In the days since; I had moved all my stuff from my parents house to the flat Rainbow Dash had just off the park. My folks  where planning to leave for Argentina and  I was to left behind without so much as the rent on the house partly paid by them...they expected an eviction notice on the door soon after they left. I guess the love of those who give you life can only go so far and lasts so long before they reveal themselves for who they really are. Masks come off and you become a stranger to them, memories of time spent together become meaningless snapshots of days that have no relevance to them anymore.

I looked at the brown jacket Gilda had given me; Rarity had taken the liberty of sewing the logo patches into the leather shell, The big four of the FF, Daredevil's D's, a skull, Captain America's mighty shield where the big four patches. I looked over at the desk in my bedroom to the old cigar box I had decorated with Spider-man stickers, popping the lid open a collection of metal buttons began to rattle as the box moved ever so softly. I shuffled through the assortment picking up the X-men logo,  and the Deadpool icon. Then I added the buttons onto my jacket. I slipped a real sterling silver Green Lantern ring on my right ring finger, and tucked a Blue Lantern one in my pocket. I threw on a Spider-Man shirt with my jacket over it and admired the wavy crop of hair on my head.

The Canterlot City Shopping Mall, some call it a relic of a bygone era due to be cast aside for the age of downsized shops, online orders, and all the other things that have caused shopping malls to die. Frankly I never saw it that way. So many memories from this place. I looked around taking in the three stories the mall consisted of; The shoppers moving too and fro from the assorted stores selling their wares. From the outlets Toys R Us with all the unsold merch from the big one out by the I-19 somewhere, to a little kiosk selling hand grown flowers run by Lily Valley. I looked around for starlight but couldn't find her anywhere among the faces. I decided to pull out my phone and text her.

"Hey, where are you star? can't see you anywhere."

"I'm upstairs at the Johnny Rockets." She texted back, sounding quite excited. Was she anxious to sing on the mic? Whatever the reason for her enthusiasm, at least she had it. I made my way up to the third floor and looked around the restaurants they had up there. A violet arm raises at a table and waves me over. She's sitting at a table; her attitude changed a lot since I've seen her. She  changed into a hot pink jacket over a white short blouse that showed off her midriff, with her namesake starlight insignia on the front. She had a tight short skirt on and thigh high boots with long heels. She smiled at tapped the seat next to her.

"Hey, glad you could make it Petey." She said softly kissing my cheek making me blush red.

"Hey, a little sporadic there don't you think?" I asked as she nuzzled my side like a pet.

"You have no idea how much my life's improved since you made me a hero."

"I saw how bad everyone was treating you, It wasn't right, but I wanted to give them a reason to see your not the egomaniac they knew you as...no offense"

"None taken" Sunset Shimmer said as she walked by us.

"Not you Sunset." I said with a chuckle.

"I just...I want you to stay with me, spend time with me...can you?" She asked showing that she was seeming aware of me having been involved with two other girls.

"But...Gilda and Dashie, I already promised myself to them...In a way." I said blushing as I reached into my pocket for the Blue Lantern ring.

"I asked them both about this, I told them I really like you, and how you've been like...a savant to me after so much...I like you Peter....in fact I think...I love you." She said as she softly reached out and holding my hand lovingly. She looked me in the eyes with a soft loving glint, she lowered her lid's to show her long lashes and the violet shade of mascara she'd lightly painted her eyes with, and a soft kiss she blew made her glossy violet on her lips...Well...Glimmer and shine sexily.

"I love you too Starlight." I said as my hand shook as I tried to take the ring from my pocket, I held it in my curled fingers and she blushed and giggled cutley as she asked.

"What you got there cutie?"

"Just something I wanted to give you, to show how much I" I said nothing else as I handed the Blue Lantern ring to her. "It's not a Kay diamond ring...but I hope you still...MMMPPH!" I was cut off as her fully voluptuous lips touched mine and she kissed me tenderly, her chest pressed so close to mine I could practically hear the pounding of her heart. She must have never done this before as she focused more on just Frenching our puckered lips together, but I didn't care. I know its kinda old to say this, but I Wished our kiss could have lasted forever. As I wrapped my arms around her waist and back as she slowly and softly pulled away from me, it felt like it did. She looked back at me with the final remnants of her icy shell cracked. Her large ego humbled, and above all she felt what it truly was like to love and be loved.

"It's beautiful." She said slipping the ring on her finger as if it was a....ok it wasn't I swear, I guess I'm just old fashioned that way...Or I would be if my track record didn't include two other girls already! I guess it just comes with the territory of being modern. Besides, it's not like we were cruising and/or catting (seriously) for one night stands that would be meaningless by morning. There was something really between us, and I could feel it, and I knew she could too.

"Let's get our tickets." She said getting up from her seat and taking my hand.

"You read my mind sweetheart." As we made our way to the movie theater, I noticed she clung to my shoulder, and while she walked she gave the on lookers a sashaying sway of her full hips, each one making her rear sway with every single step.
