"Take THAT! And THAT! And-"

"Button! It's time for school! You don't want to be late!" Love Tap yelled upstairs.

"COMING!" Button Mash yelled. Button Mash put his controller on the ground as his T.V. screeched "GAME OVER!" He quickly grabbed his backpack and propeller hat and rushed downstairs. "LOVE YOU BYE MOM!" He yelled as he rushed out the door. Unlike most kids, Button was excited for school. He wanted to see if he could make any friends, considering making friends in his old schools always failed. But he would not give up. As he galloped towards the classroom he saw 3 fillies with red capes on their backs smack hooves and shout something he couldn't hear because of how distant they were.

"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS GYMNISTS, YAY!" The CMC shouted. Scootaloo was jumping at the idea of a new chance to get her cutie mark. Applebloom and Sweetiebelle rolling their eyes at Scootaloo's foalish behavior.

"C'mon Scootaloo, why can't we try singing later?" Sweetiebelle asked.

"Cuz singing's lame. It's so....... Bland." Scootaloo

"It can be fun!"

"Can not!"

"Can too!" Sometimes I really don't like Scootaloo, Sweetiebelle thought. As she looked away to stop fighting she noticed a good thing and a bad thing. The good thing, a colt Sweetiebelle didn't know was walking towards the school, whitch meant a possible new friend. The bad thing, she saw two hurricanes heading toward said colt. And the two hurricane's names were Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. "Uh oh."

As Button saw two fillies approaching him he was so excited! New friends, he thought. As they got closer he knew he was wrong. They had sinister smiles that fed on misfortune. Button slowed to a halt, and brought out his JoyBoy so they wouldn't bother him. It didn't work.

"Hey Blank Flank!" The pink one said. "I'm Diamond Tiara, and that's Silver Spoon. What's that you got there?"

"I'm B-B-Button Mash, and it's n-nothing important." Button stammered.

"Oh, sure looks important," Diamond Tiara said. "Mind if I take a closer look?" She took it out of his hooves and (being the demon spawn as it is) promptly broke it in two.

Button just stared at the ground. Hating both himself for letting Diamond so easily take it, and Diamond for breaking it. He wouldn't allow himself to cry, considering he was now nearly done in 7th grade.

Diamond and Silver walked off laughing at their "accomplishment."

Button continued to walk, his gallop turned into a slow trudge.

He felt a hoof on his shoulder and heard (in his opinion) an angelic voice say "Are you okay? Those two bully everypony."

Button turned to see a snow white coat with emerald eyes and a mane that was a beautiful set of pink and purple. The only thoughts going through Button's head were 'That is a really pretty mare!' "Um.... I'm ok. Thanks." Button said, feeling his cheeks heat up as he stared at this mare.

Sweetiebelle blushed as he continued staring at her. Suddenly she felt a push from behind and she fell on top of the mystery colt. "SCOOTALOO I AM GOING TO TELEPORT YOU INTO THE DEPTHS OF TARTARUS!"

Scootaloo laughed hysterically.

The mysterious colt said "Um... I'm Button Mash. Nice to meet you. Though I wish this was in better circumstances than 1. You laying on top of me, 2. Threatening to send somepony to Tartarus and 3. Having just been bullied by Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon."

Embaressed and blushing heavily Sweetiebelle got off Button. "I'm Sweetiebelle, the orange pony I am going to send to Tartarus is Scootaloo, and she is Applebloom. "

"Hi!" Scootaloo and Applebloom said. "Want to join the Cutie Mark Crusaders?"

Button just stared, this time not like the way he stared at Sweetie. "Um...."

Sweetiebelle sighed. "It's a club where we try different ways to earn our cutie marks."

"Wait you don't have your cutie marks either!?" Button gasped.

"Nope."

If the CMC could read minds they would have found out that he wasn't excited because of just his cutie mark, but also he wanted to learn more about Sweetiebelle. "I'd love to join!"

~LATER~

"MOM I"M HOME AND I MADE THREE FRIENDS!"

"Wonderful!" Love Tap shouted happily. "What are their names?"

"Sweetiebelle, Scootaloo, and Applebloom." He replied. "And they are cutie markless, just like me!" When Button went to sleep he dreamed.

Button was lying on a humongous white field while, unbeknownst to him, a certain dream traveler was looking at him and smirking as she knew what the dream was about.

Button spotted purple and pink mountains to the right of him. He climbed them, surprised to find them soft. When he got the top he saw a white spike coming out of the pink and purple mountains. He climbed to the tip of the spike and looked down. As soon as he did he knew he had problems. He was looking at the giant face of Sweetiebelle. He blushed and ran back to the white feild, now known as Sweetie's back.

Suddenly he hears a voice saying, "Want this to stay our little secret?"

"Thanks Princess Luna....." Button muttered blushing heavily.

Princess Luna chuckled, "Want me to end this dream?"

"That would be great...... This is so embarrassing. " Luna ended the dream and button slept dreamless for the rest of the night. When Button woke he decided to just keep his feelings quiet and not tell Sweetie, not sure how she felt.

~YESTERDAY~

"Rarity I'm home!"

"Hello darling!"

"There is a new colt in ponyville, and since he didn't have a cutie mark he joined the CMC." That was, of course, after Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon had already got to him."

"Oh dear."

"Yeah. Anyway, it was kind of weird. When the girls and I went to cheer him up, he kind of just stared at me, and I kind of stared at him. I don't know why and it was really awkward. Then Scootaloo made it worse and pushed me on top of him. When I get better at teleportation I'm definately sending her to Tartarus."

"I guess you can if it's ok with is mom." Rarity said, secretly smiling to herself over the mention of the little awkward stare. "What is his name?"

"Button Mash," she said. "And you are not being a matchmaker.."

"Awwwww......." Rarity moaned, planning on being a matchmaker anyway.

Author's Note

This is probably gonna be a cliche story, but I'll try not to make it that way. This is my first time writing a fanfic so I will probably suck. This is a story I will probably only post once in a while, considering this is just a side project. I am just going to have fun with this, so maybe a few other ships will show up............. Plz don't be mad at my ships, they are just what I feel fits. BTW I would LOVE advice on how to advance in my skills.
