The Princess's daughter and her predicament
"Mom!" I screamed. I tapped on my mom's lolling head with my grape-purple hoof. She didn't respond. I think she was trying to cast a spell, because her lavender horn was emitting sparkles of pink electricity.
"Go to the princess," Mom whispered before she fell in a coma. "She can help you." A evil laughter was heard throughout the vacant castle. I watched my mother fall under a coma that she may not wake up to. I quickly galloped out of the castle to seek help from the princess.
My name is Sparkle Shield. I'm Princess Twilight Sparkle's and Sir Flash Sentry's daughter. My mom is currently under a coma and she can't wake up. It started a few years ago when I was still a young filly. The evil Changeling , Queen Chrysalis has returned. I heard my mom telling me stories about her and her friends encountering her at my aunt's wedding. My aunt is Princess cadance, the Princess of Love.
Right now my dad is on a secret mission for Prince Shining Armor. (my uncle), and without my mom , I'm as vulnerable as a newborn filly.
Using my saved up bits I took the train to Canterlot to tell Princess Celestia and my best friend Princess Twinkle Belle, the daughter of princess Cadance and Shining Armor, what was going on. Upon arriving at the royal city, I quickly galloped to the throne room. I saw Twinkle reading a book besides Princess Celestia's throne. Once she noticed me I collided into her sobbing uncontrollably.
" Sparks what's wrong?" Twinkle asked.
She was three years older than me, making her thirteen- years-old, but she was tall and mature for her age. Twinkle stroked my purple and silver mane. Wings trembling I looked up at my friend and Princess Celestia unable to speak.
Oh. One more thing that I should also mention, I'm also an alicorn Princess. Princess Celestia looked up at me.
" What's wrong my little pony?" She asked in a gentle tone.
I sighed and told them that my mom was under a mysterious coma, and I couldn't wake her. I also reminded the princesses that my dad was on a secret mission, and I knew that I couldn't call him back. The news horrified Twinkle Belle, she was about to make her way to Ponyville, where my mom's castle was. Princess Celestia stopped her.
" I know how bad this sounds, and if it's the 'coma' that I think it is, Princess Twilight does not have much time. Sparkle Shield, are you willing to do what it takes to save your mother?" I was shocked, was I supposed to handle this on my own?
" Why me? Isn't this a job for the elements of Harmony?" I cried as tears rolled down my cheeks. I'm just a filly. I'm just Ten years old! There's no way I can do this!" My throat was sore after crying a lot and my body was still shaking.
Princess Celestia wrapped a gentle, white wing around me.
" Sparkle, there are times when one has to do this alone but, are you really alone?" I looked up at the two princesses smiling sadly at me. I was slightly confused.
" Your mother will always be with you a well as your friends no matter where you go they will always be right here." Princess Celestia said placing a hoof on the left side of my chest where my heart was.
Snapping me back into reality I was suddenly tackled to the floor in a group hug. I looked up as I saw my three older crusader friends smiling happily.
" She's right Spar' ! " We've been through a lot ever since we first met," Apple Bloom said. Her cutie mark, a plank of wood and hammer ,seems to stand out.
" We know ya shy, but ya gotta do this for every pony's sake....the princess told us not to tell you this but you have a important mission to complete."
I was too confused, and nervous at this.
" Apple Bloom is right," Celestia said. " Your mother told me not to do this unless was necessary , and it is. You have a very special talent that can change our future, but in order to do this you'll have to travel back in time."
" How is travelling back in time so special?" I asked.
" Once you travel back in time, you'll automatically change our future and possibly the past. The reason why this is so risky is because you may no longer be here."
Princess Celestia said.
"WHAT!" I gasped. " So ,if I do this, I can I can save my mom's life but I'll die?"

I knew the song because my mom had a record of the song. The line that sweetie Belle was singing was my favorite. I looked at Sweetie Belle's cutie mark: a pink heart with two music notes seemed to glow as she sung. " It ain't no matter where we go we always find a way home .
Scootaloo chimed in singing along with Sweetie Belle flowed by Apple Bloom. The three sung my favorite song to cheer me up. I looked at Scootaloo' s mark on her flank a flaming wheel seemed to be on fire!
"Thanks guys!" I smiled. My cutie mark seemed to be also glowing along with them. My cutie mark is a six pointed star similar to my mom's with a lightning bolt through the center it felt hot. I looked up at the two princesses with a serious expression.
" Okay I'll do it!." Hang on mom just a little longer. I'll save you I promise. I thought to myself. Everypony gathered in a circle. Princess Cadence gave me a hug and nuzzled my neck.
"Promise me you'll be safe. I know you'll come back to us. " My aunt said tears flowing down her cheeks. I couldn't speak at all. My throat was dry from crying to much and my heart ached. Why does this have to happen? Why is a Queen from several moons ago seeking revenge on my mother? I took a deep breath , and I looked at Princess Celestia , my aunt and my friends that I will always cherish.
"Be safe Sparkle Shield, I have faith in you, this world lies in your hooves. " Celestia said.
The two Princesses emitted there magic arara around me and I was automatically teleported to the past. I had no idea what to do. I guess I just need to find Twilight Sparkle, and tell her what's going on. I wonder how she'll react when she finds out i'm her future daughter.
