The Playa

The creature hit his ass hard he exclaimed in pain "Ouch!"

*After an assessment of his pain he got up observed his surroundings with inquisitive eyes*

"where am I at?" *The creature inquired but all he got was a dead silence*

all of a sudden stomps were heard. the creature was fearful and worse yet he still didn't know where he was at or get a proper observation of his surroundings the monster stalk his prey silently, like a hungry beast drooling at a feast ready to pounce at any moment

*the creature fearfully picks up a stick*

"who's there?!" He said in a demanding tone

turns out it was a manticore! He trembled at the very sight of the beast. shaking in great fear he knew a stick wasn't enough so he did what anypony would do.... run like hell!!!

"Ahh!" He he said as the manticore was closing in, eventually he hid himself behind a tree. The monster scoured the area searching relentlessly for it's pray, a certain amount of time passed and the beast had given up and disappeared into the depths of the everfree forest it inhabited.

*the creature breathed a sigh of relief* everything was now serene, quiet, and almost tranquil.......

*the previous day*

Timothy was a man of many flaws but he was of decent standing at his job doing almost the same thing, he knew almost everything after all he had worked there for three years. an opportunity presented itself but he was a quiet one not really one to speak up for himself. you'd think his good looks would get him laid this was not the case he is a virgin and worse yet his mother was and still is very controlling. he lived in a decent apartment with a roommate named Nicholas but he just called him Nick for short, a lot of weird shit was starting to unfold since he moved out to get away from his annoying family to live on his own one day at work....... he was cleaning the counters and an opining for assistant manager, a golden opportunity for him it was a must! He was excited however his excitement turned to sorrow when he was passed up for the promotion. he burned with jealousy after all that however it was probably his fault for not speaking up, he blew his opportunity for a chance and a bigger paycheck finally he slipped and said something he shouldn't, his boss overheard this and was furious who wouldn't be one of his own employees who has been working for three freaking years dared to make a foolish mistake.

*the boss walked up to him and let out a sigh with a serous expression on his face* he uttered the most painful statement to any employees

"I'm sorry Timothy but your fired!"

Tim was in utter shock the job he worked for a long time just terminated his employment after so long! He grunted and said angrily

"FINE! FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THE STUPID FUCKING TOILETS AND TABLES!!!" Tim tore off his tag and took off his uniform in extreme frustration and stormed out, got into his car and was driving his ass home. previously he wished for a girlfriend and a new life and fresh start they say be careful what you wish. Tim drove very recklessly when all of a sudden BAM! he crashed into another car hard and totalled his own car very fortunate for him he just blacked out as the other driver was gonna come out in anger a strange portal opened up and sucked him in..........
