Eclipse

Deep in the heart of the beautiful land of Equestria, two sisters governed side-by-side over all the ponies who lived there. However, this was not ALWAYS the case... About 1,000 years ago, the younger sister was filled with jelousy of the older. She was consumed by greed and became the evil Nightmare Moon... She tried to overthrow her older sister but was in turn banished to the moon for 1,000 years. Because the older raised the sun and the younger raised the moon, the turn of events caused the formation of a powerful being who went by the name of Eclipse... Because Princess Luna was cast to the moon, Celestia alone had to use the Elements of Harmony to defeat him. They were, because of this, sealed in stone until later called upon by the unicorn Twilight Sparkle to defeat Nightmare Moon with the help of her 5 friends. Eclipse could not return until the next Solar Eclipse. That wouldn't be for another thousand years...
