Tons of books are around him all about quantum physics and the universe he is determined to prove that he was right. He was sleeping  until he got awaken by a someone who is knocking at the door “Who is it?” He asked “It’s me crissy” Crissy is his childhood friend she was right by his side since they have been classmate in third grade. They both went to the same college but she took geophysics and now taking her master’s degree “What do you want? Its early” he answered with a slight annoyance in his voice “Early? It’s 8’o clock already” “Soo what” “You didn’t stay up all night to do research again? Did you?” “Nope” “Come on you can’t push yourself that hard trying something that it wasn’t real” “It can be real I have finally find a way to make it work I have found a way to open a portal to another universe a new earth!” he said with excitement “So if you would excuse me I have some experiment to do” “Fine do that experiment of yours but if you fail again don’t forget that I am always right here for you” she then proceed to hug cray “Thanks” He said “I’ll leave you now as you be” She then walked off “Now where was I last night? Yes! Time to make my machine” he said with a tint of exuberance The day went on with him in the garage trying to make his “portal” to the other universe it took him almost all day to build and another hour to make sure everything is in place by the time he is done it was almost 11 pm “Damn I didn’t know that time would go that fast, well no time to waste time to power up this bad boy” He then proceed to his so called “shield” which is a wall with a thick layer of ballistic steel almost 3 inches to protect him if an explosion happens “Okay power on, cooling activated, electromagnetic field detected, coordinates programed we are good to go” He said with excitement “if my calculations are correct this should open a portal to another earth in a different universe” He then started the countdown 10…….9…….8…….7…….6…….5…….4…….3…….2…….1. Then the machined activated, it whirled and started releasing bolts of electricity and magnetizing the air around him making all his tools float in the air few seconds later everything just dropped and the machine stabilized and started emitting a swirl of color and light “YES!! It worked! all my hard work and research finally over I can now prove to the world that it exist!” he said with glee. He get his bag in it are his gear and other things used to fix stuff like screwdrivers ratchet and some measuring devices “I don’t know what on the other side but I am to find it out” he stepped near to the portal “Well this now or never, goodbye earth of this universe” He then jumped to the portal flash of colors pierced his eyes it took almost five seconds from point to point. He fall to the ground feeling his way through everything “Note to self need to make the ride much more comfortable and not dizzy” He checked if everything he need in his backpack was still there he rummage through his backpack and said to himself “where is that remote back to open the portal again” and from that point he remembered something he left the remote in the desk in his garage “Shit, stupid of all the things that I would forgotten I forgot the remote” he said to himself “Looks like I need to find some people to help me build a remote to go back” he then get his compass to try find north but to his amazement the compass turned and turned and it looks like it’s not going to stop “Well that thing is fried I can’t use my compass I think I need to use some of those stuff I learned at the tv” He scanned his surroundings trying to find something as a marker for civilization but no it was miles and miles of trees “Well looks like I am going to find my way from here” and from there his journey began he walked for almost thirty minute but still he can’t find any people in here. He stopped at a spot where the moon could be seen clearly from the sky. He then noticed something“That is odd I think the moon didn’t like that before guess this universe is more complex that the other one” He proceed to make his campfire cook some meals. He was glad that he packed some food and some water in his back pack after he was finished cooking and eating his meal he set up his tent and try to make a strategy for tomorrow “Okay I will try to go to the clearing near the hills and maybe I will find some people and hope that their technology could handle my machine cause if not I might try to reverse engineer my machine from scratch” After saying that he heard a rustle in the bushes. He then poke his head out of the tent “Hello? Anybody there?” but the wind only answered “I am armed and ready to fight just so you know” again nothing answered “Looks like it was just my imagination” but before he got back to his tent something just passed behind his head “What was that?” he could only see it’s trail it was a rainbow he then thought “A rainbow in the middle of the night looks like I am really tired that I am actually seeing things” he positioned himself and try to sleep preparing himself for what lies ahead
