Apples That Fall

One day, Applejack and Big Macintosh walked down a path that led deep into Sweet Apple Acres, when suddenly, an eerie creak filled the air. Both ponies quickly spun around to investigate only to find themselves caught in the shadow of a giant apple tree sailing towards them.   They barely had time to scream as the tree crashed into them, deafening everything, while the world tumbled into darkness.

"Granny Smith, why are the deeper parts of the apple orchard dangerous?" Apple Bloom asked while rolling out dough.

"Well," Granny Smith thought, "the trees there are very old and have been known to fall."

"Why are more trees falling then? Are the fruit bats doing it?"

"I don't know, dear. Maybe Appl-"

"Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

"Someone screamed! Come on, Granny Smith!"

Both Granny Smith and Apple Bloom raced out of the house leaving everything behind. When they finally reached the source of the noise, the two ponies discovered Applejack and Big Macintosh pinned under the tree and rushed over.

"Are you two okay?" cried Granny Smith.

Silence.

"Applejack! Big Macintosh!" Screeched Apple Bloom hysterically.

"Help..I can't.. lift it." grunted a voice.

"Big Macintosh, is that you? Is Applejack okay?" shouted Granny Smith.

"She's still unconscious." He mumbled hoarsely.

Granny Smith gazed around worriedly.

"We can't lift this and we have to hurry! Where are the others? They should be here by now!" She cried.

Rainbow Dash was laying on a cloud and her cutie mark started glowing, so she flew as fast as she could to the castle. When she arrived, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Twilight were already there.

"It took you long enough," frowned Pinkie Pie.

"I would have been here if my cutie mark had glowed faster." Rainbow Dash said sheepishly.

"We need to get it together girls Applejack is in trouble"twilight said.

"Where is she"said Rainbow Dash frantically.

Twilight made the map appear, "there are five different places to go to"said Twilight confused.

"Why is there five"Pinkie Pie said.

"I have no idea"said Twilight

"Stop asking questions and lets split up"said Rainbow Dash angrily

"I agree with Rainbow Dash"said Rarity

"YA"said Pinkie Pie excitedly

Rainbow Dash landed near the giant apple tree and found the courage to look down at her friends pinned beneath it.
