It was a beautiful day in Ponyville, and Dusk Shine was innocently reading some books when, as expected and on schedule, Rainbow Blitz dashed into the room.

"Yo, Shy," He said, his short prismatic mane practically shining with... Water? Sweat, maybe? "Do you have anything on, like, pancakes or whatever?"

Dusk Shine blinked. "...Why do you need a cookbook?"

"...ight?"

"For cooking? Duh?" Rainbow Blitz replied sarcastically, "I read somewhere that dudes like it when you cook," He shrugged, "I mean, they like me already, but this is just in case, y'know?"

"In case of what?" Dusk asked, already pulling out a copy of Breakfast in Bed; A Million and One Fancy (and not so Fancy) Breakfast Recipes, by Amaretto Pancake, "Are you finally going to try and woo Butterscotch?"

"...ligh..."

"I..." Rainbow Blitz seemed to pause for a moment, before walking over to take the book, "N-Not exactly..."

"Then who?" Dusk Shine asked expectantly, "Apple Cider? Berry Pie?" A pause, "...Elusi-" He was cut off by a pair of lips on his, and his eyes opened in shock as the message became clear:

Rainbow Blitz was in love with him.

"...ot responding to a..."

As the realization set in, Dusk Shine closed his eyes and began to retu

"Horseapples! I just dropped this first-edition copy of Daring Do and the Quetzal's Tail in this batch of Applejack and Pinkie's new Apple Maple Syrup, guaranteed to make any paper so sticky they never come unstuck! This book is ruined!"

"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight screamed, mane beginning to smolder, as she ran to... Rainbow Dash, Spike, and zero ruined books.

No one said anything.

"...I gotta say, I didn't think that would actually work," Rainbow Dash remarked, flying about two feet off the ground.

"I do it all the time," Spike explained, "But with different names and things. Y'know, Bon Bon and Berry Punch's new candy liqueur, Moondancer and Lemon Heart's new lemon hybrid's juice, that kind of thing,"

"Do you change books?" Dash asked as Twilight realized she had just been bamboozled.

"Duh, otherwise she catches on," Spike replied.

"And that's as far as I've gotten. How is it?"

It was another day at the Carousel Boutique, and Sweetie Belle had just shown Rarity her new creative writing assignment.

"Well, dear," Rarity said, "I would like to see a bit more of it, but so far it's rather nice. Wherever did you get this idea?"

"Got it off of Pinkie Pie," Sweetie shrugged, "I think she said it was based on a true story?"

"Sounds like it," Rarity muttered, "I walked in on Twilight's writing time one day, and it happened like this. The mare enters a trance when she writes. It's actually quite terrifying."

"So, do you think tha

"Pinkie Pie," Applejack interrupted the story, I understand why you would like me to hear this, I do, but where in Equestria did you get this idea?"

"I got it from my brain, silly!" Pinkie Pie bounced, "D'ya like it?"

"Well," Applejack read over what she had read so far, "It's mighty interesting, but it's a mite counfusing. It's a story about... Sweetie Belle writing a story about Twilight writing about... Who, exactly?"

"Dusk Shine and Rainbow Blitz!" Pinkie Pie chirped, "They're Dashie and Twilight from another dimension!"

"Oh, come now, sister, another dimension? Really?" Luna asked, "Is this TRULY what you do during my Night Court?"

"Well," Celestia began, "It began to get boring during the night after you took over the night court,"

"I can tell," Luna muttered.

"I had to do something, so I tried my hoof at writing," Celestia continued unpertrubed, "And to answer your question, there actually IS a portal to another dimension right here in this castle."

There was a pause, and then both sisters burst out laughing.

"I-In this castle! Right now!" Luna gasped, cackling, "That really does sound like something Pinkie Pie would use as an excuse for her terrible characters!"

"Hey, now that's just rude!" Sunset Shimmer scolded Rarity.

"Sorry, dear, I guess I'm still getting used to the idea of you actually being from that pony universe," Rarity replied, having the decency to blush.

"That's," Sunset sighed, "That's understandable. Just be what's that ringing?"

"What?" Rainbow Blitz put down the papers he had been handed, "What do you mean, 'What's that ringing?'?"

"I'm sorry?" Elusive took his story from Blitz, and scanned the bottom of it, before realizing, "Oh, that. There was some form of ringing soon after I had started that sentence," He explained, "Rather annoying, actually."

"You mean like that?" Rainbow Blitz said as it began to ring what is that seriously

Spike looked up from the story he was writing (to practice grammar, spelling, and pendragonship), and began to look around. Looking in the bookshelves, on the table, and even under Owlowscious, he couldn't locate the source of there it is again what the hell

"I can't read this anymore," Tree Hugger told Discord, putting the papers back on the warped table coffee.

"Oh, too confusing?" Discord asked.

"Nah, I understood it," Tree Hugger replied, and shrugged, "I just don't like edgy things, man. Real buzzkill,"

"Aah," Discourd nodded. Frowning, he noticed the extra 'U' in his name and ate it, "So, how would you tell it?"

"Discord," Tree Hugger explained, "I would write it li

Twilight Sparkle woke up. There were just so many times she could ignore her alarm clock, and she had about reached her limit.

Crushing it with her magic, she left the large crystalline room that was her bedroom, and walked to the dining room, where Spike had already laid out her breakfast.

Life went on in Ponyville.

Deep under the waves of the ocean, in the depths of a sunken city, C'thulu smiled as he slumbered, and his dream of ponies (Especially that purple one with horns and wings. He liked her.) slowly morphed into a different one.

This one prominently featured incredibly muscular humans and their fighting spirits.
