Chapters Do you want to live forever?
Freddy FazBears Pizza. A place for kids and grown-ups alike. New robots, new building, and a new employee. Me, being a changeling, was sent here to gather positive emotions. The kids loved them. There was Toy Bonnie the bunny (who was now a girl), Toy Chicka the chicken, and the lead singer, Toy Freddy FazBear himself. There was no Toy Foxy, my favored anamatronic in the original diner, in this place. He didn't seem to exists. In this restaurant, Toy Bonnie took the award for favorite anamtronic. She was always the best singer in my eyes. I was in the form of a unicorn filly, with a creamy pink coat, and a dark pink fading to white mane and tail. I was carrying black saddle bags and wore white shoes that matched the bright white in my mane.
There were not very many ponys there, maybe only ten to fifteen kids. A few stood out to me, though. A lavender colored filly that had colts gawking at her. A colt that was sitting in back, looking at several scars on his fore-hoof. He was like nothing I had ever seen, his front half some kind of bird, the other of a purple pony. The third was a pink and grey pony, who had her head on the table, watching the show. She was different, I had never seen a pony with a mechanical horn. The fourth, was a Griffin colt. He had his feathers cut down, and his talons sharpened. I figured he was in an army. The fifth was a filly that seemed to be having the time of her life. She was light blue, with large wings and a toilet paper tube taped to her head. Her mane was in large curls, and her tail was cut short.
I could sense they all had a very strong power. Each's magic was different, too. They all have had issues, big and small. I was surprised to see how happy the blue one was. She had gotten bullied at school for her name... Rogathga. It was a name of a zebra king, and it was supposed to symbolize peace and kindness. Nobody knew more even cared to know.
The worst one was the named Magnus. He was criticized for his looks, not to mention how he got them. He felt, even at a young age, that his life was pointless. He wanted to end his own life. I wish I could help...
Then there was Leanescent. She seemed to be somewhat bad, but not totally evil. She held herself tall, almost with the beauty of an alicorn. I was... kind of jelly. Even if I changed into her form, I still wouldn't be as beautiful.
The grey pony, who's name was Marbled Cake. She was a young baker, and one of the best. She was on her day off, and she was board. Being used to being busy, and I can relate, it was hard to do nothing. You get board. She was a fun-loving pony, even though she didn't have too many friends. This is because she got her horn cut off. She had someone slam it in the gears when she was trying to get her cutie mark. She had her entire horn severed, from the base up. Her magic glands, just above the skull, still worked, though. She had no other choice than to get the mechanical horn if she ever wanted to get to use magic again. If not, she would never get her cutie mark, or even be an earth pony. She would need hormone transplants to have her body bulk up to be an Apple bucked, or a laborer.
The other filly, the light blue one, was named Gummy Bears. Her wings, being mutated, looked like alicorn's. She would often were a hat, a top hat. She always was getting looked at by other ponys, and that made her anxious. She loved playing games. I thought to play with her. I think she would enjoy that. As I walked through the restaurant, I tasted something bitter on my tongue. I thought it was from Magnus, but no, it couldn't be. He was too far away. It was from close, but all I could see was a golden Bonnie anamtronic. I thought nothing of it. I continued walking up to her. I was a shy changeling, a trait that was shunned, so I did my best to hide it when other changelings.
"Uh... H-hi..." I stammered. I did my best not to hide behind my mane.
"Hi!" She said in a bubbly voice. She had a happy grin plastered across her face. I could taste bubblegum, or happiness.
"My name is Vixen. What is yours?" I asked, with a new conference. Her happiness empowered me, even though I didn't need it.
"My name is Gummy Bear. Do you want to play with me? I'm playing The Lost Alicorn. It's were your an Alicorn fending off mobs in the wild and at night. It's really fun!" She was very happy when I nodded. I, myself, was in an imaginary world full of zombies, ghosts, villages, and great quests to find our way home. She was in silver armor, with a long horn protruding from her silky glowing mane. My armor was light pink gold. I had a shorter horn, but I had a long flowing mane. It twinkled in an everlasting breeze. We went through wetlands, deserts, and even a pizza slice or two. We stopped when we heard a voice.
"Hey kids! The show is about to start! Toy Best Bonnie is going to be the main singer tonight!" Toy Freddy said. His voice was smooth, unlike the older anamtronics.
"That's right kids! Toy Chicka and I will be here for a special occasion!" Toy Bonnie said in a cheery voice.
"Tonight is ladies' night, and Freddy here has given us the chance to sing! We hope you enjoy!" Toy Chicka was ecstatic. From what I could remember, Toy Chicka was usually on the electric piano. I've never heard her sing before. As they started, Toy Freddy was in the background playing the drums. Toy Bonnie sang the most, but Toy Chicka got quite a bit of singing alone, too. Most of the time, one was singing, the other was using her voice as an unheard of instrument. They sang perfectly together. You could hear some more robotic parts, but it was otherwise beautiful. I wish they could sing more often.
"They are beautiful together..." Gummy was in awe. I was thinking the same thing. They filled me with awe, something that normal changeling couldn't do, and just fake it. As they ended, I caught a glimpse of Magnus. He was happy. This was the first time I had seen a smile on his face. This made me smile.
I soon walked over to him. I asked, "Did you like the show?"
He looked at me surprised. "Y... Yeah." I could tell he was confused.
"I thought it was amazing. I've never seen Toy Chicka sing before..."
"Yeah, I haven't either. It was... cool."
We talked for awhile before the 'Golden Bonnie' came up to us.
"Hey kids, you have been chosen to win a prize with four others! Come here." His voice was untrustworthy, but the joy from being chosen from Magnus overpowered that. He and I soon with four others, came upon a door labeled 'KITCHEN'. I felt a churning sensation in my stomach, and my heart started to beat faster. I knew something bad was going to happen. I had to stay. I couldn't let the incidence be hurt. I was the most powerful, and at least I could stall if things get sour.
"Come with me to get your prize!" He opened the door. He waited for everyone to get in. He closed the door as I lit an illumination spell. The room was filled with a light only I could see. I saw a purple stallion emerge from the Golden suit.
"Hey kids, I'm getting the prize!" The room was filled with a very bitter taste... love. This was a horrible version of love. A killing love. He opened a drawer and revealed a glistening object. His magic was blood red. I walked in front of the small group and flipped the light switch as the knife came down upon me. With a burst of magic, I repelled it and sliced his leg. He yanked it out with anger.
"Get out!" I yelled as he started a battle of magic with me. Marble Cake charged up a spell to teleport them out. I was blasting my horn and pushing myself harder than I ever had before. I couldn't let him kill them. It was against everything I stood for. Changelings couldn't kill or let ponys kill innocent. Even if I die, Ill save five. I would rather die then let others die in my place.
My horn hurt. I was sweating bullets. All I could think of was saving five. I was slightly relieved when I saw a bright flash of blue light behind me and the ponys disappeared. I had a small smile on my face. I had never wanted to say one thing more. I had never before, so now was my time.
"Fuck you." My disguise was starting to fail. My fur on the bottom of my hooves disintegrated. As the blood red force reached my horn, I felt a rush of a dyeing pain shoot through my body. My insides felt as though they were being torn out from my body. My vision was soon filled with blood. I was pushed over by the sheer force that he had built up. As I dyed, my disguise faded. My hooves were scared. Deep lacerations covered them. As a changeling, my pony form hid all wounds, but they were still there. Blood dripped off of me. All that time, I tasted that same bitter rotten taste. The taste of a twisted love. And my hate.
My world started to go black. A tall slender figure is the last thing I saw. I wish it were slender man.
Marionette P.O.V.
He was here again. The killer. The murder. We all suffered because of him. I had been here the longest. I was the first. I saw them be killed. Ten kids. Ten suits. One killer. I had given them the joy of creation. They would be dead and lost if I hadn't been there. I gave them life.
I had seen her save five kids at the price of her own. She hadn't been selfish and just saved herself. She wouldn't have survived anyway. She was killing herself by over using her magic. She was using herself as a distraction. She gave up her life. She knew she would die.
Six reduced to one. I couldn't even save 11. She saved 5 and she's only a filly. Her voice could go unheard, but she would still be there. It was not her pled, but she came to the call. She could have saved herself. She didn't. She didn't cry a single tear. She did not scream in pain. She just watched the four go and smiled. She had killed herself, willing.
She was, and is, a hero. She will know the Joy Of CRE-
Vixen P.O.V.
I felt cold. No feeling as I sat up. My eyes opened. I stood strait up. The room was lit up with a golden light from an unknown source. A quiet click sounded in the small room, emitting from the door. It was ever so gently opened. A stallion soon walked into the room with a check list in his light blue arora. He slowly inspected me. I was almost three times his size.
"Hum. I guess they did have the budget for another." He mumbled under his breath. He, just as fast as he came, left without a trace. I did not hear the click of him locking the door. Soon, a small pitter-patter came to the door. It was soon flung open... with ten fillies and colts. A smile formed on my face, but it was not one of my own.
"Hey, kids! My name is Vixen, your new Fox friend!" My name. I said my name. "Welcome to Kid's Cove, a wonderful place where kids like you get to explore and have fun!" There was so much cheer in my voice it almost hurt. "I'm new here and I haven't gotten to see the rest of the band. Do you mind introducing my to them? I'm a bit shy," I didn't know why I was saying this, but I couldn't stop myself. I started to follow the children to the main area. Up on the stage three anamtronics looked at me. I felt as though I knew them.
"Who is this? I've never seen her berfore," The bear said.
"This is Vixen!" All of the kids cheered.
"Hello Vixen! Welcome to the band! We've been waiting for you," That almost sounded dark coming from the Chicken anamtronic.
"I'm so glad to have another member of the band!" The blue bunny seemed to be over excited to see me. She seemed so fermlar, but I couldn't place a name.
The kids had started to ask some questions.
"What do you play?"
"Violin."
"Are you a Fox?"
"Yes."
"Are you a pirate like Foxy?" One of the older kids asked that. That name rung a bell.
"Yes, and if any pony else here is, give me a big, long, ARRRRR!"
"ARRRRRRRR!" The choir of voices made me join in. I don't know why.
I had spent the entire day with fillies and colts. It was nearing eleven o'clock p.m. when a stallion called out, "Closing time! Everypony have a great night and come back soon!" With that one announcement, everypony cleared out. I went back to Kid's Cove, stood in the corner, and powered down. It was a long day.
Nights take all your might
I woke up. I remembered what happened earlier. It seemed as though it was a dream. I... I remember more than just today. I... remember... he killed me. I remember it happened yesterday. But then why am I still here? I can't still be alive but... then what am I? I looked down at my body. I... am an anamtronic. I retain my name, yes, but that is all I retain from my past. I do not know why I liked that kid, or why I saved them. All I know is that if I had to die again for them I would. Saving and protecting kids is all I know of my past. I remember how I died a hero, and done my species proud, for I was not a monster everypony knows, but a hero. Yes. That is the right word, hero. They knew I gave my life to save their's when I did not come out.
The only question that is like blazing fire in my mind, above all, is why I'm alive. I died. how can I be here?
I decided to see the other anamtronics. Maybe, just maybe, they knew what was going on. I walked towards the door. It was weird, after being a pony, to walk two... feet, instead of four hooves. I guess I'll have to get used to it. Another thing is I don't like was having hands. Yes, I did have something like hands, but not hands. So, after fumbling a bit, I managed to get the door open. I quickly decided it was best to leave it open, so I don't have to got through that again.
The room outside was dark. A small golden glow illuminated the area just in front of me. It was faint, yes, but it shone like the moon against the dark night sky. I soon found my way to the stage. The only thing missing was anamtronics. I wondered where they could be when I heard,
"SHIT THERE'S ANOTHER ONE?!?" The voice was familiar, I had seen him today. I thing his name is Markiplier of Marksepticeye or something like that. I heard he was a youtuber.
His cry startled me.
I decided to see him. I don't know why, but it was kinda funny how he sounded like a girl when he screamed. I suddenly had a horrifying felling come over me. Something was telling me to make him suffer. I screamed. It was a mechanical scream. Twisted from my old. I wasn't who I was before. I have been twisted, turned, and infused with something dark. It... was trying to control me. It was hurting me defying it. I fell on the floor with pain. I am a mechanism. I simple drone. The voice stoped when I screamed again.
My insides felt like they were on fire. Soon, though, a ice came over me. It... brought back memories...
The ground was covered in a thin blanket of glistening white crystals. I was small, running around.
"Sweety? Are you there? A sweet voice echoed through the open snow covered field. It was cold, I could see my breath. It was a cool, crisp feeling.
"Yes, mother, I'm here! The snow is amassing!" I was bouncing with joy as I shivered from the below freezing temperatures.
"Winter is beautiful, just like you. Don't ever forget that." She looked at me through the now gently falling snow. I love the cold.
The icy felling subsided and I was left paralysed on the ground. The voice... the burning... the ice... they all happened so fast. It was a blur. The memory was the most shocking. Was my past going to be unlocked? Or will I live in the present? I can't live in the future.
I remembered what I was doing. Person. Thing. Talk. Got it. I got up smoothly. It was still weird walking on two... feet... but it didn't feel right walking on all fours. As I walked down the main hall, I saw him pull up a screen. I wondered why. I moved in closer. He was still looking at the screen. I came into the room and tapped on his shoulder. He screamed,
"FUCKING SHIT!" I was taken aback by this.
"Um... I was wondering if you were ok.." I felt no need to lie about why I came into his room.
"You!... Can talk?" He looked at me like I was something was going to kill him.
"I think so. But, more importantly, are you ok? What are you afraid of?" I looked at him quizzingly. I was in pure confusion, not knowing what was going on.
"Uh, scary anamtronics are coming to kill me. Why aren't you?"
"Why would I?" He was in a blissful state of pure confusion. I was kinda funny.
"I can't believe that you can talk. This changes a lot." There was soon a screech from down the hall, like nails on a chalkboard. "OH GAWD." He soon started flashing the light like a crazy pony. It hurt my eyes as I was in night vision mode. A tall, red figure shielded his eyes.
'Foxy...' Soon after Mark stoped blaring his light, Foxy ran off.
I did not know why I knew his name, but I hoped it would be revealed.
"Hey, um, what's your name?" I wanted to know if his name was truly Markiplier.
"I am the KING of FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S! Or, Markiplier." He said this with a lot of pride in his voice.
"O... k then..." I did not know what to say to that. I noticed a small clock on his desk. I read 5:59 on it.
"Do you reset at six a.m.?" He truly wanted to know. Just before I could answer, I heard a chime.
DING DONG DING DONG, DING DONG DING DONG*yay!*
I looked up and headed back to my room. I closed the door. I sat down, and shut off waiting to be turned back on.
The next day wasn't different. I got up, prepared for the kids. I watched them and smiled. I played with them and the others. They did not except me. I knew this well. I continued nonetheless. I helped kids have fun. I let them hold my hand.
I did not feel. I only smiled, but could not feel happy. I am a mechanism.
I gasped awake. I did not know I could gasp... but, I can.
I sat up straight up by my sudden awakeness. My clock (the one on he wall for parents ) read 11:59. As I did last night, I opened the door.
It was much easier now that I have a little training with the... hands, but I still fumbled a bit. As soon as opened the door, I was greeted with three two angry faces.
"What was that?" Toy Freddy demanded, more than asked.
"What was what?" I was slightly confused by the meaning of 'that' in his sentence, as I did not do anything wrong. At least to my knowledge.
"Last night. With the guard."
"I thought he was scared." I simply stated this, as it was the truth.
"I don't know, Freddy, I think she's telling the truth..." A feminine voice called from the back.
"BonBon, how many times do I have to say this? She isn't good!" 'BonBon' shrunk as Toy Freddy shouted at her.
"You know I don't like that nickname..." She said.
"Will you two just- Shut Up!" The higher voice of Toy Chicka sounded.
As a new shouting contest started, I used my time wisely and got out of there.
As I turned down the hall, a open door that read 'PARTS AND SERVICE' caught my eye. I did have plans to see Mark again, but I guess it can wait.
As I got closer to the door, I saw something wave for me to come in. As I entered, I saw two glowing white dots. As my darker night vision kicked in, I was greeted with something I thought I'd never see.
Foxy, the once well-known pirate, was now only held together by wires. Bonnie, the lead guitarist, now with no face or arm. Chica, the back-up singer and only girl, now with a broken jaw, no hands, and no cupcake.
And then Freddy. He was badly beaten with his ears popping out of his head and covered with gashes. They all looked so... sad.
"W-w-w-who ya-a be-e-e?" Foxy managed to say.
"I-I'm Vixen..." I almost didn't get the words to leave my snout.
"V-vixe-en, ay?" The fox asked.
"Yes... Are you... Foxy?" I felt like I was going to start balling from how badly he was beaten.
"Ay, las-s-s-s. Th-this be-e-e the good ol' F-f-f-fox-x-x-xy."
Then a new voice popped up. "C-can you h-help us?" Chicka asked, managing to move her jaw.
"How?" I almost demanded.
"Fix us..." Freddy moaned from his spot on the floor.
"How?" I asked again, less demanding and more pleading.
"In the office there's a door with spare parts... go get it and bring it to us," Freddy looked at me with pleading eyes.
"Ok," I said and left.
As I walked down the hall, I could see Mark slide on the mask.
'He probably just thinks I'm another anamtronic. It wouldn't surprise me.'
When I got to the office, he took off the mask.
"Why were you talking to the others?" He looked at me.
"They were mad about me seeing you. I don't know why, though," I stated. He cocked an eyebrow, but accepted my response.
"Can you help me?"
"With what?"
"Can you get Balloon Boy to GO AWAY?!"
"Umm... Sure?" I looked to where he was pointing. There laid a metal kid with a balloon and a sign the read 'BALLOONS!' on it.
"Um, can you go look for Toy Freddy? He has a lot of batteries." I don't know what made me say that, but it seemed to work. BB went running to see Toy Freddy. I almost laughed at this, but I reminded myself of the task on hand.
"Do you mind if I leave a little early today? I... have to take care of something." He nodded and I went into the room behind his desk. I opened the door and found a box of parts, and Bonnie's head. I left with the box without Mark asking anything.
As I opened the door, I found them all waiting for me. They looked as happy as they could be.
"You... did it," Freddy looked in awe. I sat down next to Bonnie and started to attach his face, so he could talk.
"Yar-r-r-r, la-s-ss I kn-new yah woul-d-d-d c-come through-h-h," Foxy tried to smile. I soon finished re-attaching Bonnie's face and looked at my work.
"Bonnie, can you try to talk?" I asked as sweetly as I could.
"T-thank you." He did stutter a bit, but it was more out of nervousness than malfunctioning. I got up and moved to Foxy. I grabed a wrench and a bolt, and started to fasten is jaw to his head. He looked very satisfied with the work I did. It didn't take very long, but it did the trick.
"Thank you, las-ss." He did still have a malfunction, but that was with his voice box. I couldn't fix it, it would have to be replaced.
I moved to Chicka. "Would you like your hands to be fixed first, or your jaw?" I wouldn't have time to to both tonight.
"U-um, my h-hands," She looked at me as I took out her long lost hands. She smiled.
It took a bit longer to get her hands on than it did to get Bonnie's face back, but I still got it done. She looked down at he hands when I finished. She wiggled her fingers.
"Th-thank y-you," As soon as she said that, I was tackled by a hug. We soon pulled apart; I needed to would on Freddy.
"Freddy, to fix your ears, you need to take off your suit's head..." I didn't feel comfortable asking him to do this, but it needed to be done. He looked down.
"Can... Can we go somewhere else?" He pleaded.
"I guess..." He soon lead me to the guy's bathroom.
"I... Can't go into the boy's restroom, I'm a girl," He cocked an eyebrow.
"Ug, fine! But only because you asked me to..." I looked down and my ears fell back as we entered. When I looked up, I could see what looked like the girl's bathroom, but with urinals.
"Come on, come on!" I felt my friend tug on my arm.
"Ok, fine Vicky." We had just finished a game of 'Truth or Dare, Dirty Level Two'. We were in a movie theater, for my Birthday Party.
"Do we really have to go... in there?" I pointed at the boys' bathroom.
Uh. Duh! I dared you to," She said, matter-of-factly.
'I still don't know why I agreed to this,'
We walked up to the blue door that read 'COLTS' ROOM' on it, and sighed.
"We're really doing this."
"Yes!" She bucked the door into the opposite wall. I closed my eyes and walked in. I didn't know when to stop, so I kept on going until I hit something, probably the wall. I opened my eyes.
"AHHHH!" I screamed as I saw that my leg was hoof-deep in a urinal.
"BUAHAHAHA!" I heard my friend laughing in the background as I ran out.
"Vixen? Are you coming?" Freddy asked and I snapped back into reality.
"Uh, yes! Sorry," I was caught of-guard by this memory. It saddened me that I could never see her again, but something told me I shouldn't be sad. I shook it off and continued into the bathroom.
"So, Freddy, why couldn't we say with the others?" He looked sad when I asked this.
"It... It's just that they... wouldn't understand." He looked down.
"It's ok," I began "You don't have to tell me. I don't need to know if you'd rather not tell me."
"I... I need to show you something." He looked down and a golden light came over him. As soon as the light stoped blinding me, I got a good look at him.
"Wha-What? You're Golden Freddy? Where's Freddy?" I asked. I didn't care if he was Goldy or not, but I just needed to know where Freddy was. Also, I nick-named Golden Freddy to Goldy.
"Um, I think he went to get the Guard," He replied.
'shitshitshitShitShitSHIT! I gotta go get Mark!'
"Uh-huh, I... gotta go... hehe... Bie!" I ran off. Goldy looked disappointed, but poofed off somewhere. I don't know. I looked around.
'Ok, ok. I just gotta get to the office before Freddy. Wait, how did I miss him leaving?'
I started down the hall. As I neared the room of interest, I heard something metal.
'Freddy!'
I ran in to the office, pushing Mark out of the way for a jumpscare. Just as I had, Freddy came barreling into the room. He looked confused.
"Wh-wh-where's the-e-e night gu-u-u-uard?" He tilted his head.
"He left early. He had to go to a wedding tomorrow and had to get rested up. His sister in marrying some guy called Mandopony," I responded. He looked sceptical, but accepted my story. He disappeared into the hallway.
"What the-" Mark started.
"Stop cursing." I cut him off.
"Fine. What the FUDGE just happened? Happy?"
"A little." I gave him an evil look. He was SO annoyed. He knew his face was red.
"I just gonna pretend you didn't just assault me and said I had a sister."
"Well-" I heard the familiar bells ringing. My head shot up. I calmly walked away.
"Hey! Where are you going?" The guard called from behind me.
I did not respond. His shift is over. The day guard will be arriving. Ponies will be safe.
