Prolouge: Humanity Versus Harmony

Two steel swords clashed against each other, emitting sparks as hot as fire. One of the two swords had a golden handle with marking carved into it's hilt. The marks were Equestrian letters, spelling "The Sword of the Sun". The sword was being held in magical, iron grip by non other then Celestia, the said riser of Equises sun. She was dressed in shining, golden armor that covered he entire being, except for her head, which had a crown sitting on it.

The other sword was made entirely of steel, minus the end of the handle. The bottom of the handle had a red cross forged onto it, signaling it's belonging to the humans. The holder of the sword had a tight, two handed grip on the grey handle. His hands were covered in chainmail and plates of steel. His arms were in a similar state, but had thicker plating and less chainmail. The humans breastplate was twice as thick as his arms, while also having many more chains then his gauntlets. His hips had round steel plates hanging off of them, giving extra protection to his thighs. His hip also had a red cloth with a white cross draped over his legs, while hanging down to his ankles. His legs had a similar design to his arms, but only being covered in steel plates. His boots were a copy of his gauntlets, but made for feet. The last piece of armor was his helmet. It was strange compared to most helmets. Instead of a big opening that exposing the wearers face, the helmet only had small slits for the armored being to see out of.

The human pushed with great force, making the pink haired Celestia slide backwards. The heavily armored human spun around and swung his claymore sized long sword at Celestia with one hand. Celestia barely got her sword up in time to block the fatal blow. She pushed the sharp blade away, before thrusting her sword at the human. The steel clad being raised his arm up, causing the blade to run along the outside of his forearm.

The knight swung his sword down diagonally, cutting through his opponent's chest piece like it was butter. The pink haired mare screamed in agony as the blade tore through her flesh with ease. Using the momentum of his swing, the massive being spun around. His foot was covered in a white aura that lead a trail behind it. The humans foot connected with Celestia's white face, making her launch sideways.

She bounced and slid across the muddy ground till she came to a complete stop. Celestia slowly opened her teary eyes. She began to look at the carnage and death around her, making her regret ever going to war with the humans. The more she looked over the battle, the more she realized the her soldier never stood a chance against a force like the humans.

Her eye drifted to one of her soldiers fighting another steel clad human. The pony slashed towards the towering human, but the knight caught it in his palm. The pony tugged on the handle with her magic, but it was stuck. The human ripped the sword out of her grip, but to only toss it to the side. He had put so much pressure on the steel blade, that it was bent. The human grabbed her face and lifted her of her white hooves. He reared back, then slammed the poor mare into the ground with enough force to burst her head like a watermelon.

Celestia felt a huge pressure on her throat as she was lifted in the air. She turned back towards the grey knight with a face of sorrow, but closed her eyes soon after to wait for death.

The human reared his sword back, ready to thrust it's steel blade into the awaiting mare's chest. Before he could, a thundering voice yelled "STOP!". Turning his head towards the voice, the human saw a dark blue alicorn with cyan hair. Said alicorn was charging towards him at tremendous speeds with a spear pointed forwards.

After dropping the mare from his grip, he rolled to the side just in time. After completing the roll, the knight's fist began to glow white like his foot did earlier. He ponded his fist into the ground, causing a stone spick to rise from the ground under Luna.

Luna rolled out of the way of the stone pillar. Shaking her head, she turn towards her injured sister. "Sister, art thou alright?" Luna asked with worry.

Celestia began to stand, but a arrow found it's mark in her left hind leg. She screamed in agony as she crashed to the ground.

"Sister!" Luna shouted. She took two steps towards her sister, but was interrupted by the sound of a swinging sword. Rolling once more, Luna dodge a deadly blow meant for her neck.

Luna turned towards her attacker, but to only find that the knight was pointing his sword tip at her. Luna grabbed her sword with her magic and charged at the awaiting swordsman.

Celestia, on the other hand, was having problems of her own. A archer was standing over her with his short sword above his head, ready to end her life in a heart beat. The light armored human brought his short blade down, but Celestia rolled to safety, causing the blade to get stuck in the ground.

Celestia spotted her sword near by. Grabbing it with her magic, she slashed at her opponent, forcing him to handspring backwards. Putting her hooves under herself, Celestia pushed up to a standing position, despite the pain.

Now up, Celestia got a good look at her opponent. He was wearing mostly leather with chainmail underneath, but his gauntlets were made of a plate of steal with fingerless gloves attached to them. His boots were similar to the steel clad human she was fighting earlier, but the looked much lighter. His chest and sides were covered in small knives along with two bigger ones.

He charged forwards and slashed at Celestia. Jumping backwards, the pinked headed mare dodged the blade. Celestia swung a leg sweep with her sword, but the leather covered man jumped over it with practiced ease.

Now his turn, the human did several quick slashes, but each was blocked by Celestia. Seeing his strikes failed, be rolled backwards, dodging a high swing meant for his head.

Pulling out a small knife, the human threw it at Celestia's shoulder. The small razor stroke true, causing the pink haired mare to scream in agony for the third time today. With Celestia distracted with the small knife, the leather clad being charged towards her, shoulder first. With grunt, Celestia was thrown onto her back. Sitting on her chest was the human with his sword draw, ready to take the sun's life.

In a blink of a eye, human was blasted with dark blue magic, causing Celestia to get a red shower. Turning her head towards the knelling down human, she saw he had a arm missing.

Luna swung her sword at the armored knight, but to only be pushed away by the humans blade.

The human spun around with a two handed grip on his sword. His sword clashed against Luna's, causing it to spin away from her. The sharp blade embedded itself within the ground.

The human swung his steel at her, but she rolled under it towards her sword. Grabbing the sword in a dark blue aura, Luna slashed at the knight, but he deflected it with a swing of his own.

Both, Luna and the knight traded blow after blow, nether willing to back down. The knight grabbed the handle of his sword with two hand before swinging towards Luna with all his power. Seeing what the human was doing, Luna swung with as much magical force as she could muster. The two swords clashed together, causing hot sparks to fall on each others armor.

The knight took a quick look over his opponent. Luna was wearing a purple armor with silver plates through out it. The purple looked to be some kind of alloy, or it was just stained. Similar to her sister, Luna had a crown atop her head instead of a helmet.

Both opposing forces pushed with all there might, making each other slide backwards. The knight reared his arm back, before thrusting forwards, only missing Luna due to her teleporting.

The human spun around with his sword out stretched. His sword and Luna's clashed together, making each other recoil. Spinning around in the opposite direction, the knight clashed swords with Luna once more.

The two began to swing in union, there blade bouncing off one another after each swing. Catching Luna by surprise, instead of swinging his blade, the human caught Luna's blade in his palm. Blood ran down the blade, but despite that, the knight pulled the blade away from Luna and threw it behind him.

Using his injured hand, the human punched the dark blue mare in the snout, making her fly back several feet. Luna landed on the ground, hard. Her muzzle was bleeding profoundly, but that is not what concerned her the most. What concerned her was that her sister was knocked onto her back with a human on her chest. The human had a small sword above his head that would surly take her sisters life.

Quickly charging her horn, Luna shot a bolt of magic at the human above her sister. The bolt struck it in the shoulder, causing it's whole shoulder to explode in a wave of blood, flesh, and bone.

Hearing the sound of a sword cutting through the air, Luna looked up, but to only have her pupils to turn to the size of raisins and her ears fold backwards. The grey knight had walked over to the downed Luna and raised his sword above his head, much like how the archer did to Celestia, but with two hands instead of one. The blade shot down towards Luna.

Fortunately for Luna, the knights aim was off, making the blade impale Luna's shoulder instead of her chest. The cyan headed mare screamed in pain as the knight twisted it before taking it back out. The knight raised the sword back up, but before the blade came back down, a booming voice yelled "NO!". Turning towards the voice, the knights eyes widened at the sight of a golden handled sword coming strait for him.

The sword pierced right through his right shoulder, making him fly backwards.

Celestia starred at the mutilated body for a few more seconds before hearing the screams of her sister. Turning her head, she saw a sight that filled her with dead. Her sister had a sword impaled through her. Spotting her sword, she grabbed it with her magic. Screaming "NO!" with her royal voice, she through the sword at her sisters attacker.

The sword impaled him through his shoulder.

Painfully, Celestia stood back up from her prone position. She herd a grunt to her right, only to find the armless human was back on his feet and ready to fight. Blood poured out of his new stub, but he paid no mind to it.

Celestia pulled the knife out her shoulder with a whimper. Quickly, she threw the knife back at it's owner. The human saw the knife, but due to his blood lose, did not move. It struck him right in the forehead, killing him instantly.

Turning towards were her sister is, Celestia began to limp over to her.

Seeing her sister coming, Luna began to stand, but was suddenly kicked in the side by another knight. This one was slightly different. Instead of a red cloth and white cross, this knight had a white cloth instead of a red one and a red cross instead of a white cross.

Celestia began to pick up the pace, but was also kick and sent hurdling towards her sister. She crashed into her sister, causing herself and her sister to scream in pain.

Surrounding them were multiple knights and archers. A knight in black armor with golden lining stepped forwards. This, according to the royal sisters knowledge, was a general. There armor is made of ebony and the cloth they wear is black with a red cross. He pointed his black bladed sword towards the sister and calmly said "Yield."

1300 Years Later: Canterlot

Celestia was laying in bed, looking up towards her marble ceiling. She hated that memory. It was the first day she join her soldiers in war, but she deeply regretted it. Every time she thinks of the memory, she has the erg to puke. "At least the humans are no more. That was the first time my sister and I used the Elements of Harmony." Celestia thought.

With a sigh, she rolled onto her side and drifted into a disturbed sleep.
