"Jeder von Ihnen gehört die Geschichte von dem Mädchen, das...?"

"Halt die Schnauze und Konzentrieren Sie Sascha."

"Wir sind auf einen wichtigen Auftrag, niemand will auf Ihre stumme Arsch Witze und Animationen zu hören."

"Setz dich, Schließen Sie das Bumsen"

The Four German Soldiers Went Silent Again, They had continually been quiet, only to have Sascha Interrupt the silence with the beginning of a horrid joke. Anselm cleared his throat.

"Hier befinden wir uns."

The Van Chugged To A Halt. Sascha, Bastian and Dietfried, collected up their gear and fixed their helmets in place. Anselm switched the vehicle off and adjusted the handbrake to the on position. He Picked Up his loaded Luger .47 and put it in his left shoulder holster before getting out.

Anselm had a bad habit of placing his spare gun down on the passenger seat when in a vehicle. He Couldn't Help it, But quiet more often than not, it had saved his life.

On one occasion he was outside his vehicle whilst his team mechanic fixed the engine, half were in the car and the only other two were on the other side of the vehicle. Anselm noticed some movement off in the wispy fog and investigated, it wasn't that far just a hundred meter's or so.

When he arrived where he had seen the movement he was assaulted by an American Spy, The Spy Was unarmed and attempted to Get Anselm's Pistol, But His hand only found air. Anselm, being an officer carried three pistols and left one unloaded. He dispatched the spy and went back to his now broken cigarette.

Anselm Stopped in front of the pile of rubble, the other three soldiers were already searching through the ashen lumps. Sascha digging like a stupid mutt.

Moron Anselm thought, When Will He Ever Stop with the fucking jokes?

"Dummer Esel ness von Sascha" Anselm Muttered.

"Sascha!" He Called.

Sascha looked over to Anselm. "Well Come On, Fucking Help Us Ass-hole."

Anselm took out a pack of cigarettes and tapped one out, he lit it up and took a drag. Puffing the smoke.

"Nein, You Seem To Have It Under Control," Anselm Called Back.

Bastian and Dietfried both glanced at Anselm then went back to work. A few hours passed like this, silence of the rolling fog and crumbling ash and debris. There were still some walls and a little bit of roof, but that was mere coincidence this building was dilapidated and rotting.

It had burned in the battle of Częstochowa. It Was a bloody conflict, where Anselm had become an officer.

Bastian stopped.

"Anselm! I Found Something!" He Shouted.

The Word, Mistake Could Be Used Here. Anselm and the group rushed over to Bastian, he held up a small object, roughly the size of a flip-phone. It was covered with a bright red: Warning, right on the side.

Anselm Grabbed it and inspected it. He took a snapshot with his helmet camera and looked it over. Several moments passed as HQ sent back the acknowledgement or mistake they had made.

Anselm Heard a light ping from his helmet's left auditory sensor. Something, and a lot of something was off in the direction of the van.

"Get Down," He said.

The others didn't argue, they knew that something was wrong. Anselm always held his uninterested, blank tone. But now, there was something different to his voice. Anselm turned to the direction of the van. He couldn't see through the fog, so he activated the heat vision of his visual optics.

Rather than multiple heat signatures it was just one mass.

Shit.

There were blank spots in the rough shape of a weapon, a machine-gun to be specific. Possibly that of American make, they were a problem, Americans, not the guns they made. Those were worse.

Anselm pulled out one of his pistols.

He knew that they were waiting for them to do something, like move back. He adjusted his audio receivers, he could hear them shuffling and whispering things. He'd taken English up as a hobby. So he could understand some of it.

"They Found It, The Fuck Are They Coming Back?"

"Wait Fitzgerald, They Probably Think Something Is Up."

Anselm Sent a ping order through his wrist-CPU.

The Three soldiers moved into strategic positions. Another pinging appeared, from the left and right now. More enemies. Anselm hadn't been surrounded before. He raised his weapon, and pointed it at one in front of him.

"Sieg Heil Mother-fuckers," He muttered, squeezing the trigger.

A Loud Pop started the fire-fight. Anselm dropped right after he fired the shot, it took two down, surprisingly. It took a second for them to register the action before firing. The Enemy resistance moved in, firing low from all sides, they could not see one another, and didn't want to hit one another.

Anselm Activated more ping orders as him and his fellow soldiers fired off at random opponents. The resistance fighters didn't have armours, so they were easy to take down, but there were more of them than there were bullets in the four soldier's guns.

"Sascha!" Dietfried shouted, "Throw a fragmentation Grenade!"

Sascha pulled the pin of his grenade and tossed it. A Loud explosion rang out. the bullets hailed against the decimated walls. they wouldn't last too long under this punishment.

"Again Sascha!" Dietfried cried.

Sascha pulled the pin of a second and third and hucked them in the other three directions. They were surrounded, to a full, even though the fourth wall hadn't come in until now.

Anselm sent an ordinance Drop on all sides of them From HQ. but it would be nearly a half hour before they got there. The four peppered the enemy fighters for a few moments more before all reloading at near the same time.

As they did so Sascha pointed to something in the misty air.

The Four looked skywards as a massive blackened shape grew larger.

"What The Fuck?!" Bastian shouted.

A piercing white light shined directly into the four soldier's eyes. They shouted German obscenities as their ears began to ring loudly, like the ringing would split their heads. The sound of the audio receptors in their helmets fizzling out cause a horrid deafness to engulf their world.
