Memory magic had been doing alright, until the past drastically changes a pony's future.

Never Wakes whole life is changed when he sees a horrible glimpse of an abused foals past. With only a brief look at the foal and the memory he has clung onto, he attempts to find the foal again and make things right.

As everything spirals around him and more daunting secrets are revealed, Never Wake has to ask himself how many lives he's willing to risk for the sake of one. The choice, he discovers, will have deadly consequences.
