let there be light!"
the white pegasus standing next to the podium gave no heed to Twilight Sparkle as she entered.
