A single drop of water fell on the alicorn princess that was enough to wake her up along with her friends. They were al chained up to the neck, legs and of course wings for the pegasi, especially Rainbow Dash who was shocked then tried to fly up but was brought back down by the chain.
"What the hell? Why are we tied up?" asked Dash frantic.
"Ah reckon it's that damn Starlight Glimmer, such a sore apple after what we did," exclaimed Applejack.
Twilight looked up trying to see but failed, why are we here she thought. A TV inside the room buzzed then showed Starlight Glimmer sitting in an office chair, smiling from ear to ear which made Dash get very pissed off but Twilight calmed her down with a gentle hoof.
"Hello fellow ponies especially you Twilight I'm so glad you all decided to join me in my little game, I promise that this is going to be a fun survival game," explained Starlight flashing an evil grin.
"Starlight you'd better hope I don't find you and shove my hoof so far up your ass you'll shit out your organs through your mouth," exclaimed Dash angrily.
Fluttershy had hid under Applejack who comforted the shy pegasus, none of them have ever seen Dash in this kind of anger even though she had a burning hatred of Starlight along with everypony else. Twilight tried to fly up to get a better look of their surroundings but like Rainbow earlier she was pulled down by the chains, she kept doing that but eventually gave up.
"Poor princess Twilight it's a shame you can't call for Celestia or Luna for help such a crying shame," said Starlight.
"What do you want Star?" asked Twilight who was kinda getting fed up with her constant bullshit.
"It's very simple really I want to play a survival game, a game that requires nerves of steel and no fear. Now on each one of your hooves is a fear bracelet that will react to how scared you get," explained Glimmer.
"Oh dear! These bracelets could use a bit more touch from a mare like me," said Rarity until Applejack slapped her on the back of her head.
"No time," said Applejack.
"Now if those bracelets turn red well you'll see...have fun," said Starlight as she released the chains.
Twilight's stomach dropped to a level anyone never seen before, Starlight was doing this as revenge for Twi embarrassing her so now it her turn to spread a little fear and probably some death in the process.
"Okay girls we need to be as fearless as possible or at least try," said Twilight shivering a bit.
That was better said than done considering Fluttershy was shaking like a leaf. Eventually Applejack calmed down the shy pony and agreed to be her partner, so no Twilight had to see where the hell they were and find a way out without going completely going insane...all according to Starlight's plan.
"So what now?" We'd better get moving before something else happens," said Rainbow Dash as she walked beside her friends.
They all walked about half a mile down the road, taking frequent stops to rest and use the bathroom even though their wasn't any public bathrooms where they were. Once every mile, Twilight would check the bracelets one by one and which made the others back up from Fluttershy.
"Please don't back away...please," said Shy until a vein started to pop out along with several blisters that spread everywhere.
"Fluttershy!" yelled Twilight.
It only got worse: The blisters turned into popping holes that spat out puss, her eyes rolled back until all they saw was pure white which made Rarity faint, Dash put her on her back then proceeded to run for dear life as if nothing else mattered. Twilight looked in fear and sorrow as she saw what used to be Fluttershy, she didn't want to hurt her but the alicorn princess had no choice so she stood her ground and charges at her, blasting her in the head hard that caused her brain to fall, eventually she fell on the ground. Twilight's horn lit up and out of nowhere she turned Fluttershy into a statue and she caught up with her friends.
"Twi please tell me that Shy is in a better place," said Applejack.
"Yea I used the stone statue spell on her after I splattered her brains all over the forest," said Twilight with a single tear in her eye.
Dash put a reassuring hoof on her friend as if to give her confidence in this dark time.
"Aw what a shame that poor Fluttershy, I actually though she would last longer but no pony can live forever," explained Starlight who communicated through the bracelets.
"Give me a reason not to kill you," said Dash enraged.
"Cause I'm in control of this game and if you want to survive I suggest you do as I say," responded Starlight with a devilish smile.
The mares knew they're wasn't any other way out of this so in a huff Rainbow Dash nodded to continue this crazy train.
"Now head to that cave, inside it is a key for one of the bracelets but make sure you choose the right one or they're going to be an explosion," explained Starlight.
Twilight stepped into the cave, dark as it was she lit it up with her horn being cautious as ever. The others stood outside even as Rarity woke up, Applejack explained to the white unicorn about what's been going on now, Rarity looked at her bracelet and the mere shock in her face told the whole story.
"Girls I got the key now-"
Twilight was cut off by an explosion that spread Rarity's intestines and other important organs all over the trees and the blood covered the other mares coats.
Applejack and Twilight let out a bloodcurdling scream while Rainbow fainted, all that was left was Rarity's hoof with the bracelet. After a whole hour of constant screaming Twilight sobbed hard along with Applejack but Dash was curled up in a ball rocking back and forth.
The insanity is about to begin.
The barn door was holding back but not for too long, Twilight and her friends had to think of a plan and fast.
"Um Twi unless you have a death wish I suggest you think of a plan before we end up in a full course meal of death," commanded Applejack as she was holding on to the doors.
"I'm thinking," said Twilight slowly going insane.
Until Starlight's laugh could be heard from miles away but no pony knew where they were so Twilight knew it would be useless to call for help, that's when she went into another room of the barn to find an axe stuck against the wall. She pulled it off with her magic and examined the axe closely and noticed blood stains were fresh, in her mind she wanted this nightmare to end but on the other hoof she wanted to kill herself.
Her thought was interrupted with the sound of screaming and crunching noises of bones and what Twilight saw made her almost turn pale. Applejack was cut in half with her intestines dripping all over the walls and floor, eyes landing in Dash's mouth which she spat out then puked all over the hay.
Twilight couldn't take anymore of her friends dying so she tried to kill herself with the axe but Dash and Pinkie stopped her and held Twilight tightly in their arms.
"Twi trust us we want to do the same thing but we can't Glimmer get the best of us," said Pinkie.
Twilight couldn't argue with Pinkie's logic considering that if she did kill herself then that would mean Starlight wins. After they cleaned up Applejack's remains, the three girls returned to Ponyville bruised and bloodied. Dash was too frightened to go to Cloudsdale so she stayed at Twilight's house to stay the night.
After a while of decision making, Dash and Twilight slept in bed together while Pinkie slept on the floor beside Twi's bed. Being unable to sleep Rainbow hugged the purple alicorn princess in order to seek comfort even though she had a mental scar of her friends death including Rarity's explosion and then Applejack having her organs all over the walls, experiencing horrific sights like that leaves scars forever.
"Hey Dashie do you think Glimmer will just let us go that that?" asked Pinkie as she looked at the ceiling.
"I hope so...I don't think I can handle another dead body anymore," said Dash.
As the sun rose Twilight woke up and saw jail bars as if she was convicted of a crime.
"What the hell? Where am I?" asked Twilight.
Stepping out of the shadows, Starlight appeared in front of the bars mocking Twilight. With the sun rising in the east the alicorn princess tried to get out but with no effort. Starlight liked this part of her prisoner. The fear, insanity and just straight up madness clouded Twilight's mind and judgment.
"How does it feel that your whole world is flipped upside down and replaced with insanity and darkness? You made me look like a fool and now your going to die here Twilight Sparkle," said Starlight.
The only response Twilight gave was an insane grin as her mane went frizzy and curly all over then she teleported out of her cell and bucks Starlight in the face then repeatedly smashed her face on the steel floor. Everything Twilight had to face made her this way, nothing but a broken mess and taking her anger on a now dead Starlight Glimmer whom she ate the body and face including the eyes.
Pinkie and Dash walked in on that and they're faces turn as white as milk at the horror they saw, what Starlight Glimmer did to Twilight's psyche. It was horrifying and revolting which caused Rainbow to throw up on the floor.
"The Devil Within," said Twilight who let out an insane scream.
"Twilight..." said Pinkie in a scared tone.
"Don't worry Pinkie I only hurt bad ponies...not good friends like you and Dashie," said Twilight as she wiped the blood of her mouth then pet Pinkie's head.
Whatever Starlight did to Twilight it is not a good thing...to be honest this scares the living hell out of me Dash thought in her mind. Pinkie was still scared of her friend even though now they don't have to worry about a challenge or a life and death situation.
Returning home, Twilight went upstairs and took a shower while listening to heavy metal which was unusual for the purple alicorn princess of friendship. Rainbow tried to figure out what in the world wide of Equestria happened to their friend that caused her to snap and eat her alive then a flash of those cannibal ponies tearing Applejack apart flooded her mind like a tidal wave.
Twilight came downstairs, dry mane and back to normal which was a sigh of relief to both Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash even though the image will remain in their minds forever but for now their nightmare was over...for now.
Rainbow Dash tried her very best not to throw up considering that Rarity exploded into nothing but organs and blood.
"Starlight is trying to scare us and to be honest with you it's working," said Rainbow who was still in a feeble position and rocking back and forth as if to shake off what just happened and knowing that she can't un see what she saw.
Twilight and Applejack on the other hand were still trying to gather their thoughts after seeing what happened to Rarity but then Twi remembered the stone touch on Fluttershy after splattering her brain all over the woods which became food for all the animals.
So the three got up and began walking again while Dash flew slightly to avoid tripping the automatic sentry gun that would turn her into nothing but raw meat and dried up wings, Dash could see what looked like a pink pony skipping about without a care in the world.
"PINKIE PIE!" said all three in unison as they hugged their pink friend.
"Oh hey Dashie, Twilight and Applejack it's nice to see you guys again but why are you all covered in blood?" asked Pinkie in complete confusion.
Applejack explained the whole situation to Pinkie about the bracelets that react to their fear, how Twilight had to kill Fluttershy and also Rarity exploding into a million pieces including her vital organs. Pinkie's expression went to confusion to sadness and hatred for the mastermind behind this crazy train: Starlight Glimmer.
"She switched these up like crazy," said Applejack.
"And I will continue to do so until you decide to keep going and return home," commanded Starlight through an intercom.
That was enough to convince Pinkie to help take off their bracelets which gave the girls a sigh of relief. But the real terror was about to become apparent to the girls, a large lightning strike hit the ground and almost barely hit Applejack but Dash was able to move her over.
"Ha ha ha Rainbow it will take more than that to stop me," said Starlight over an intercom.
"What is she talking about?" asked Pinkie.
"The way our game is going to play is: Get to Ponyville before you die," said Glimmer with a devious laugh.
Twilight didn't like the sound of that considering that now Starlight now sent out cannibal ponies who are hellbent in chowing down on anypony that crossed their path. Dash zoomed like her life depended on it as she could hear tribal words and unknown phrases, at this point Rainbow flew up trying to get away along with her friends.
"Quickly to the barn we can hide in there!" commanded Applejack as she opened the barn door to let her friends in.
"What the fuck was that?" asked Dash as her heart beated like a drum solo.
Pinkie and Twilight both held each other in fear and shivering like crazy.
