MLP: The Story Of Winter

    “Who are you talking to Eclipse? Come inside and see Celestia’s daughter!” A dark alicorn asked, standing in the doorway to the balcony “Having one of your ‘Deep Moments’ again? Or are you giving the sky a life lesson? Because if you are, you should at least save those for your foal!” she smiled, walking back into the solar.

“I’m not going to ever have a foal Luna!!” Eclipse called after her, as he walked into the solar too. He grinned as he saw Princess Celestia hold a bundle of blankets in her hooves. Celestia looked up and sighed, Eclipse closed his eyes and rubbed his temple with his hooves “Her name is…….Electro?” He asked “No, thats donning to be Twilight’s daughter!” Celestia goaned as Eclipse closed his eyes once more “........Grace?” “No” “Starla?” “No” “Shanaya?” “No” “Justine?” “No” “Diania Zelda Penelope Isabelle Jennifer Carlon Brandi Fitzgerald Celestia the Second?” “No! Naming a foal after yourself is just dull!” Celestia growled as she stared at Eclipse “Mister Atton Sebaschan Felix Chrysalis Eclipse!”

“Technically she’s not my daughter, I just happened to create the Changeling race and somepony decided to name their foal Chrysalis! You’re just jealous that i accomplished something meaningful and you didn’t!  How many times do we need to-”

“Lets get back on topic! We all decided to have this reunion after 110 years and you two are still acting like children!” Luna growled at Celestia and Eclipse “Just get this reading over with Eclipse!” she ordered as Princess Twilight and Princess Cadance walked into the room.

“Are we interrupting something?” Princess Cadance asked worriedly

“No. We were just getting started, right sister?” Luna growled as Celestia nodded furiously.

“Woah Celestia! I haven’t seen you mane-bash since you were a teenager!” Eclipse snorted as he placed a hoof on the foal’s head

“Straticani Morazini, Canmoplizuji Quetouisik, let this foal’s future and fortune be told, right this very moment!......ik” Eclipse chanted as his red irises expanded,  as his pupils diminished, his eyes became a complete glowing red. “This foal-......er what was her name again?” “Winter” Celestia sighed as Eclipse continued “This foal, Princess Winter Celestia, will be a very fortunate ALICORN!!!!-” Eclipse erupted with a deep voice.

“-No way!-” Princess Twilight mumbled sarcastically.

“-And will have the power of Plastiumewdynz!!!! She will trail off though….and follow her….uh…..cousin’s husband’s footsteps!!!!!!!!! SHE WILL MEET AN UNFORTUNATE DEMISE AT A YOUNG AGE BY A CURSE!!! THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING IS- please deposit another 5 bits to continue this reading” a computerized voice interrupted as Eclipse stopped speaking.

“Does anyone have 5 bits?” Luna asked as everyone shook their heads. Luna went outside to the corridor and asked the three closest guards “Does anyone have five bits?”

“I only have one” The guard on the left said.

“I have two!” The guards on the right said, at the same time. She ran back into the room “I WILL ADD IT ONTO YOUR PAYCHECK!!!” She called as she put the bits into Eclipse’s hoof

“-BY FEEDING HER THIS POTION ON HER 18th BIRTHDAY!!!!” Eclipse stopped, handed a potion to Celestia, and took a breath until continuing with, “SHE WILL THEN KEEP PURSUING THIS DISTRACTION UNTIL SHE BECOMES SMITTEN WITH………” Eclipse stopped as the computerized voice spoke again “The Reading cannot go any farther than its already has! Thank you for choosing ‘Eclipse Readings’ as your reading services! You have two more months until your ‘Gold Membership’ Ends. Would you like to leave a tip?” Eclipse’s hoof robotically held itself out.

Princess Twilight dropped two galleons into it. Everyone stared at her as she said “It was helpful!”

“We still don’t know what the power of Plastiumewdynz is or who my daughter will fall in love with so it isn't helpful!” Celestia stomped her hoof on the ground angrily “You could have gotten a lot farther if you just ordered the ‘Premium Membership!’” Eclipse smirked as he and Luna prepared to leave “You’re going with him Luna?” Celestia asked with her eyebrow raised as Eclipse started to spin in circles swatting at the air laughing.

“I pretty sure he’s drunk tonight. I’m his designated flyer home.” she grinned as Eclipse hung onto her neck.

“Did i ever tell you that you look a lot like Princess Luna?” Eclipse said in a drunken voice.  Then he smiled.

“Just make sure no ‘Funny stuff happens when you get to his palace okay? I dont want my little sister to have a foal yet! Especially with someone you’re not with!” Celestia lectured Luna

“‘Funny Stuff?’ I am not THAT desperate!” She frowned as Cadance and Twilight giggled.

“Speaking of ‘Funny Stuff’ why couldn’t Shining Armor and Flash Century come with us?” Cadance asked Celestia, with a puzzled look on her face.

“Because, its ‘Royalty Only’!.....Plus, Eclipse Doesn’t get along with stallions well when he’s ‘tipsy’” Celestia answered somberly.

“You mean when he’s over the top drunk!” Twilight corrected, all three Princesses laughed.

“Let’s Get you home big guy!” Luna laughed as she held the drunk Alicorn's hoof ,  dragging him across the skies to his castle.

“Did I ever tell you the story of how i got this wine?” Eclipse asked as he pulled out a red bottle, Luna looked around and smirked

"No, I guess you haven’t.”

‘He’s charming, what’s a little drink going to hurt?’ Luna thought.

Luna and Eclipse didn’t return to his palace until the next morning…

Celestia woke up, with bright stands of ghostly moonlight filtering in through the window.  She thought to herself, 'Shouldn't the sun be up by now?' She then remembered her role as princess of the sun.  She hurriedly got out of her fluffy and round bed.  She quickly rose the sun, and then was walking back to her bed sleepily, when she heard something.  At first she thought it was just her imagination, until she heard it loud and clear.  It was a foal crying. She stood dumbstruck as she remembered the previous night.  She shook her head to break out of her trance, and ran to the door. A yellow film wrapped around the door as it swung open, revealing a long bright hallway.  Celestia then ran the short distance to the room next to her's and gently opened the door. A bright yellow crib was in the middle of the room, with a white foal with cream hair lying down in plush red blankets. The room was enormous and was flanked on either side with gigantic book shelves.  Also scattered around the room were foal toys and a rocking chair.  In one corner was a yellow and white play set.   Celestia looked around the room, and then back to Winter. The foal suddenly stopped crying and looked into Celestia's violet irises.

"Patota"

Celestia heart did a little flutter. Winter was just adorable, her dark blue eyes staring straight back at her.

"Oh, aren't you just the cutest little thing!" Celestia said, while playing with Winter's back hooves. "What am I going to do with you?" Celestia thought hard. "I don't know if I should homeschool you or not." Just as Celestia thought about that idea, Princess Luna and Prince Eclipse, came stumbling in laughing.

"Ha, ha, ha, good one I'll have to save that fo-" Luna stopped suddenly gazing at Celestia, with Winter in the background.

"What's wrong Luna... Oh, he he. Hi Celestia." Eclipse laughed nervously as Celestia stared him down.

"Did we interrupt something?" Luna asked, an embarrassed look on her face.

"Not at all." Celestia responded with her hooves still around Winter's. "Here let me get winter out of her crib and we can go into the living area." As Celestia wrapped her hooves around Winter's small body, she looked at Luna. Only then did she realize that her sister had gained a few extra pounds in the midsection. "Luna am I just imagining it or did you gain a few pounds?"

Luna glanced nervously at the ground while she said, "Um... he he he. It's nothing... I just... ate a lot last night." Luna chuckled nervously as she brushed against the stallion's next to her.

"Right..." Celestia said slowly as she lifted Winter up and held her on her back. "Well you can tell me all about it later but right now, let's go into the living space for some tea."

Princess Celestia laid down the foal in her crib once more, then walked out of the room closing the door behind her.

“Can you repeat that?” Celestia asked her sister as she bit her bottom lip.

“Eclipse and I were a bit…..” Luna’s ears flopped down, getting lost in her messy mane.

“Drunk?” she shouted stomping a hoof on the floor.

“We were just having a bit of fun!” Luna whimpered

“Fun? Your only job was to fly him back home, come back, and lower the moon!!! Not get drunk and sleep with our nemesis!” Celestia yelled back

“Our Nemesis? He is supposed to be the balance between the two of us! And you are the one who makes a big deal out of him!" Luna scoffed

"You two calm down right now!" Eclipse growled as he cut in front of the two sisters

"Oh!!! Get a load of this!!! You asking me to shut up!" Celestia growled back, her horn glowing gold.

"I'm sorry, what did you say? I can't hear what you're saying because those words are coming straight out of your arse!" Eclipse snapped at Celestia.

Celestia screamed as she raised her horn high and shot Eclipse with a bright gold beam flat on his chest. He stumbled back, a hoof held to his heart as Luna gasped. He muttered something to her under his breath, and he went galloping towards Celestia. She was afraid and couldn't think. As soon as she saw Eclipse run she shot a bolt of green light at him, he had stopped and fallen down with blood trickling from his wing. He slowly raised the wing to see blood gushing out a wound, Luna fainted at the sight of it.

"All this for little ol' me?" Eclipse chuckled as he rose up from the floor, half of his coat covered with crimson

"DIE YOU MARE USER!!!" Celestia screamed, she shot another bolt at him.

  Eclipse's pupils and whites of his eyes disappeared like the previous night, he open his mouth and ate the bolt in mid-air. He then casually walked up to her, his slightly taller form looking down at her. She panicked and grabbed a tray  holding a kettle of hot tea and smashed it into his face, he shrieked, his irises shrinking and revealing the rest of his eyes. Three guards slammed through the door shortly after.

"Are you alright Princess?" The guards asked in unison. They suddenly saw the stallion stumbling back screaming.

"Was he attacking you Princ-" The guards all froze and toppled over, each of their limp bodies lying on the next.

"Sorry about that kind sirs, you were only doing your job!" Eclipse appoligized with a large grin

"Oh my goodness! Your face!" Celestia gasped as she saw burn marks on the young prince's face, with Jasmine tea dripping from his muzzle.

"Ekk! Jasmine tea is disgusting!" Eclipse spit

Eclipse shot a black bolt at Celestia. He opened his wings and flew out the window. She extended her wings out and she flew out the window to dodge the bolt and also keep up with the now irritated Prince. They were both flying in the sky, and whoever made the first move would win. No defence was possible since both alicorns were injured under their wings. Luna had awoken and ran to the window with her hooves on the windowsill, she witnessed in horror as both of her loved ones shot beams of light at each other. The beams, still connected to each alicorn's horn, locked with the other, creating a ball of pure energy between the beams. Eclipse and Celestia noticed this and started pouring more energy into the beams of light, the ball moving sneakily from side to side. Celestia then closed her eyes and transformed into 'Nightmare Flare', it was a lot like Nightmare moon, but with golden armour instead of silver. Nightmare Flare then intensified the beam of light, pushing the ball towards the exasperated Eclipse, who sighed as he stopped the beam and took a low to his chest once more, with both the ball of light and the beam. He was knocked back, flying unconsciously towards the unknown......never to be seen again.

Luna screamed and ran out the door of the now destroyed room, tears streaming her face.

"Read all about it! Read all about it! Prince Eclipse and Princess Celestia fight to the death! Eclipse pronounced dead! His Fiancee Princess Luna devastated as the kingdom splits in half!" A newspony calls out in the Manehattan streets as he is crowded by ponies holding out bits to buy the newspaper.
