Chapters Twilight Sparkle walked into Sugar Cube Corner a few days after Cheese’s visit to pick up some cakes for the royal summit coming up soon. She found Pinkie quietly humming “Super Party Ponies” under her breath. “Pinkie?” Twilight asked “You all right?”
“Mmmm? Yeah I’m fine. I assume you came for the deserts? They are ready in the back,” Pinkie Pie responded. "One sec, I'll go get them. "
"Pie making? Wow, that's a new one." Twilight chuckled. Suddenly Pinkie came out of the back carting two large cakes.
"WHY (huff) ARE THESE THINGS SO HEAVY?" Pinkie said to no one in particular. Sweetie Belle responded with a "DUH! They're for Princess Celestia and Luna. Only the best for them!"
"OK, well, Twilight better take them or I'll be a Flattie Pie!" Pinkie Pie said as the cakes were encased in a magenta glow, the color of Twilight's magic. "I'll bring them home now to save for the summit. Thanks again!"
"OK, she's gone. Now whose ready to make pie? Pinkie said with a forced smile.
After 3 or 4 hours of pie making, the Crusaders were still cutiemarkless. "Awww, Ah thought this was gonna be it!" Apple Bloom said.
Finally, Pinkie thought to herself, some peace and quiet. She trotted up to her room. Now she had time to think about him. Cheese. Cheese Sandwich. Oh how Pinkie missed him. His smile, his laugh, his easygoing nature. Oh, if only he was here. But he was gone. He was in Canterlot, or Trottingham, or Celestia knows where.
"Oh, Boneless. I miss him and I love him so very much. He'll laugh if I tell him that I love him, and my friends will surely tell him. Oh what should I do?" "No I can't call him, that would be stupid. I'm also banned from the telephone." "No, I won't tell you why." "Uh.. yeah, I can use Twilight's phone but still.""FINE, I'll call him but I won't tell him I like him." "Of course I like him. I also happen to love him."...Ugh, Boneless, I'm going now." Pinkie Pie slowly trotted down the stairs and out the door, waving to the Cakes as she went past. Once she hit the street, Pinkie went into a gallop and soon a canter as she raced to Twilight's. She burst in the door saying "Twilight, can I use your telephone? Please? I promise not to break it!"
"Uh, Pinkie now's really not not the best time..." Twilight said, trying to keep her voice low.
"Reallllllllllllly? Why?" said Pinkie, almost shouting.
"Well, well. Twilight, are you trying to hide the fact that I'm here?" That voice. Pinkie knew it. It was cold yet projected an image of craziness. Oh yes. Pinkie knew that voice quite well.
"Ah, you remember me." said Discord.
"Uh Pinkie, he is. He needed me to answer a question." Twilight managed to say.
"Oh. Can I use your phone now?" Pinkie replied, once again her bubbly self.
"Uh...sure?" Twilight said, shrugging. "Discord, you can go home now."
"Ok." he said, leaving the two mares alone.
Pinkie was already on the phone, dialing Cheese's number. "Hello... "

Cheese collapsed outside The Friendship Castle, completely out of breath. "Pinkie, I huff made it." he said before going unconscious.
Twilight woke up the next morning and realized it was Monday, time for a meeting. She called all of her friends over for the annual friendship council. She called Mrs. Cake's private phone to let her know that Pinkie had to come over. Rarity was first to make it and she let out a scream that could be heard all the way to the farthest town in Equestria when she saw Cheese collapsed on the steps.
"Rarity?" Applejack said when she heard her friend's scream. "What the hay is going on?" She arrived at the steps to see the same thing Rarity saw: Cheese collapsed on the steps. "Pinkie!" she hollered.
Pinkie was on her way to the castle when she heard Rarity's scream and Applejack's yell. What did I do this time? she wondered, galloping the rest of the way there. When she made it, her response to Cheese was: "Oh. Hi!" Rainbow, who had just gotten there, face-hoofed along with everyone else, including Fluttershy. " What? " Pinkie said, "He's just sitting there." which was followed by another round of face-hoofs. "Pinkie" Twilight said, choosing her words carefully, "He's unconscious." Just then Cheese woke up with groan. "Oh, hi Cheese!" Pinkie said. "You came!"
"Well, of course I came! I wouldn't miss the chance to see you for all the kazoos in the world!"
"Uh... what does that mean?" Rainbow whispered to Rarity. Rarity replied, "It's Pinkie and Cheese. Don't question it." "Again, what does that mean?" Rainbow replied with a hint of annoyance. Rarity rolled her eyes. "They like-like each other. It's quite obvious." "What does like-like mean?" Rainbow said, followed by a facehoof from Rarity. "They LOVE each other, Rainbow. Even if it's not obvious to you."

"Okay, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, it's time we got those two party ponies together." Sweetie Belle said, an evil smile overtaking her face.
"Uh, Sweets, do ya remember the last time we meddled in somepony else's love life?" Apple Bloom said, frowning at the site of Sweetie Belle's smile.
"Yeah, love poison, Cheerilee, Big Mac?" Scootaloo said, also becoming concerned at the sight of Sweetie's smile.
"Yes. And that's why I brought someone else this time." Sweetie Belle replied, her smile growing even bigger. " Meet our new pony love expert, even though he isn't a pony, DISCORD!"
"SWEETIE BELLE, YOU'RE AN IDIOT!" came the roars of the other two CMCs as Discord appeared.
"Well, I think idiot's a little strong, don't you?" Discord said as he slithered around the CMC.
"After all, I am in love myself..."
"Huh?" The CMC were confused by his last statement.
"Oops, misspoke. I have seen love in action..." But the first one was true too... he thought.The way her hair flows, and her tenderness.. "So, what do you say, Missies? Am I in?"
"*sigh* Fine, Discord. You may stay and help us get Cheese and Pinkie together." Apple Bloom grudgingly agreed.
"I dunno, I still don't think this is a good idea.. Eh, whatever. As long as there are no spells or potions involved." Scoots said.
"Okay, so what do we do first?" Discord asked.
" How about stay out of their lives, does that sound good?" A voice said from above the four schemers.
"*gulp* Uh... sure, Twi. Maybe." Sweetie Belle choked out.
"Okay...." Twilight said. " Just leave Pinkie and Cheese alone, okay?
"Okay!" came the chorus of the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
"Good."Twilight said.
Once she had gone back inside, Discord materialized out of thin air and said "We're not going to listen to her, right?"
"Not one little bit." Sweetie said.
'"Ok, CMC and Discord Shippers Go!" Scootaloo said as they ran out to make some plans.
"Muhaha, my little ponies. How bout we play a little game I call... THE DISCORD DATING GAME!"
Suddenly, the Crusaders were sitting in a game show area, the audience part of it, specifically. There was disembodied clapping, and Discord himself appeared on the...stage?
'Uh, Discord, I know we said you could help but- " Scootaloo began.
"And we really appreciate your help-" Apple Bloom continued.
"THIS ISN'T WHAT WE MEANT!" The three shouted at once.
"Oh. Well, you're gonna have to live with it cuz it's time for the Discord Dating Game!" Discord said, once aagain receiving clapping from the disembodied things.
"Meet your first bachelor for our sweet little mare to choose from... CHEESE SANDWICH! "
"Hey, what the- SWEET MOONBUTT, WHERE AM I?!" Cheese said taking in all of his surroundings.
"Okay, after that um, enthusiastic, response, let's meet our next bachelor, or should I say, bachelorette, RAINBOW DASH!"
" Uh...hi?" Rainbow said, still a little confused.
" Ugh, you ponies are the opposite of entertainment. And now our final bachelor, BIG MAC!"
" Huh?" Big Mac said, as for some reason he is unable to freak out.
"Ugh, again. No fun! Oh well...Here's tonight's mare, Miss Pinkie Diane Pie!"
"Wait, Pinks? I can't do this. " Cheese said, only to find his voice high and squeaky.
"PINKIE?! Uh, no thanks. I'm not that kinda mare... wait, what happened to my voice? I sound like Vinyl!" Rainbow said, indeed souding like the DJ.
Big Mac said nothing
"Aw, c'mon! Everyone knows you are!" Discord said.
"I'm really not... oh, screw it, I won't get anywhere with arguing." Rainbow said, giving up.
"Good. Now , let's begin!" Discord said as the lights went black.

I had to ask DisneyFanatic for the idea. Actually, the way I came up for the bachelors and bachelorette was by looking up "common pinkie pie ships" on the internet.

"You do?" Pinkie asked, completely puzzled, tears starting to stream down her face.
"Oh, uh, that's, um, nice. I, uh, need some time, uh, bye!" The words tumbled out of Pinkie's mouth and she turned and galloped out the door.
"YOU'RE AN IDIOT, CHEESE!" Rainbow shouted, furious. "GAH! IF I EVER MPPHMH!" Doscord zipped her mouth shut as the CMC (minus Scootaloo) and their sisters joined them.
"I heard shouting. What did Discord do?" Rarity asked.
"It wasn't me!"
"Suuuuuure." Applejack rolled her eyes. "And the fact that Rainbow's mouth is zipped shut is an accident?"
"It wasn't! Well, yes, I zipped shut Rainbow's mouth, but still!" Discord protested.
"Scootaloo, where are we?" a new voice asked.
"Finally! What took you so long, Flutters?" Rarity asked. "We need you to set Discord straight."
"What did he do?"
"Another dating game. Why were you sooooo late?"
"Answers later. Discord, come."
"But-"
"NOW!"
Discord relented. "I love it when she gets angry like that." Everypony looked at him quizzically. "What? She's pretty." He replied, earning a double facehoof from everypony. "Whaaaaaaat? Like I said, she's pretty, sweet, kind, loving..."
"Mmmmmm!" Dash protested against her zippered mouth.
"Oh, yes, sorry Dashie. Here ya go. " Discord raised his claw and waved away the zipper as Fluttershy pulled him away.
"So, ya gonna tell them it wasn't Discord's fault?" Rainbow asked with a smirk on her face.
Cheese sighed. "Not now. I need to go talk to Pinkie."
"Why not now, darling? If he's really innocent, it will help." Rarity asked, concerned.
"Yeah, sugahplum. Jus' tell us." Applejack added.
"C'mon, they'll forgive ya." Rainbow coaxed.
"PWEEAASSE?" The CMC asked, puppy dog eyes on full power.
"I said, NOT NOW!" Cheese growled as he bolted out the door.
"Wow. Puppy-dog eye resistant. Impressive." Sweetie Belle remarked.

After the Dating Game disaster, Cheese had bolted outside to find Pinkie. Now, as he was doing so, the omnipresent force that is bad luck decided it hadn't punished him enough, and therefore this conversation happened.
"Hi, Pinkie." Cheese said, carefully.
"What do you want?!?!" The pink mare exclaimed, her face streaked with tears.
" I just want to talk."
"Well, I don't. Go away now, thank you for stopping by."
"Please. I brought cake."
"Oh, so now you're bribing me with cake."
"No!"
"Yes."
"Fine. But only cause I want to make you happy again." Cheese had a point. Pinkie's hair had flattened out, and she looked like she had been put through the emotional mill. Which, of course, she actually had.
"I'm still not talking to you."
"Y'know what I said back there was true, right?"
"Yes, I'm perfectly aware you bribed me with *mfphnf* cake.
"You know what I mean."
Pinkie sighed. "I know."
Cheese sat down next to her. "So, do you, like, like me that way too?"
Pinkie's eyes widened in surprise. "Why, you scruffy-looking nerph-herder! You have no idea who I like and don't like. But for the record, I don't like you all that much right now!" She turned and took off as fast as she could possibly gallop.
Cheese just looked puzzled. "Scruffy-looking?"

Cheese Sandwich was walking to his next destination with Boneless 2 on his back when he collapsed on the path crying. "Boneless 2!" he sobbed. "I miss her. I MISS PINKIE!!" "You can help me...find her?" " Really?" "Na, you can't." "Really?" "You can?" "Well then, let's go!" "Wait, whadda ya mean I don't need to go anywhere? Of course I need to go somewhere to find Pinkie." Oh, He thought to himself, I can call her. Now where is my phone? He thought. Cheese sat down to find his phone."No, not here. Not here either. Where is it? Aha! Here it is." He dialed Pinkie's number only to find he had a call from Princess Twilight Sparkle herself! "EEP! Better answer that."
"Hello, Cheese Sandwich speaking."
"Hi Cheese, it's Pinkie!"
"What, why? Don't you have your own phone?"
"Yeah, but the Cakes banned me from using it."
"Oh. That makes sense."
"Yeah, so you wanna come to PONYVILLE today? There's all sorts of parties to be planned. "
"Uh,sure?"
"YAY! See you when you get here!"

He walked over to Pinkie and handed her a small stack of cards. "Ask away, m'dear!"
"Okay. First up. If I showed up to a date with my dress in tatters, my makeup a mess, and my hair flying everywhere, what would you do?" Pinkie asked.
Cheese started in his now squeaky voice. "Well, I'd laugh a little, and if you didn't laugh back, I'd stop. I would probably also take you home and we'd have dinner there."
Rainbow was up next. "Oh, I'd, uh... probably tell you to take it off and we'd continue."
"Nope. We'd go home. And you'd leave. We'd have a raincheck. " Big Mac said, his voice quiet and soft, almost girlish.
"Next question. What's your favorite color?"
"Uh... is rainbow a color?" Rainbow questioned.
Discord rolled his eyes. "Sure."
"Red." Big Mac said.
"Pink!" Cheese replied excitedly. "Like, light cotton candy pink. "
"That's my coat color!" Pinkie squealed as Cheese blushed behind the curtain.
"Okay. Final question. Do you know me in real life? If so, do you like me romantical-Discord!"
"Just ask." Discord grumbled.
"Fine. Do you like me romantically? " Pinkie submitted to Discord.
"NO!" Big Mac and Rainbow chorused.
Should I say yes? Oh, I don't know! "Yes." Cheese responded quickly, attempting to "rip the band-aid off", as some would say.
Pinkie froze in her tracks.
