Once the world was bright and alive. Then the Gods left you all behind. The sun still shines, barely. But even now, there are only embers. But soon the flames will fade, and only dark will remain.
You are one of the undead, a cursed being leading a doomed existence in a downward spiral of decay, misery, and death. As the years go by and you die time and again, your mind slips more and more as you struggle to cope with things mortals were not meant to endure. How can you cope with this as you find yourself deteriorating but unable to stop yourself? Is it even worth trying in a world even the gods have left behind?
