When Big Macintosh hears about a new settlement which is in dire need of workers, he sets out to find this "Oak Valley" to assist the town in it's rough, early, days to obtain a more stable, and profitable, line of income for the Apples. Not only does he find a job, but a marefriend, too. However, all is not perfect in Oak Valley, as the town will continue to suffer, from famine to sickness, bandit to disaster, alike. How will the red stallion pull the town through these hardships?
