Who took Celestia's husband?
The only chapter: seriously this is the only one.
It was very cloudy outside, and rain was beating on the windows of the hallway. Celestia was making her way to her private study where Twilight and her sister had called for her.
Two days ago was when he went missing, and in those two days the guard have been tirelessly searching for whoever it was that stole her fiance. Unlike the guard however Twilight had a brain, and had gathered evidence to point to who kidnapped him. Celestia felt her heart flutter at the idea of finally seeing her soon to be husband again.
She finally reached a large set of wooden doors with her cutie-mark painted on them. Two guards were outside; both of which were asleep. Celestia would deal with them later, and she'd probably use a banana for it.
Trudging past the guards Celestia opened the door to reveal a large room with books lining the walls. On the other side of her was a fireplace that was already lit to keep the room cozy. In the center of the room was a couch and one armchair which Luna was currently relaxing in.
"Must we be here, sister? Just because you can't find your-"
"He's important to me Lulu! I have to find him" Celestia said effectively cutting Luna off before she could continue.
Twilight soon walked in wearing what you'd expect Sherlock Holmes to wear. In her mouth she had a pipe though instead of smoke bubble came out of it.
"I suppose you're wondering why I called all you here today-" Twilight blew some more bubbles out of the pipe, "-It's simple really,"
Pinkie Pie randomly fell from the ceiling next to Twilight that moment,
"Nice of you to join us Pinkie,"
Pinkie then peeled herself off the floor before sticking a hoof into her mouth. She started to blow on it until she finally popped back to her normal self, and sat down.
"Well Twilight, who took him?" Celestia asked in desperate need to see her fiance again. More bubbles came out of Twilight's pipe which pinkie proceeded to pop as they came out.
"I should start at the beginning. Two days ago was when he disappeared from Celestia's room so that was where I started my investigation."
"That makes sense," Luna said while moving closer to the fire. "But why do you have to say that? I mean that should be kind of obvious to start there,"
"Because that is where I found my first clue! When I investigated there bedroom I found chocolate crumbs all over the bed. That would mean that something crumbly and made of chocolate was eaten there," Twilight said as if it was the hardest thing in the world to figure out.
"Ooooh, it makes perfect sense," Pinkie said with a grin on her facem "You're really good at this Twilight!"
"Anyone could figure that out," Luna said which earned her a disapproving glare from her sister,
"please continue," Celestia said. Twilight nodded before attempting to blow more bubble out of the pipe. None came out however which annoyed her causing her to point to Celestia and say,
"You damn it!" After that Pinkie pulled out a bottle of bubble soap from her mane and pouring it into the pipe for twilight who said, " Thank you Pinkie,"
"You never know when there will be a bubble emergency," Pinkie said with a smile across her face. Though a knife fell out of her hair a moment later, "Wrong story, knifey!"
None of the other ponies cared for what just happened with Pinkie, and kept there eyes locked on Twilight who was about to begin presenting the rest of the evidence.
"My next clue was a knife and fork covered in chocolate. I inquired about this to the kitchen staff who confirmed that this was in fact tableware," Luna facehoofed after Twilight said that.
"I've been gone a thousand years, and it seems our subjects have only grown dumber," Luna said.
"Let her finish Luna," Celestia said to her little sister who was holding up the entire reveal.
"The finally piece of evidence however was none other than Celestia's husband!" there was a collective gasp around the room. Pinkie had accidentally sucked in a piece of popcorn and was currently choking on it until Twilight performed the Heimlich on her. The popcorn Cornell went flying out of Pinkie and landed in the fireplace causing it to shoot back out into Pinkies mouth.
"HOT, HOT,HOT, HOT!" Pinkie yellped before spitting the bit of popcorn back out of her mouth into Twilight's face. Twilight just wiped away the spittle and unchewed snack from her face before continuing.
"Like I was saying, I found him Princess. What was left of him anyway," Twilight said sadly before pulling out a silver platter with a half eaten cake on it.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! CHARLES!" Celestia cried over her half eaten fiance. "What monster could have done this,"
"That is what I shall reveal now," Twilight said with a confident grin across her face,
"Wait, that was your husband? Sister you ate that cake in your sleep two days ago," Luna said with shock over this entire thing being about a stupid cake.
"You knew?" Celestia asked with tears streaming down her face. How could her sister keep this a secret from her?
"You were sleep walking, and I saw you eat that cake. Wait, you married a cake!"
"He was more than just a cake!" Celestia cried as she snuggled up the what was left of Charles the cake, "He was a Triple Fudge Double Decker Black Forest cake!"
"I think I would of preferred to stay on the moon," Luna said before walking out of the room and taking off into the night.
When she got halfway to her tower however she was struck by lighting because it was still raining. Now with the knowledge that she herself had took her husband Celestia grieved for five minutes before a maid came in. She was pulling a large cart behind her with a cloth draped over whatever it was she was lugging around.
Once it was finally in the room, and the object revealed all of Celestia's grief was wiped away. There in the cart was a Quadruple Fudge Triple Decker Black Forest cake.
"Well hello handsome," Celestia said as she walked over toward her new boyfriend, Chad the cake.
