Prologue

I was very young when the war began.

I remember that our home was once as peaceful paradise like Equestria.

But soon it all fell apart.

Had any of us had known what would happen by letting Albino have his way.

Then we wouldn’t have done it.

Four six years we have been at war with Albino and his growing army of Insurrectionists. He vowed to destroy or enslave all of those who defied him and his rule. Legend has it that he is more powerful than Princess Celestia.

Others say he is a god that nopony or dragon can defeat him. But as for me I don’t think he is a god because of the stories I’ve heard of the pony who challenged him and escaped with his life. I don’t know who he is but he is giving us a reason to fight back.

My father says that he knew this pony when they were teenagers, that he was a very powerful and kind.

Everyday I pray to Celestia to help us, to give us a reason to fight, and she has fulfilled that promise.

We may not be winning this war right now but I know whoever this pony is I know he will pull us out of the darkness and bring us too the light of Celestia's Sun.
