Rainbow Dash was fidgeting impatiently and wishing the train from Canterlot to Ponyville she was on would hurry up and get to the Ponyville station already. It had been a long stressful week, and the worn out pegasus wanted nothing more than to put everything behind her by returning home to her marefriend and taking a long well earned break away from anything work related. Unfortunately she still had one last obstacle in the form of a long train ride to get through before she could see her adorkable egghead again. If only the train would go faster.

Rainbow sighed dejectedly, and began banging her head repeatedly against the window in the hopes of distracting her thoughts away from Twilight sparkle and thus relieving her strong anxiousness to see the beautiful mare. When her mind stubbornly remained filled with thoughts of her marefriend, Rainbow began pacing up and down the isle to release some of her pent up energy. When that didn’t work, she went back to her seat and began fidgeting with her saddlebags. That lasted only several seconds before she went back to banging her head against the window.

Why is this train so slow? Seriously, I could fly faster than this!

Rainbow stopped banging her head against the window, and instead began staring out of it judging its speed and her odds of actually making it off the train without getting caught in its wind currents. The part of her desperate enough to try anything that got her back to her unicorn as fast as possible was willing to take the risk, but the practical side of her was only just able to push those thoughts away.

No sense in getting seriously hurt. Twilight would just get really freak out and worried.

With her plans on flying back to Ponyville shattered, Rainbow resigned herself to moping the rest of the trip. Besides, she had gone five days without seeing her holding her marefriend, another five minutes wouldn’t kill her. Though during those five days she had been distracted most of the day by training and organizing Canterlot’s new weather team, and during the night she was really quite distracted by her hoof on her marehood and fantasies of Twilight dancing around her mind as she bought herself to intense climaxes.

Clopping to fantasies of Twilight always gave her the best climaxes, but no orgasms ever came close to the times when they were given to her by the real mare. Rainbow finally noticed her hoof coming dangerously close to touching her marehood, and with a bright blush covering her muzzle she shifted into a less revealing position and silently thanked Celestia nopony had noticed she had come close to getting herself off right there on the train.

Damn it Twi! Why do you have to keep driving me crazy like this?

Rainbow glanced at the clock on the wall at the end of the carriage and gave a groan of despair as she saw she still had four minutes left till the train pulled into Ponyvile.

Just a few more minutes Dash, you can keep it together for just a few more minutes.

But even as she reassured herself, she knew it was going to be the longest four minutes of her life.

Twilight was anxiously pacing around in the middle of Ponyville’s market place desperately praying for the time to go by faster while she waited for Rainbow’s train to pull into Ponyville. Every second that passed felt like an eternity without her pegasus’s embrace and she just wanted the torture of waiting to end. The only reason she wasn’t at the train station was because her friends insisted she come with them to Ponyville’s mark place so her mind could have some distractions from her marefriend while she waited.

“Twilight darling, you really must try and relax, it’s only three minutes until the Twelve O’clock train gets here...”

Twilight stopped pacing and her ears fell as she sat down on her haunches, and all four of her friends felt a part of their hearts break at the look of complete despair that come over her expression and Twilight’s bottom lip began quivering. “Three minutes?...” a single tear fell from Twilight’s cheek darkening her fur as it left a wet path down her cheek. “H-how am I supposed to wait three minutes when I need my pegasus now?”

She tried to hold back the flood of tears that were threatening to spill over, but it was a losing battle and soon all her friends were hugging and comforting her as she cried. But the only touch that would calm her down was that of her lover who seemed worlds away from the upset unicorn.

“There there Twilight,” Fluttershy comforted. “The wait will be over soon.”

Twilight gave a sad sniffle and looked at her friends with large sad eyes. “I just want the wait to be over now. Why can’t it just be over now?” More tears slid from her eyes and her friends continued comforting the distraught unicorn.

“How ‘bout we go ta the train station now and wait for Dash there?” Applejack suggested.

On the train Rainbow Dash wasn’t faring much better as she gritted her teeth and glared angry daggers at the clock hanging on the wall. Only two minutes remained until the trained arrived in Ponyville, but it was two minutes too long for the pegasus who just wanted to get off and be with her unicorn as fast as possible.

Come on come on come on come on. Just get to Twelve o’clock already.

The second hand finished another circle around the clock, and Rainbow felt sweat forming on her forehead as the hour hand came even closer to to the twelve. She just wanted this whole thing to be over so she could finally be with her marefriend after such a long absence away from her.

“Next stop Ponyville!” shouted the conductor.

“Finally!” Rainbow exclaimed collecting her saddle bags and practically flying to the nearest door off the train. She was vibrating with unchecked excitement and energy as she waited impatiently for the train to come to a stop and the doors to open revealing her marefriend standing there waiting to greet her. “Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on. Damn it! Hurry up and open!” Rainbow kicked the door in frustration and glanced at the clock only to find she still had thirty seconds before twelve O’clock arrived.

Each tick of the clock was feeling like an eternity to the pegasus who so desperately wanted nothing more than to sweep her unicorn lover off of her hoofs and hold her tightly in her arms. Fifteen seconds! Rainbow stretched her wings to get them ready for a speedy take off. She could practically feel Twilight’s soft fur intermingling with her own as they held each other, but there was ten seconds left till the doors open.

Ten!

Nine!

Eight!

Seven!

Six!

Five!

Four!

Three!

Rainbow settled into a take off stance and tried her best to stop her legs and wings to stop twitching as the adrenaline from her overexcitement at finally seeing Twilight coursed through her blood stream.

Two!

One!

As soon as the train doors opened, Rainbow shot off like a bullet leaving a distinctive rainbow trail behind her as she flew as fast as she could off the train and began searching desperately for Twilight.

“RAINBOW! OVER HERE!”

The pegasus instantly changed her direction and flew as fast as she could towards the distinctive violet color of her lover who was trying desperately to push her way through the thick crowd of ponies coming off or getting onto the train.

“I’M COMING TWI!”

Rainbow shot downwards and landed in front of Twilight who gave a surprised, yet delighted, ‘eep’ as she was tackled by her enthusiastic lover. “DASHIE! I missed you so...MMPH!” Twilight was cut off as Rainbow’s muzzle suddenly met hers and the pegasus’s tongue slipped past her lips and wrestled Twilight’s tongue into submission. She was only too happy to let Rainbow take the lead as she had missed her pegasus too much to care about asserting her dominance. Rainbow’s hoof began gliding softly through her mane before making its way down her back and stopping just above her tail before making its way back up to her mane. Every little touch from Rainbow sent electric tingles through her body which was a sensation she had dearly missed during her lover’s absence. Rainbow’s tongue began exploring every inch of her mouth while her hooves got busy reacquainting themselves with her body. The clopping fantasies she had about Twilight while staying alone in her Canterlot Castle room were nothing compared to experiencing being with the real pony of her fantasies and affectations.

After several more seconds of making out on the train platform the two lover reluctantly pulled apart to catch their breath. Twilight gave a little sob and held her pegasus even tighter against her body. “I’m never letting you go anywhere for that long without me again! I missed you so much Dashie!” Rainbow made a comforting noise and softly wiped away her tears.

“I’m here now Twi, and I’m not going anywhere without you ever again.”

Twilight’s only response was to grab the back of Rainbow’s head and pull her back into a deep kiss. Her hooves slid down Rainbows toned body stopping over her lovers cutie marks causing Rainbow to coo approvingly as she delicately messaged them. Rainbow’s own hoof made their way down Twilight’s chest, and the unicorn shifted her tail and opened her back legs to allow easy access to her marehood. Rainbow’s own tail began lifting as well, and Twilight began moving her hoofs further towards Rainbow’s warm wet spot of pleasure.

“AHEM!”

The two mares were bought from their private world of pleasure and bliss as they became aware of the real world watching all around them. Blushing brightly at the extremely hot, and extremely revealing position they found themselves in the two lovers broke apart but Twilight was instantly tucked underneath her pegasus’s wing. Twilight snuggled further into the soft embrace instantly feeling better than she ever had during the past week.

“Heh, sorry about that guys,” Rainbow smiled sheepishly and nuzzled Twilight’s cheek affectionately causing Twilight to hum contently at the contact. “But as you can tell we really missed each other.”

The rest of their friends were all blushing brightly at the hot making out session they had just witnessed, and Rarity cleared her throat to try and relieve the awkwardness. “We completely understand darlings, Twilight was a complete wreck during your absence.”

“What?!” Rainbow turned a concerned gaze to the unicorn tucked securely under her wing. “Why didn’t you tell me that Twi, I would have been on the next train back to Ponyville.”

Fresh tears stung Twilight’s eyes and she nuzzled Rainbow’s chest as she snuggled further into her lover’s warm and soft embrace. “I-I couldn’t Dashie, your job is...”

“Nothing compared to making sure you’re happy and safe.”

“Why don’t you two lovey dovies get reacquainted back at the library?” Pinkie suggested. “The rest of us can wait to hear how it went in Canterlot till later.”

Twilight wiped the tears from her eyes and gazed lovingly at her pegasus. “Nopony disturb us till tomorrow morning.” Twilight looked thoughtful for a moment. “On second thought, nopony disturb us until Tuesday.” Twilight’s horn glowed and she was already bringing Rainbow into another passionate kiss before she teleported them back to the library.

“Tuesday?” Fluttershy asked softly. “That’s a week from now.”

Applejack just chuckled and began walking back to Ponyville. “I guess they just wanna make up for lost time.”
