In a cave, in a desolate corner of Equestria, Glowspark and Hauntly were sheltering from the rain with their children, Celestia and the two twins Luna and Moondrop. This was the only part of the land that was untouched by Discord but the parents new he would reach them at some point.

"Mum, we need to stop running! We need to fight! We're alicorns! We can over throw him!" Celestia cried,forcefully pounding the ground with her hoof.

The mare shot her a stern look. "This dangerous thinking needs to stop, Celestia. If we could defeat him we would and right now hiding is what's best for all of us."

There was a giggle. "Stop it, Moondrop! It hurts!" The little filly was firing sparks from her horn uncontrollably. A thorn vine grew down from the ceiling and grabbed her horn. The children started screaming as the floor turned light blue. It was clear that this area of the land had finally succumbed to the chaos of Discord.Now there was nowhere else that was safe for them to hide. Suddenly, a cackle echoed through the cave.

"He's Here!" gasped Hauntly. "You know what we must do!"

"My girls," sighed Glowspark, slicing the vine away. "You are beautiful, strong and you can be anything you want to be," she turned to Celestia, "Use a cloaking spell and don't stop no matter what happens! We'll buy you some time...

The girls watched as their parents walked outside the cave to face Discord. Moondrop nudged Celestia.

"You need to cast that spell! We don't have much time!"

Celestia's horn lit up as her yellow magic took affect, A dome started to form slowly, growing slightly bigger with each moment.

"Ah, lookie here! Two alicorns! Time to rid myself of this infestation..." Sneered Discord, raising his left paw.

"Glowspark, I love you... forever and always..." sighed Hauntly, embracing her.

Before she could reply, a claw struck them down. Discord roared with laughter; he peered inside the cave but it was empty. Knowing he was now unstoppable he whisked him and the alicorns back to his castle.
