The moon then sank beneath the hills and mountains of old.
Whilst these questions and revelations are being made, celestial again sings her sister a song of sleep.
One day my dear sister. One day. She says over and over again so that she might beleive it.
Luna's absence has destroyed celestial.
Her ethereal hair is not there with it replaced with a pink mortal mop.
Luna screams are heard celestia can merely watch in horror as her dearest sisters flesh is melted away in the darkest fires of tartarus.
"Luna WHY", she screams in pain herself, she can't take it she can't go on....
Celestia screams awake. Aegis runs in asking her what is wrong celestial oblivious, the guard sighs as he sees the misery that celestial has to go through.
There is no one that can help the defeated goddess but the one that isn't there.
Luna in her chamber of solitude hums a tune of purpose.
Her wrath has not gone yet she now knows whos fault it 'twas.
"It will pay dearly for the thousand years of torment" luna says as she ready her cloak of stardust and packs the light of stars to guide her way.

Celestial looked shining armour coldly in the eyes. "I shall eat when I want captain, the thought of eating sickens me".
"but". A wave of the goddesses hand silenced the captain of the royal guard. "fine, just try to stay some form of healthy please your not making my job any easier"
Celestial didn't speak at all instead she simply stared up at the moon.
"your highness ?" ,shining started to walk closer to the goddess of day worried for her well being as his job states for him to be so but also as a friend to the once motherly princesses.
Celestial starts to chuckle like a child on hearths warming eve.
Just before shinig was about to get a doctor he noticed that celestial was happy for the first time since he was put in the charge of captain of the royal guard.
He then proceeded to look were celestial had looked.
He gasped. The mare on the moon had dissipated from sight.
Celestial stopped laughing and asked for a glass of water. Shining rather bewildered complied.
With that celestial wept terrified of what might be.
She abruptly stops and then goes for a night walk.
"I pray you may have safe passage to your home dear sister" celestial closes her eyes and ponders on taking up her responsibility once again her own nightmare may finally be lifted....
Or may by its just begun.
"why.... even she left me" the only one I knew
This night is a night of many things a night of loneliness, dreams of a mothers reunited in a magical land worry for a guard walking into a empty room.
With this night however the storm begins as the thing splits in two and the storm begins. One thing is certain history will remember the night the mare in the moon left its confinement and journeyed home.

"shining please tell psalm that I would be greatly honored if she came to visit"
"yes your highness" shining smiles. He finally can see the real, princess Celestia in the full flesh and not just a empty shell.
Equestrian is finally flourishing.
Shining Armour walks through to the confusing labyrinth to the untrained of corridors turns exits and entrance the guards that he passes giving a salute as he passes he walks for sometime in the city of Canterlot to a church with the most beautiful of glass panes.
The door however is locked and after sometime shining leaves the acceptance through the mail box.
Shining then procedures to return to the castle.
Celestial smiles humming a joyful tune soon she shall go to the classroom to teach her little students the wonder of magic.
She walks into the classroom and a purple hired child sits there alone.
"now what might your name be little one" she asks.
Twilight Sparkle, the little child names happy to be with her idle
"id like to join the class.... the tall people said I should come here".
Well how about you come back later with your parents ill be happy to see what you can so.
Twilight smiles content with the answer she got.
"ok", and with that she runs out happily, ready to tell her dearest parents.
Celestial chuckles, oh how she loves her subjects.
"Who are you"

Celestia walked herself to he shrine of magic with the wonderful stained glass windows.
Psalm the preistess met her with a warm smile.
"Its so good to see you psalm" celestia egsubriated happyness.
psalm smiled herface however a simple mask.
"It is good to see you too milady"

celestia shed a tear.
luna fled her past and journeyed for her future.
dusk hugged a sister.
and the sister dawn drew breath.
"how goes the preparations psalm" celestia smiled happily as the sun rose from the hills.
"it goes as planned",psalm also smiles the same smile that was seen on her face yesterday and the day before.
celestia chukled to her self. soon she shall see her again....everything will be ok when she comes back.
"come on keep up dawn", dusk shouted happily as he swung through the mysterious trees were no normal being tread.
dawn did not say anything her face unchanging as she caught of a dark glimmer in her eyes.
"we approach now sister....were are we headed" luna thought as she looked for the kingdom she watcehd over

celestia stood on the stage unfazed by the large crowd of people gathered to see the supposed mother of night.
"today everyone is a umentus day. i shall see my sister and intern so shall you. it has been a thousand years in the making i shall not speak of why she was banished i wish to focus on her return. celestia looked to the preistess psalm spreading the salt and plasing a stone with strange markings of no comprehension to the untrained.
"princesess are you ok" twilight said inocently to the sun godese"
celestia smiled a motherly smile "yes dear infact i am quite happy"
"but arnt you worried at all" twilight asked exsaberated, how could she be so relaxed like this.
"i trust my sister twilight.....thgough i do beleive something must go wrong for it to go right....but worrying about it wont solve anything...will it?"

This story begins over a thousand years ago.
A sisters quarrel and a great evil.
The evil of a oncoming nightmare.
A great thunderclap was heard in the distance, everyone ignorant to the oncoming danger continuing there hard labour on the barren land.
Nothing grows in the dark of the eclipse that has plagued the land for weeks on end.
The people of equestrian are starving.
Celestial sits in her room powerless from exertion and the sapping nature of what is known as the nightmare.
Celestial though is made of stern stuff through her kind, endearing yet resilient character.
The nightmare may have taken her sister but it won't take her. This was a lie it would take her eventually and it would make her enjoy it.
But for the time being nothing came but a warmth then nothing.
Then the moon sank beneath the hills and mountains of old where the very founders of this land had made amends with one another.
Celestial in awe of seeing her charge again in so long dropped her lower jaw in simple adoration.
The nightmare was gone or so it seemed but as celestial searched the castle a daunting realisation occurred to her.
Luna the night mother was gone, her beloved sister was gone.
What had happened.
Had she defeated the nightmare.
Taken it some were else, what in equestrian had happens.
As her sister ran from room to room in the rather empty feeling castle luna watched a small sad expression of two things.
Sadness overwhelming sadness. There was something else though that was more obscure anger and a rath that was not satisfied.
As these avents unfurled a sacrifice was made for reasons yet to come apparent for the excess of a thousand years.
