A Collection of ButtonBelle Stories

Story 1: A New Home!

(Author's note: I DO NOT OWN MLP OR ANY OF IT'S CHARACTERS!)

(Takes place in the Pony world!)

Just an ordinary day in Equestria, Button as usual... Played on his Joyboy until his mother spoke to him, "Button, were almost there to our new home! Ponyville! Your going to love it there."

"But Mom it's not really gonna be the same as it was back in Manehattan." Button sighed, not taking his eyes off of his game.

"I know it must've been hard for you Button, but I'm sure you'll make great friends in Ponyville." Love Tap said, Trying to comfort him.

"I know... I just miss my brother and father back at Home." Button said.

"I miss them just as much as you do, but I promise you. We'll love it here in Ponyville! You'll have many great adventures here! I heard that there's a lot of ponies who are really nice and friendly." Love Tap said enthusiastically.

"Well, if you put it like that then I guess I'll like it here. At Manehattan nopony was ever friendly to me. They were all mean and the only pony in my school who was nice to me was Babs." Button said.

"Didn't she say she had a cousin at Ponyville? Maybe you could become friends with her too." Love Tap suggested.

"I guess your right mom, so where are we going to live?" Button asked.

"Well Button, your father had already moved our belongings at our new house. So that was very nice of him to do that for us." Love Tap answered happily.

Button smiled, until he heard an announcer on the train say out loud, "Next stop Ponyville!"

The Train eventually came to a stop sometime after they announced it.

"Looks like we're here!." Button cheered. He was so excited to see his new home.

His mother smiled at him and grabbed his Hoof. He followed her off the train and looked around the place. They kept walking along the Train Station and Love Tap followed the directions to their house that her Husband gave her, and eventually she found it.

"There it is!" Love Tap yelled, getting Button's attention immediately.

Button looked at the house, he let go of his mother's Hoof and ran to the door. His mother came up to him and took out the keys in her Saddle Bag, and opened the front door. The two Earth Ponies went inside and spent a good amount of time checking the place out. Button's room had everything he needed, game consoles and such. His mom loved the house and enjoyed the fact of having the kitchen next to the house's entrance.

"Button Dear! Could you come here for a moment please!." Love Tap called.

Button Mash ran downstairs and he stopped in front of his mother asking her, "What is it mom?"

"Why don't you go explore Ponyville? See what everything has to offer here, make a friend or two!" Love Tap suggested.

Button nodded his head in agreement, grabbed his Saddle Bags, and went outside to explore a bit. He looked around and saw a lot of ponies, Pegasi ponies, Unicorns, Earth ponies, there were a whole variety of ponies everywhere! And they all had smiles on their faces everywhere. He tried looking for ponies his age and sadly he didn't find any.

"Hmm, maybe they're all in school since it's Friday." Button thought.

He asked somepony for directions to the nearest school and luckily enough he was happy that someone actually stopped what they were doing to help him. Ponies never did that in Manehattan. They either ignored each other or just cared for themselves.

Once he found the school, he was excited to meet all kinds of Foals his age, and maybe he'd find that Special Somepony of his... someday in his life.

He looked at the playground next to the school and he saw a ton of Colts and Fillies. He walked up to the playground until he was stopped by two fillies. They looked at his Flank and then they looked at each other bursting in laughter.

"Hey what gives?" Button asked.

"Your flank! Your a Blank Flank!" A pink pony asked, wearing a Tiara on her head.

"So?" Button responded.

"Your just like the Cutie Mark Crusaders! A loser with no special talent!" A gray pony with glasses insulted.

"So what? I'm still a pony just like you guys." Button yelled back, gaining the other Foal's attention around them.

"That's true I guess I'll give you that... But your still a Blank Flank loser with no special talent!" Diamond Tiara yelled back.

"Leave him alone!" Somepony yelled.

Button turned around and saw three Fillies running up to him.

"Leave him alone Diamond Tiara!, it's not like you have a special talent either. Yours doesn't even make any sense!" A white coated unicorn yelled.

Diamond Tiara had an angry look on her face and said, "Look it's Squeaky Belle! Came here to save your little Coltfriend Blank Flank here? Awwh so adorable!"

"He's not my Coltfriend Diamond Tiara! Just leave him alone." Sweetie Belle replied.

Diamond Tiara smirked and spitted on her face saying,

"Pfft, whatever! Let's go Silver. We don't have time to argue with a Blank Flanked Unicorn who can't even use her magic right or sing properly!"

Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara turned around and walked away casually, until an Orange colored Pegasus threw a rock at Diamond.

"Ow! You jerk!" Diamond Tiara yelled.

"DIAMOND TIARA! That's enough! I saw the whole thing! Now come with me! You too Silver." Miss Cheerilee screamed.

Diamond Tiara sighed and gave the Crusaders a killer look.

She and Silver Spoon went with Miss Cheerilee leaving Button alone with the Crusaders.

"Sorry for the trouble Fillies, I didn't mean any of this to happen!" Button apologized.

"Dude relax! It's all cool." Scootaloo happily replied.

"By the way I'm Scootaloo." Scootaloo continued, shaking his Hoof.

"And Ahm Apple Bloom!" Apple Bloom greeted, winking at him as a sign of greeting.

"Apple Bloom? Say I'm friends with your cousin Babs!" Button Mash informed her.

"Oh you know my cousin! That's great! Ah reckon you know a thing or two about me then." Apple Bloom cheered happily.

"Ah heh heh, well yeah I know about your club too, Babs told me a bit about it, by the way I'm Button Mash." Button said.

Button then looked at Sweetie Belle who was looking at the ground playing with a small pebble avoiding eye contact with him.

"Um... I'm S-Sweetie Belle." Sweetie Belle greeted nervously.

"H-hi, and I'm sorry that I made you get spit on you." Button said, getting something out of his Saddle Bags.

He took out a clean rag and whipped her face off. She blushed from being touched by a Colt for the first time and said,

"T-thanks, it's not a big problem."

"It's alright, it was mostly my fault for getting all of your attention." Button apoligized.

He offered a Hoof shake to Sweetie Belle since she defended him mostly. She gladly accepted it but messed up... Instead she grabbed it too fast and she used too much strength by accident. The two of them fell on top of each other and Button ended up laying on top of Sweetie.

"Awwh!" Scootaloo and Apple Bloom awhed at the scene.

"Oops, guess I need to work on Hoof shaking somepony... sorry!" Sweetie Belle apologized.

Button laughed a bit, "It's alright."

"I-I know." Sweetie Belle continued apologizing.

Button got up from his position and blushed a bit thinking in his head, "Wow she's pretty cute for a Filly her age. Her beautiful Emerald green eyes! As well as her gorgeous Pink and purple Mane!"

"You two Lovebirds done?" Scootaloo asked, smirking at her friend.

"Scootaloo... Stop your embarrassing me!" Sweetie Belle whispered.

"So, Button your from Manehattan I believe?" Apple Bloom speculated.

"Yep! I just moved here today. My mom told me to explore Ponyville and make a friend or two." Button answered.

"Well that sounds nice! We can always show yah around Ponyville! After School maybe." Apple Bloom suggested.

"Yeah, I'd like that! Thanks for the offer!" Button smiled happily at her.

"Great! I guess we'll see you after school then?" Scootaloo asked him.

"Sure! Not a problem." Button said.

The school bell rang and that signaled everypony that Recess was over. The Crusaders went back in and they said goodbye to Button for now. Button sat there and waited for them for what seemed like hours. He pulled out his JoyBoy and decided to pass time by playing his favorite game, "Zelda".

An hour later...

The School Bell rang and it signaled that school was over and everypony began coming out of the school. Some ran and some tripped and fell because of the large amount of students leaving at once. Button waited and waited until he saw the Crusaders coming up to him.

"Hiya Button! We were wondering since you don't have a Cutie Mark and all, wanna join the Cutie Mark Crusaders?" Apple Bloom asked.

Button thought about it and answered, "Sure, I can join. I need friends anyway in this town."

The four of them smiled at each other.

Apple Bloom told Button to follow them to their Clubhouse, which he happily did. It took them a while to get to it. When they spotted it they immediately ran to the Clubhouse. When they arrived there, Apple Bloom opened the door to let her friends in as well as Button Mash. She closed the door and the three Crusaders put on their capes and began the ritual.

Button Mash sat there in the center of  the room excited to see what would happen.

"Ahem, Button Mash! We the Crusaders! Invite you to join our club! In this club we shall help each other by finding our special talents in Crusading adventures and such. When you join you shall be loyal to us and respect us and do whatever to help all of us get our Cutie Marks!" Apple Bloom explained.

Button nodded his head in agreement when Apple Bloom continued.

"Then I Apple Bloom, am proud to welcome you as a Cutie Mark Crusader! Our Best friend! Brother, Cousin, family member, blah blah blah. You get the idea!" Apple Bloom smiled at him.

She gave him his cape which he greatly appreciated. He was a Cutie Mark Crusader which made him feel proud.

"Thanks for letting me join guys, I'm sure that we're gonna be great friends." Button thanked them.

"No problem, you deserve it anyway for standing up to Diamond Tiara earlier." Scootaloo complimented.

"Yeah, she seems like a bully." Button said.

"She is! She always picks on us because we have no Cutie Mark." Scootaloo explained.

"That sounds like it sucks, you shouldn't mind it though. Just ignore it. That what Babs told me." Button replied.

The three of them turned and looked at Sweetie Belle who was quiet the whole conversation.

"Sweetie Belle why are yah so quiet?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Yeah? You want some time alone with your Coltfriend?" Scootaloo teased.

Both Sweetie Belle and Button Mash blushed at the word "Coltfriend" until Sweetie Belle yelled out, "HE'S NOT MY COLTFRIEND!"

"Woah calm down, I only said it once." Scootaloo said.

Sweetie Belle sighed and replied, "It's okay, it's just annoying okay? Diamond Tiara sits behind me and teased me about liking Button. Like-like way...the whole day!"

Now things were awkward, Button didn't expect to hear it but he ignored it.

"Oh. I know what'll cheer you up. How bout a milkshake at Sugarcube Corner?" Apple Bloom suggested.

Sweetie Belle smiled and nodded her head in agreement. Then, the four of them took off their capes and made their way to Sugarcube Corner.

When they made they're way to Sugarcube Corner, they ordered their shakes and sat at a table that was meant for four ponies.

"So.. This Diamond Tiara pony, she seems mean." Button said.

"You have no idea what she's done to us all this time!" Scootaloo complained.

"I guess you all hate her." Button suspected.

"I hate her just as much as I hate not being able to fly." Scootaloo complained even more.

Both Apple Bloom and Scootaloo were comfortable talking with Button. Sweetie Belle on the other Hoof. Was nervous around Button. She just kept blushing and she avoided eye contract with him several times, he noticed it too. He thought of a plan to get her attention or to at least make her get into the conversation.

"Hi guys! Here are your milkshakes!" Pinkie Pie yelled, throwing all four of the milkshakes onto the table they were sitting at perfectly without making any of them spill. It was quite amazing.

"Perfect!" Button thought in his head.

Just as everypony else was about to take a sip, Button immediately yelled, "Milkshake Race! 1 2 3 GO!!!"

Button began drinking his milkshake really fast while the other Crusaders just looked at him with blank faces. He just kept gulping it down and down and down until he felt the dreaded Brain Freeze coming to him.

"Oh Celestia..." Button thought.

The pain became worse and he couldn't take it so he screamed, "AHHHHHHHHHH, THE PAIN!"

He fell off the chair and landed on the floor holding his head. The pain wasn't that bad, but knowing Button he overreacted and cried and screamed like a baby. Everypony in the room looked at him like he was crazy or something. The Crusaders ignored him and they sighed. They couldn't believe how babyish he acted over a small Brain Freeze.

"Oh hey a Bit!" Button called, grabbing it and putting it into his Saddle Bags.

He got up from the ground and looked at his friends.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Oh nothing, it's just you overreacted over a Brain Freeze!" Scootaloo replied, laughing.

"Yah, what were you thinking?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Er... I thought it would be fun." Button shrugged, laughing a bit.

Apple Bloom and Scootaloo looked at Sweetie Belle who was silent the whole time, and knowing their best friend they knew exactly what was wrong with her. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo looked at each other and grinned evilly.

"Hey Button! Me and Scoots just noticed that we ordered the wrong Shakes. Could Ya give us a moment?" Apple Bloom said, grabbing Scootaloo's Hoof and pulling her with her.

"Hey what gives! You don't have to hold my Hoof, do you like me or something?" Scootaloo complained.

"Calm down and no I don't like you in that way." Apple Bloom sighed.

The two of them left Button and Sweetie alone and hid underneath a table nearby watching them.

"You think Sweetie has a crush on him?" Apple Bloom asked.

"I don't know but they do look cute together don't they?" Scootaloo responded.

Apple Bloom nodded and they watched them.

"So..." Button started.

"So..." Sweetie Belle replied.

"Hi" Button greeted.

"Hi" Sweetie Belle responded back.

"I was just wondering if you wanted to hangout later?" Button asked.

"As a D-Date?" Sweetie Belle asked, blushing hard.

"N-no I mean like show me around Ponyville maybe?" Button replied nervously.

"O-oh sure." Sweetie Belle happily said.

She thought in her head, "He's cute when he gets nervous."

"Cool! We can go now if you want before Sunset?" Button said.

"But what about Apple Bloom and Scoots?" Sweetie asked.

"You guys can go ahead!" Scootaloo yelled.

Scootaloo and Apple Bloom walked up to them and smiled.

"You guys won't be upset? We were gonna Crusade today?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"It's fine! Go have fun with your Coltfriend." Scootaloo teased again.

"Scootaloo I swear to Celestia if you say that word again, you don't even know what I'm gonna do to you!" Sweetie Belle threatened.

Scootaloo frowned and replied saying, "Okay okay I'll stop saying it!"

Sweetie Belle smiled and said, "Good, I guess I'll see you guys later then."

"Have fun you two!" Apple Bloom said, just before she dragged Scootaloo to a different table leaving both Button and Sweetie alone.

"So... Wanna go then?" Button asked.

"Sure!" Sweetie Belle happily answered.

The two of them walked out of the building together and looked around the area.

Sweetie Belle took him to the closest Restaurants and Diners, she showed him her house. She also showed him the Arcade which amazed him.

"Wow, I didn't know Ponyville had an Arcade?" Button cheered.

"Yeah, I come here every so often on my free time when I'm not with the other Crusaders, why do you like games?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Like games? I LOVE GAMES!!!" Button yelled out loud.

"Me and him like Video Games? Wow... Now that changes how I look at him." Sweetie Belle thought.

"We should come here together one day!" Button suggested.

Sweetie Belle giggled and said, "Yeah I'd like that."

"I forgot to show you my house, you showed me yours so is it okay?" Button asked.

"Of course. I already asked Rarity if it was okay and she said yes." Sweetie Belle answered.

"Who's Rarity?" Button said.

"My older Sister." Sweetie Belle replied.

"Oh, since when did you do that?" Button wondered.

"Scootaloo and Apple Bloom told her that I'd be hanging out with you today, so it's all good." Sweetie Belle explained.

The two of them walked together along the pathway to his house and eventually they arrived.

"Oh this is your house Huh? It's pretty close to mines too." Sweetie Belle pointed out.

"Yeah, it's not much but it's a new and better home than back at Manehattan." Button explained.

He opened the front door and let her in first.

"Oh my... Such a Gentleman" Sweetie Belle giggled.

"Well for a pretty Filly like you, it's the right thing to do heh heh." Button laughed.

She went in and he followed her, closing the door behind him.

Sweetie Belle blushed and was greeted by Button's mother.

"Button? Hello dear! How was your first day in Ponyville?" Love Tap asked.

"It was great mom! I even made a couple of friends too!" Button answered.

"Well that's great to hear Son, by the way who's this pretty young Filly? Your Fillyfriend?" Love Tap teased.

Sweetie Belle blushed from the word "Fillyfriend" and Button immediately yelled, "MOM!! She's not my Fillyfriend!!! She's just a friend."

"No need to get upset I'm just teasing, what's your name dear?" Love Tap asked Sweetie Belle.

"I'm Sweetie Belle!" Sweetie Belle greeted.

"Well, dinners almost ready if you wanna join us, does your mother know your here?" Love Tap offered.

"My Sister knows, and sure I'll join you for dinner if that's okay?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"It's alright, you can stay as long as you want." Love Tap replied happily.

Love Tap left the two ponies to themselves while she was cooking dinner.

"Wanna go see my Room?" Button asked Sweetie.

She nodded her head as a "Sure" and he took her Hoof running up the stairs causing her to stumble a bit.

Sweetie Belle blushed hard and thought in her head, "Oh my Celestia he's holding my Hoof!"

Button and Sweetie went into his room and he showed her everything that explains his personality.

"This here's my JoyBoy. You've seen me earlier with it. That there's my computer! as well as my other consoles by the T.V.!" Button explained to her.

"Wow, I didn't know you loved video games THAT MUCH?" Sweetie Belle asked in surprise.

"Of course I do! Video Games are my life! We should play them together one day." Button suggested.

Sweetie smiled at the thought of her and Button having game dates together.

"Wait,did I just think of having dates with him? Well I guess he's cute..."  Sweetie Belle thought.

"Hey Button I..." Sweetie Belle started, but was cut off by Button's mother calling them down for dinner.

"What were you gonna say Sweetie Belle?" Button asked.

"Huh? Oh. I'll tell you later alright?" Sweetie Belle answered.

"Okay!" Button happily replied.

The two of them came down to the Kitchen and Love Tap asked Button, "Button I made your favorite dish tonight! Spaghetti and Meatballs."

"MY FAVORITE!" Button shouted.

Button immediately began digging into his food eating a lot at once. Sweetie Belle on the other Hoof was eating with manners. Love Tap was impressed at Sweetie Belle but she looked at Button and yelled at him, "BUTTON PLEASE! YOUR EATING LIKE A PIG! WE HAVE A GUEST YOU KNOW!"

Button growled and ate slower, whipping his face with a Napkin.

Sweetie Belle giggled a bit and told Love Tap, "It's alright Mrs. Mash, I don't mind it."

"You can just call me Love Tap Darling." Love Tap replied.

"Darling? My sister calls everypony that word." Sweetie Belle responded.

"Who's your sister by the way?" Love Tap asked.

"Her names Rarity." Button answered.

"Yeah what he said... She's best friends with Princess Twilight though and she's really good at designing!" Sweetie Belle explained.

"Well that sounds like an interesting pony to be sisters with, you must be lucky since your probably friends with Princess Twilight?" Love Tap said.

"Yup, you guessed it!" Sweetie Belle laughed.

Love Tap smiled at her and then looked at Button Mash asking him "So Button tell me how your day went, I'm curious."

"A lot has happened, I had more fun in one day here than a years worth at Manehattan. I asked somepony around for directions to the nearest school so that I could make a friend or two my age. I went to a school that you might send me to and I quickly became friends with Sweetie Belle and her friends." Button started.

"Well, that's nice to hear! And by the way that is going to be your school." Love Tap said.

Button smiled and he continued on... saying, "After I became friends with Sweetie Belle and her friends Scootaloo and Apple Bloom, they invited me to join their Cutie Mark Crusader Club. It's where we try to find each other's Cutie Marks by Crusading and doing various things together! Or at least that's what I think?"

He turned his head to Sweetie Belle who nodded her head meaning that he was right.

"After that we all went to Sugarcube Corner and got ourselves a Milkshake... And I think Sweetie and I left ours..." Button Mash's eyes widened after he realized that.

"It's alright Button, it happens." Love Tap replied, listening to him.

"Well after that I asked Sweetie if we could hangout so she took me around the area to see some things. I showed her my house and here we are now!" Button finished quickly.

"Well I'm happy that you made friends on your first day, maybe you'll make more!" Love Tap exclaimed.

Button smiled at his mother, he quickly finished his food and Sweetie Belle did the same too.

"Hey, it's getting pretty late, Sweetie could you show me your house? I wanna meet your older sister Rarity!" Love Tap asked.

"Sure! I can show you, and by the way thanks for dinner! It was really good!" Sweetie Belle answered.

Love Tap smiled at her and she finished her food quickly as well.

"No problem, glad you liked it!" Love Tap cheered. After she finished cleaning up the place she walked both of them out of the house and followed Sweetie Belle to her house.

5 minutes later...

"Here it is! Carousel Botique!" Sweetie Belle shouted.

Love Tap examined the place and it looked nice from the outside. Sweetie Belle knocked on the door gently and a few seconds later Rarity answered the door.

"Sweetie Belle? Hi how was your day with your friend?" Rarity asked.

"It was great! I'd like you to meet my friend Button Mash and this here is his mother!" Sweetie Belle introduced the two ponies behind her.

"Hi there Rarity! Sweetie Belle's told me about you! Thought I might as well stop by and meet you." Love Tap greeted.

Button waved to her as a sign of "Hello" when she smiled at both of them.

"Nice to meet both of you! Come on in!" Rarity happily greeted them.

Button Mash and his mother entered the house and it looked very nice on the inside.

"Wow! Nice house it looks great!" Love Tap complimented.

"Thanks!" Rarity thanked her.

"And is this here my Younger Sister's Coltfriend?" Rarity teased Sweetie Belle.

"HE'S NOT MY... I give up!" Sweetie Belle complained.

"I'm just teasing darling! Calm down!" Rarity said.

Sweetie Belle looked at her in annoyance and she looked over to Button Mash.

"Wanna go see my room?" Sweetie Belle whispered.

"Sure!" Button happily answered.

The two of them ran upstairs while Love Tap and Rarity looked at each other and they knew exactly what the other was thinking... To spy on Button and Sweetie.

"This here's my room! It's not that big I know but it's comfortable." Sweetie Belle explained.

"Yeah it looks small." Button pointed out.

"Yeah but the best part is this watch!" Sweetie Belle shouted.

She ran to her Bedroom's Window and opened it to reveal a beautiful view of Ponyville. The Sun was setting and the sky was a magnificent bright Orange color. She loved sunsets, she adored them. They were really pretty to her when she saw one from a high distance off the ground. Button walked up next to her and looked at the amazing view. The two of them stayed silent for a bit until Button asked Sweetie Belle, "What were you gonna say earlier? Back in my room"

"Oh that... I was just gonna ask you if you were busy tomorrow?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"No, my whole day is free I got nothing to do tomorrow." Button sighed.

"Same." Sweetie Belle sighed in disappointment.

"Well, maybe we could go to that Arcade you showed me? Tomorrow?" Button asked.

"A-as a D-D-Date?" Sweetie Belle asked just to be sure.

"If you wanna call it a Date then be my guest, Date, Hangout, whatever floats your Boat!" Button laughed.

Sweetie Belle laughed at his comment and replied, "Sure, I'd like that!"

Button smiled at her, then he looked towards the Sunset. Sweetie Belle did the same and she looked at it too.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Yeah, but not as beautiful as you are!" Button complimented.

Sweetie Belle blushed hard and then that's where she felt like her heart was gonna explode with joy! Button went in for it and kissed her on her cheek.

"I Uh! Uh... Um... Erm..." Sweetie Belle didn't have the words.

"I'm sorry I just... I wanted to do that to Somepony! I know it sounds weird but I just think your cute and all and I just..." Button panicked.

Sweetie Belle put her Hoof on his mouth silencing him and saying, "Button, it's okay. I feel the same!"

"You do? But we just met?" Button asked.

"I know but... Your kinda c-cute so..." Sweetie Belle whispered nervously.

Button smiled at her and the two of them hugged each other. Sweetie Belle rested her head in the Crook of Button's Neck. She even grabbed his Hoof into hers and smiled.

"I think I found my other half!" Sweetie Belle thought. She grinned happily and giggled a bit.

After some time had passed, The sunset ended, both Button Mash and Sweetie Belle separated from each other and they went downstairs.

"Well Button, how do you like Ponyville?" Rarity asked Button.

"I love it!" Button Mash answered. Looking at Sweetie Belle with a light blush on her face.

"Glad to hear that Button!" Love Tap cheered.

Love Tap and Button waved goodbye to Rarity and Sweetie Belle, so they opened the front door and made their way home.

"So Button? I saw your little moment with Sweetie Belle. It was cute!" Love Tap teased him.

"YOU SPIED ON US?" Button shouted at his mother.

Love Tap giggled a bit to herself and responded back saying, "Don't worry I won't tell anypony else you have a Fillyfriend!"

"MOM!!!" Button Mash complained.

Back to the two sisters...

"So Sweetie Belle I saw your precious adorable moment with Button! My younger sister Sweetie Belle is growing up!" Rarity teased her.
