Persona X EG
Chapter 1
Load Full StoryA thick fog covered the area as a limo drove through it. Inside the limo were three people, one was an older man with white hair and a ridicules long nose. He wore a nice business suit and white gloves. The second occupant was a young woman who wore a blue dress and had platinum blonde hair. The last occupant sat across from them. He was in his teenage years and had silver hair which was clean cut. He wore a black jacket with white undershirt and black pants.
“Welcome to the Velvet Room” The old man spoke in a welcoming manner to the guest. “My name is Igor and I’m delighted to meet you. So who might you be young one.”
“...Yu Narukami. What the heck is going on, last I remember I fell asleep on a bus.” Yu said looking around confused and lost.
Igor chuckled before continuing, “This, young man, is The Velvet Room…it is a place between dream and reality, mind and matter." Igor vagualy explained as he showed off a bit more of the limousine.
‘Well that is helpful,’ Yu thought to himself.
"There have been not been many who have passed through this space."
“Master, I sense something is off about this one,” The blonde spoke up.
“Hmm, you may be right. Let’s see what the cards have in store,” With a wave of the man's hands, a small deck of cards appeared on the table before him. "Now I must ask, do you believe in fortune telling?”
“I find it interesting, why?”
Spreading the cards out over the table Igor waited a bit as if ignoring Yu. “First we have the Tower in the upright position representing the immediate future. A great catastrophe is coming to you, and the card indicating the future beyond that is,” as he put the card down another new card was flipped over. “The Moon in the upright position, it represents hesitation. It seems that a catastrophe is to take place, and a great mystery will be imposed upon you." Before he could go any farther another card flipped itself upright surprising all three with its powerful glow. “This card is the Lovers card. It represents a split decision that you alone can not make. The decision to be made might not be between right and wrong but bad or worse,” Igor elaborated. “But know this the decision will not just affect you but also those around you.”
The room started becoming more foged around Yu as things became less clear. “It appears that our time draws short and no more of your future can be seen. But before you go there is one other who must introduce herself.”
“Hello my name is Margaret and I will assist you during your adventure.” The now named Margaret said in an interested tone.
~Unmarked Road~
A bus traveled down a dirt road heading towards a town. Inside the bus were two people. First was the driver who didn't have any distinct features, the other person was Yu who look like he just woke up.
"And that is why thick pancakes are so much better than thin pancakes!" The driver stated with passion.
‘There were so many questions waiting to be asked from that one sentence alone.’ Yu’s groggy mind said.
"Oh, sorry, hey I think your stop is up ahead." The driver said spotting a city up ahead. He stopped the bus as the passenger walked towards the exit after grabbing his duffle bag. "Well hope you enjoy your time here. But it is such a small town you probably won’t have much to do.”
"I’m sure I’ll find something."
“Okay well have a great time, but if you need something to do I hear the gas station here is hiring.” With a kind smile the driver extended his hand which Yu shook before getting off. After the handshake finished he turned and started to walk towards a house that wasn’t far off. ‘Why did my parents send me here?’ He walked toward the house that was near the edge of town and was barely visible as the sun set.
The house was a two story simple house. Entering in showed that it hadn’t been used in while as everything was covered in a very thin line of dust. Right when he was thinking about cleaning up he felt a wave of tiredness Yu dumped his bag on the couch before he headed upstairs he entered one of the bedrooms. He looked around and saw a regular bed and a TV on a stand. Seeing the bed he fell asleep the second his head the bed as he had a strange involving fog.
~In Front of Canterlot School~
Three cloaked figures walked around the yard before the two slightly taller ones walked towards the shortest one who was standing in front of a statue of a horse. Another figure appeared from the statue.
“Are we all here?” The one who came from the mirror asked. The only difference about him from the other three was that he had a bell around his neck.
“No we still have to wait for Her.” The shortest spoke with disgust.
“Hmm… has anyone heard any news about Equestria.”
“Yes, your student rose again but was mostly destroyed by the Crystal Heart.”
“Hmm… yes, that fool. He was just to replace annoying mule. But he turned out very useful.” Rubbing his chin in thought. “I'm glad those stupid servants fond what was left of him.”
“Yes too bad you couldn’t help him. But then again you probably couldn’t ring him in time.” One of the cloaked humans behind the midget said.
“Silence Reeka,” Turning she struck at the her knocking her over.
“Well I can see that things are going good here.” A grey cloaked said walking towards them.
“About time you arrived,” The only male said annoyed. “What kept you.”
“Just introducing another member into my game.”
“You couldn’t wait a day, you made us wait just to play your stupid game! What happened to the gas station routine of yours. It’s rude to keep Mother Hydia waiting!” The other figure behind the now named Hydia said.
“Draggle,” Hydia growled at her.
“SILENCE,” the bell wearer yelled gaining everyone's attention, “Do you three have what we need.”
“Of course, I must inform you how hard these were to make.” Reaching into her cloak Hydia pulled out three gems.
“Are you sure we can trust those deformed sea ponies?” Reeka asked disgusted.
“Who said we are have to trust them. We just need their power.” Grey cloak said taking the gems and putting them in her cloak. “I will track them down, nothing escapes my sight especially in the fog, also don’t forget our deal.”
As Grey cloak started disappearing Hydia turned towards the only unnamed member, “So, Grogar, what do we need with her?”
“Don’t forgot that in this world, even when we all have hands and some magic, she is the strongest.” Even through the shadows the other three could still see his smile. “Besides, I have big plans for her powers regarding some pony princesses. I already have a plan ready for the newest one. My student is quite glad about it.” Turning around he walked back through the statue.
After a few seconds of silence, “Mother when will we go back.” Reeka asked before flinching back preparing for the backlash.
“Soon my children soon,” Hydia responded with glee before walking away.
"I wonder how much has changed there," Draggle muttered following.
~September 7/Morning~
A loud thud jolted him awake as Yu rushed down stairs to see what happened. Nothing downstairs had fallen when he heard something outside. Opening the door he saw a blonde haired women rush around as she gathered papers that flew around in the wind. She had long blond hair that reached to her mid back, and light tan skin. She was wearing a gray short sleeve dress shirt with two front pockets, and short brown cargo pants, with a pair of black work boots. Yu let out a sigh before he grabbed some papers he could find.
Once satisfied that no more were around he walked over to the blonde he noticed that she wore a grey sweater and pants. Tapping her shoulder caused her to let out a surprised noise as she jumped back clutching her papers to her chest.
Yu held out the papers out in front of him, “Here you go.”
“Oh thank you,” She said taking the papers as Yu notices her golden eyes and the bubble marking the back of her hand. “*Gasp* You're the new here aren't you! My name is Dizty Doo."
"Yeah I got here today. Names Yu Narukami by the way." Dizty reached into her bag as her face light up and pulled out a letter addressed to him. Opening it he saw a class schedule and a locker combo. "Hey Ditzy do you know where the school is?"
"Oh yeah its that building right there," Ditzy pointed to a big building a ways away. Seeing her watch on the hand she was pointing with the girl let out a gasp, "Look at the time I need to finish my route."
Ditzy flew off in a hurry as Yu shrugged before walking back into his humble abode to see if the boxes with his school supplies were in there. When he reentered the house he noticed the dust seemed to have spread to some of the boxes.
‘Should probably go check the school for my classes.’ Yu thought to himself. ‘Maybe go and see if there are any people who need help.’ Leaving the dusty house Yu made his way to Canterlot High to see what the school year held for him.
