I remember her as clear as day. She was kind; perhaps the kindest pony I can remember in my life. I groaned and and got up from bed as I woke up. My dress shop in Manehattan had been doing far better as of late, so I was letting my dear friend Cocoa Pommel look after the place while I went to visit my penpal in Ponyville for the very first time since we started writing to each other. Her name was Rarity, and she ran her own shop called the Carousel Boutique. We'd agreed to meet at the train station after I had arrived.

I cinched up my saddle bag and made my way to Canterlot railway before leaving Manehattan to see my good friend.

When I arrived at the train station in Ponyville, I went straight to the ticket stand; the place Rarity said she'd be waiting for me, sure enough, there she was. We hugged and talked on our way to her Boutique, where she'd offered for me to stay with her and her sister Sweetie Belle. When we arrived and she helped me with the dress I was planning to wear to Cocoa Pommel's Birthday party, she finally noticed that I had both wings, and a horn.

"Why, you're an alicorn! I never noticed that before in the pictures you sent over!" She exclaimed, examining the dress. It was my own fabric; I'd designed it to be just like the night sky. "This dress really is simply divine, but it's missing something."

"I know; I haven't quite been able to figure out what the right accent would be." I explained. I blinked, and we shared a look before saying, "Star Crystals!"

"Well let's go find some!" She announced. I attached a cart to my back and ran with her out, activating the spell on my horn that let me look for  the Star Crystals. It glowed brighter when we got close to a large cluster of them. We put them into the cart and then brought them vack to the boutique, carving them into just the right shape and size before stitching them into the places of the stars on her dress.

"Perfect!" both of the mares exclaimed before leaving.

They'd been discussing where to meet Rarity's friends for lunch, and had decided on Sugar Cube Corner
