I am the forgotten Alicorn. After Celestia and Luna fought Discord I met Starswirled abearded and I helped him work on his magic. At the time i was just a Pegasus fetching stuff for Starswirled and sending messages. It was hard work and most times I passed out before we even had dinner. It was a good job and payed well but one thing kept tormenting me.
I still didn't have my cutie mark. I had no idea what i was supposed to do about it so I just kept helping Starswirled with whatever he needed and sending messages to whoever he needed me to. One day Starswirled was working on his magic when we got a letter saying "Sombra has taken over the Crystal Empire and the crystal ponies need help come to the castle at once." We ran as fast as we could to get to castle and when we made it Celestia and Luna were waiting for us.
Celestia said "We need to get back the Crystal Empire it's our only chance to save the Crystal Ponies."
Then Luna said "I think we should use the Elements of Harmony to defeat Sombra and take back the Crystal Empire from him."
To my shock Starswirled said "The Elements of Harmony are pointless, freindship has no real power only studies and hardwork give you strength come on Shadow if there plan is to use the Elements we will take no part in this."
"But sir the Elements defeated Discord why can't they defeat Sombra. The only thing he has is his dark magic and we can defeat him." I said.
"No! We will not help them! Stay to help them if you want im leaving."
"Starswirled im going with you wait up." I yelled " bye Luna, bye Celestia."
"He seemed to side with us I wonder why?"
"Maybe he thinks he can change Starswirled mind."
"I hope your right Luna or else we just lost a very strong unicorn, hey what was his students name again?"
"I think it was Shadow but i may be wrong why do you ask?"
"He has no Cutie Mark and that worries every other pony has theirs bye this time why not him?"
"I don't know but I don't think it matters everypony gets theirs when their ready."
When we got back to the library Starswirled sent me to find the book he was studying. I didn't like how much he was studying that book and if i knew what he was going to do i would have never had brought them to him.
"Get me 6 clouded gems and a sandwich im hungry."
"Ok sir, but why the gems what are you planning to do."
"Its none of your concern now get them or your fired"
"Ok im going im going be back in a bit"
It took me a while to find the gems and by the time I got back I felt like my wings were going to snap off.
"I got what you asked for so what are you going to do?"
"First eat this sandwich im starving then im going to make the Elements of Disharmony."
"Starswirled you know how dangerous that is if you try to do it I will try to stop you!"
"What are you going to do your just a Pegasus without his Cutie Mark!"
"I can do this!" I said as I picked up star Starswirled and hurled him into the wall.
"You want to fight try fighting without being able to move!" He said as he froze me in midair.
There I saw him make each and every Element of Disharmony then when he was finished he said.
"I know control Dark Magic if you think you can stop me let me give you a fighting chance!" There he blasted me with all of the pure Magic he had left not knowing what would happen.
It seeped into me and made his spell fall away then before i saw it he said.
"Ah so it appears my magic was strong enough to give you a horn no matter its not like your strong enough to stop me!"
He said as he blasted me with Dark Magic. It made me feel like I was on fire but I blasted him with lightning and he fell to the floor. Only to come up and blast me through the wall. I got a severe cut across my eye and it made it hard to see.
Then I shot him with a magic blast that destroyed his cloak. After that he got the Elements of Disharmony and used them to send me to Celestia's castle going through wall after wall after wall.
Then I was infront of Celestia barely conscious my horn was broken as well as my wings, as I passed out I herd Celestia say "Luna come quick Shadow's an Alicorn!"
"What are we going to do?" Said Luna
"I have know idea but we do have to get him to the infermery, Gaurds take him there I'll be there in a moment"
"How did this happen?!"
"I don't know but I sensed traces of Dark Magic on him"
"He used Dark Magic!"
"No his heart was pure as well as his magic, he was blasted with an incredible amount of it."
"Then who blasted him and how did he get his horn."
"Magic was pored into him and a horn appeared."
"Only Magic as strong as Starswirled's could . . . oh no we have to find Starswirled NOW!!!!"
"Don't tell me he made the Elements of Disharmony."
"No one can use that much Dark Magic without them."
"How will we find him?"
"The Elements of Harmony will track them lets get them."
"What if he is too strong?”
“Nothing can beat the power of two Alicorns.”
“I hope you’re right for our sake.”
As the princesses rush to Starswirled ShadowSlayer starts to stir.
“ughhguhg.”
“Oh so you are finally awake.”
“Who are you?”
“I’m one of the royal guard and your in the castles infermery.”
“Why I feel fine.”
“That’s only because I used my magic to repair your bones, fix your horn, and clean all your cuts.”
“Uh . . . cool does that mean I can go and eat something.”
“Sure but I must escort you to where you want to go because you are now an alicorn.”
“Why so what if I’m an alicorn I’m still the same pony.”
“You know what just stay here and ill bring you something.”
“Fine” I say as I fall asleep.
