Lightning and thunder crackled around the Canterlot Mental Hospital as rain combined with the already frightening atmosphere. A lone figure strolled through the streets taking careful steps towards the building containing the unstable. The large darkly colored gates swung open causing a large crash and flashes of lightning barely made the building's sign visible in the pitch black night. Screams could be heard combined with crazed laughs and struggling. No one dared to visit the dreadful place it hadn't had a visitor in years the reason being the ponies sent there were usually too corrupted to be visited. So after the lack of visiting it was banned and no one ever passes through those empty doors any more that was why the doors were rusted and hanging off making it easy for any patient to escape, and the employees were just as crazed as the patients having to deal with one hundred floors of madness, they never slept just drank fluids containing unhealthy amounts of caffeine. The figure pushed the door open with ease and stepped inside only to be greeted by a stallion rushing in front of them and have their hand shaken. The pony moved forward their cloak was brightened by a dim light revealing the cloaked figure was in fact a unicorn. After being greeted the still unidentified unicorn spoke to the manager who was calmly sitting by the registration desk.

"Excuse me may you lead me to room 347 I need to visit a um well a....friend...sort of" The manager gave the unicorn a look.

"Visiting has been banned for years and I'm especially not taking you to that room"The pony started to get more aggressive.

"Fine maybe this will change your mind" She lit up her horn and using telekinesis removed the cloak identifying the unicorn immediately the manager's eyes went wide.

"P-P-P-Princess Twilight...my apologies Princess but you will have to go alone I believe employees are not allowed to visit floors on non-shifts is that fine Princess"

"Yes that would actually be better I need to be alone with this specific patient" the stallion bowed and walked back to his desk.

"Hold on I'll just power up the elevators for you and turn the power on. Okay?" Twilight nodded. "And we are online. You may now use any electricity source in the building and er take this just in case" The manager threw her a black earpiece.

"Your really paranoid about this place aren't you" Said Twilight smirking.

"Who wouldn't be?"

"Anyway I shall talk to you later sir"

"Good luck Madam" Twilight walked towards the elevator and stepped onto the steel platform as the structure ascended Twilight slumped down to the floor and sighed. "What am I doing? Do I really have to do this? Wait of course I don't then why am I doing it uh everything has just been confusing ever since the incident. Twilight was still trying to process the fact that she had lost not one but two elements of harmony she had to save the day from the Changelings a few months earlier with only four of them they barely kept them from storming and capturing Canterlot. It didn't matter how tragic the scene was she had to get her stuff together and move on but for her, for a Princess it was easier said than done.

BANG! BANG! the sound crashed on the roof of the elevator Twilight was startled and looked around the small space for where it was coming from but then a whisper speaking some kind of gibberish continued for what seemed like hours Twilight started to panic she was in an elevator and there was something with her in there. With every floor Twilight passed the noise got louder. She looked up and saw the safety hatch was open and she heard scuttling coming from the cables holding up the elevator. The sound stopped and the cables snapped and the elevator flew downwards before a sudden stop on floor 17.

Twilight cleared her eyes from the smoke entering the elevator as radio sound started buzzing in her head before a worried voice started speaking. "Princess....Princess are you there god dammit don't tell me you-"

"No I'm not dead.......yet"

"Oh thank god. By the way that was a pretty intense fall you injured do you need medical assistance"

"No I don't think so"

"Hold on I'll get you down from there in just a second"

"NO! I need to carry on"

"Seriously you just fell from a ten foot drop in an elevator and you want to carry on. You know what your a Princess do what you want and remember contact me if you need me"

"I will. Thanks"

Twilight straightened her self up and moved towards the opening doors of the elevator. She took a step forward and slipped straight away her head connected with the ground at excessive speed and sickening crack was heard as she hit the ground her vision was blurred she was slipping out of consciousness fast the last thing she could feel was a liquid reaching her mouth tasting like a combination of salt and metal just before falling unconscious she realised it was blood.

Twilight was awakening her body aching as she attempted to regain her normal state it seemed she was in a foggy hallway with smoke,dust and cobwebs everywhere. Giggling was coming from a steel plated door followed with what seemed like.....crying?
and groans of agony the voices seemed oh too familiar. She crawled to the gap in the heavy door before sh made it to open the door red liquid started to pool out from the door she lunged to the door handle and forced the door open a pink pony covered in...in..blood and a rainbow mane pon- no it couldn't be this....this..this isn't real.

"But it is Twilight" echoed a voice.

"No...no it's not your just a dream"

"Oh you got all that wrong this is real because were a nightmare and nightmares make their own reality ha ha ha ha ha ha"

"No...no....no...NO!"

"Twilight Twilight Twilight"

"Stop it stop it"

"Twilight sugarcube are you okay you just kicked off and started screaming we were hecka worried about ya at home ya feelin any better" Applejack began.

"No It's worse" Twilight replied.

"Worse what's worse darling" Asked Rarity.

Twilight's eyes turned red and she grabbed Rarity by the throat. " I'll tell you what gets worse the monster hiding under the bed the killer watching you from your closet or the baker with a new fresh batch of Cupcakes huh you get it now you little marshmallow retarded freak"

"TWILIGHT!" the 4 shouted.

"Why...are..you...doing..this" Rarity said tearing up.

"Kill her Twilight kill all of them they never helped me when I was in danger from Pinkie in fact neither did you so go kill yourself you all took something from me but Pinkie Pinkie took everything from me my Friends,My dream and of course my lil sis and now she's gonna pay your all gonna pay"

"Wake up Twilight this isn't you" Applejack yelled as Twilight eyes turned violet again and she saw what she did she looked around her and fell into her pillow staring blankly at the ceiling.

"Twi what did ya see tell us what's happening. Please."

"We are all going to die one by one organ by organ as she tears your flesh of the body"

"Who is this her you refer to Twi?"

"Her" she pointed her hoof fowards and they all looked to see a dark pink straight maned pony sitting there crying."
