The Elements of Harmony, they had saved Equestria time and again. However, to save the Tree of Harmony, they were returned to it. Now Equestria was bereft of its greatest weapon, and the Elements were not the only things bound to the Tree. Celestia, Luna and Twilight, Equestria's ruling triarch, now find themselves facing an ancient foe from a period best forgotten. Enemies they thought long gone, banished to the far ends of the world. Unfortunately for them, the world is quite the small place. A few thousand years of peace and stability had kept their citizens warm and safe, but now that a new threat had finally emerged and makes their move upon Equestria, will they be capable of protecting Equestria by themselves?
