I've been locked in this cell for days, with nothing to eat but the weird goo they give to us in a cup every day. The walls were grimy and covered with the blood of presumably previous in-mates. There were no windows, just a single iron door and a slot to put the cup through. They didn't give me a bed. I was forced to sleep on the floor, which had left my one pair of clothing covered in dirt and dried blood. It was a wonder I hadn't died yet. Nobody on the outside knows how bad it is in here, they think they're still standard prisons. I learned the hard way just how bad it was. I shouldn't even be in here. I was framed for murder by my best friend. To think he could betray me like that... it broke me, or at least that combined with this horrible prison. Today there was someone yelling at me in the doorway. After about 2 minutes of yelling at me to get up, two guards came in and lifted me up, bringing me out into the hallway but only after gagging and handcuffing me. I had never seen this before, aside from the slight glimpses through the goo-hole, as I had called it. I didn't see any part of where I was besides that one cell. They had brought me in with a bag on my head and a gag in my mouth, bound at the hands and feet. It was an awful experience. The led me through corridor and corridor of the same yellow walls and lampshade ceiling lights. Turns out the prison was quite nice once you're outside of your cell. Eventually we met up with other groups of soldiers and inmates being led down a larger hallway and finally to a large room with cat walks about 10 feet up. Men in suits surveyed all the prisoners now lined up neatly in rows with guards patrolling the area. they pointed out someone which was then grabbed by a guard and brought into an unlabeled room. They then pointed out three other people before stopping to think and converse once more. They picked me and I was being forced into the room. For once in a long time, I begun to feel panicked. Death to me wasn't a concern, but after enduring their solitary confinement for who knows how long it dawned upon me that I could be brought in for torturing. If that was their average containment, who knew how bad the torture was. I shuddered at the thought. In the room, the other four inmates and I had our gags taken off and our handcuffs unlocked, we all looked at each other slightly confused. Apparently they had it just as bad as I did, their prison outfits and skin were just as dirty and worn as mine were. Two were slightly excited, probably thinking they were being let free, another looked petrified, and the last was silently sobbing. I sat there panicked. One of the walls then began to slid back, the guards rushing out of the room, locking the door behind them. We all looked at each other as the wall finished moving, revealing a large round metal frame with a green energy force of some kind in the middle. It looked just like a portal from a sci-fi movie. A wind began to pick up in the room, slowly growing in power. It seemed to be trying to sucks us all in through. As it started to grow too strong to bare, 3 of them began holding on to the door handles, but with no more space left the other remaining inmate and I were forced to accept our fate. The other began pulling at another inmate, but was quickly pulled away and into the portal, taking me with him. I blacked out. I don't know for how long but when I awoke the other inmate and what appeared to be a colored horse were quietly talking next to a campfire. I didn't move, I wasn't sure what to do. And from the looks of it, the other inmate was still pretty shaken too. They didn't seem to notice me and after a while. Unsure of what else to do, I decided to call out to them. Turns out not speaking for a while makes your voice sound pretty bad. What I meant to be a hello, still sounded like a hello, but was very course and was barely even a hello. But they seemed to understand, or at least whomever the other human was did, because he responded with "Hey". And that was it for a few minutes. Eventually I decided to start the conversation. "Where am I?" I said, again sounding pretty hoarse. My fellow earthling just looked over at the horse. "You're in Equestria" He said. How he said it I was still trying to figure out. "How... How.... What are you?" I said, trying to form the right words. "Why I am a pegasus! I was flying over head when I saw you two knocked out and decided to investigate" I sat with a dumb-founded look on my face. "A... Pegasus?" I quietly said. The inmate finally spoke up. "Yeah... It's best not to think about it too hard right now... At least we're out of that horrible place. Anyways, I'm Jack, what's your name?" It took me a few seconds to respond. "Uh... yeah... right... I'm..." I didn't know... In all that time I must have forgotten my name! "I... Can't remember." The unnamed pegasus spoke up again "Well at any rate, you two seem nice enough, you can stay with me at my house if you've got nowhere to stay" The inmate replied with "Thanks, I think we'd like that very much." Nice enough? Hadn't he told it we were from prison? How do we seem nice?  At any rate, it was time for me to leave. Once I finally got up, he began to lead us off to his home.
