Your Deepest Desires

Previous ChapterNext Chapter"Ah, yes, we get those from time to time, so don't feel strange for asking. My children tend to call them 'cuddlers'. If that is what you deeply desire, right this way." She leads you off into a deeper part of the establishment, on the way you hear her click her tongue or something similar, and another smaller changeling appears by her side. "Perdrisa, you need to set up the lodge."
The changeling salutes and darts off with such speed that you can't see where it's going.
"This excursion needs setting up, so if you would be so kind as to wait for 30 seconds before opening this door, my attentions are required elsewhere. Have a good time!"
In your head, you begin to count.
28... 29... 30!
The anticipation is tying your stomach into a knot; the excitement of the situation bores into your chest as you breathe deeply. You turn the door's knob, open it, and step into the room. A sudden, bright light pierces into your eyes. You lift a hoof to shield your face from the unexpected pain, and strange warmth. The action makes you notice that your hoof has dirt on it; you look down to notice that you are, in fact, standing on a dirt road. The warmth heats up your skin almost like you are directly in the sun, and it looks as though you are, when you let your hoof fall, you can see the sun setting in the West.
You break out of your confusion as you hear a door close behind you.
You quickly look back to find that the door you stepped through is gone, there is only a long dirt path leading into a town that looks familiar. Questions flood your mind, did the door just teleport you to the outside? Before you have long to dwell on this however, a peaceful, melodic singing glides its way into your ears, mixing with the blissful sounds of birdsong.
You turn back around to face this new sound, and you are confronted with something that sets your heart alight. There is a beautiful yellow pegasus with a flowing pink mane and luscious tail fluttering around a quaint forest-side cottage, carrying what looks to be a watering can. She's flittering about various pot plants, giving them the live sustaining water they deserve.
Her soft dance in the sky is hypnotic, you find yourself moving towards her, without really minding your actions. With every soft crunch of soil beneath your hooves, your anticipation grows, alongside your excitement and heart rate. A rush of energy strikes your system, and you suddenly become acutely aware of your surroundings.
The world around you feels so vibrant, so alive. You can feel the wind dance off your fur, you can feel it tugging against your ears. You can smell the grass around you as if it is real. The small clouds of dust picked up by the wind taste stale, like dirt should be, and it leaves a dry, dusty feeling in your nose. The infinite perplexity of this is not lost on you, yet you feel like it hardly matters now, not that you have this beautiful angel in your sights.
As you close in on the house, Fluttershy looks in your direction and spots you. Your heart melts from the bright smile she sends your way. She drops the watering can she was holding and quickly (well, her own version of quickly) flies down to where you are to wrap you in her arms and wings.
You let out a content sigh as her pleasant fragrance enters your nose, banishing the feeling of very real dust. As her warmth surrounds you, you find that you don't care about how or why she is here, you don't care about how you got here, all you care about is the angel holding you in her arms. You wrap your hooves around her, and lean into the warming hug, you let go of all your worries, and your doubts. You just stay like this, content in the warmth of your mare, and the warmth of the setting sun.
She suddenly pulls back from the hug and kisses you on the lips. It was brief, a feint touch of her lips upon yours, yet to you it felt like the sensation lasted for a good long while, immeasurable by simple seconds. You honestly wouldn't mind if you were to die right then and there, for as far as you are concerned, this is the happiest you would ever be. So like that, you lingered on the feeling of her lips against yours, the surroundings melting all into a wash of oranges and a feeling of love.
The sound of angelic bells litter you surroundings and you become blissfully aware that she is giggling, and that you've had the same spaced out look for at least 10 seconds now. You shake your head as an embarrassed smile worms its way onto your face and you return to the moment.
She leans in and nuzzles you, "I was waiting for you dear," she said as she gently caressed your face with hers, "I was wondering when you'd get back home."
Home. The mere mention of that strikes a chord within you, and you begin to feel, happy. Ecstatic happiness floods your system as you fall helplessly in love with the mare in your arms. You laugh as the emotions brew and bubble inside of you.
"Come on," she whispers into your ear, "It's getting late."
A quick look behind her tells you that it is indeed getting late, the sun is sinking below the horizon, casting an ethereal glow upon the scenery, outlining the mare of your dreams in a beautiful corona of orange. Eventually you let your arms fall, but not before placing a delicate kiss on her cheek, she giggles that wonderful, angelic, giggle of hers and leads you up the path to her house. You follow her inside, she makes her way to the kitchen.
"Wait at the table please," she said, lifting a wing to point towards a table set with two chairs and placemats, "I made us some dinner. Just some sandwiches, nothing too fancy..." She pauses for a moment, before looking back at you with a worried look, "You don't mind do you?"
You tell her you don't mind as you make your way to the seat facing away from the kitchen.
She smiles that beautiful smile of hers, and disappears into the kitchen. You are left alone; so you are able to sit back for a moment, to truly think about where you are. A little gap in consciousness, you know that you entered Moxxi's hive, but somehow, they've set up an intricate array of illusions or something to make it seem like you were outside, and actually at Fluttershy's cottage. You don't dwell on it though.
"Dinner's ready!" Fluttershy called in that sweet melodic whisper she's known for. She walks up to your left with a plate in either wing, as she places your plate down, you lift a hoof up and cup her cheek, pulling her in for a peck. She giggles and shakes you off, then gives you a kiss before she walks to the other side of the table to set her plate and herself down.
You smile at her and lift the sandwich up, you briefly wondered what the sandwich would taste like, if it would be any different. You take a bite out of it, and are taken back by just how normal it tastes. You can feel the texture of the bread on your teeth, and the taste of the flour mixing with the watery taste of cucumber and daisy. Cucumber and daisy sandwiches, one of Fluttershy's specialties. You let off a small chuckle and shake your head before taking another bite.
"Do you- do you like it?" She asks over her own sandwich, "I know it's not much, but I had to use some of our food to feed the animals today, I forgot to get more feed for the dears."
You hold a hoof up, so she would wait a bit while you finish your mouthful, you reassure her that it is fine, you wouldn't have dinner any other way. You know in your heart that you really wouldn't mind what kind of food she'd give you, you tell her that, if she made it, it would be perfect in every way.
She blushes, turns her head just slightly, and returns to her meal. Your heart melts at her reaction, you can be certain that whatever Fluttershy does, would have this certain grace and feel to it that you couldn't not find it adorable. You get back to your sandwich.
Once dinner has been eaten you stand up and offer to take the plates to the kitchen.
"Oh no, no please, you don't have to do that for me!" she hastily says, "I'll take care of them, you just wait upstairs for me." She smiles that wonderful smile of hers so you can't decline her. You give your plate to her and plant another kiss on her cheek. Her cheeks reddened slightly as a small blush fell on her face. You then make your way upstairs to wait for her.
Soon enough, you hear the gentle clopping of hooves using the stairs. Thinking quickly, you decide to surprise her. You rush to turn the lights off and hide behind the stair well. In the darkness you can see Fluttershy's head rise from the stairs; she hasn't noticed you yet.
"H-hello? Where have you gone?" she makes her way to the light switch, you stalk behind her without making a sound. She flicks the light on, she looks to her right, and you step to her left. Once she calls out for you again, you tap her on the back. She gasps and spins around quickly, you step back to prevent a head on collision. Once she stops moving, you dive in and kiss her right on her startled lips. She lets out a gasp then a sigh through her nose and leans in to the kiss.
She then bops you gently on the head shortly after.
You break the kiss with confusion taking hold of your face. She scolds you in the way only she knows how, with a bit of a hoof flick and forced frown that's being slowly overtaken by a genuine smile.
"Don't do that again!" She says in a just barely raised voice, her smile tainting the edges of her reprimand.
You tell her that you're sorry, and she says it's all right, so you smile and hold her close. You just stay like that for a while, just basking in her warmth and comfort. She soon interrupts the moment.
"Come on dear, it's already late, let's get to bed."
You nod and let her go, she flitters over to the bed. You follow her. Once she touches down, a yawn overtakes her features; she sits down on the bed and stretches her forearms. You were right, everything she does has this elegance that you find adorable every time, she stretches out her arms as if she were reaching to the air for a hug, your heart flitters at the sight and your lips curl into a smile. Her yawn is infectious, your ears click and soon you find yourself yawning too.
Once your lungs have filled to capacity, and you've let out all of the days troubles, worries and aches in once slow exhale, you make your way to the bed where she is waiting for you. You step up on the bed as she opens up the covers with a wing. You slide in underneath the covers, and scoot into a comfortable position. Once you are in, Fluttershy rolls over slightly to reach a secondary light switch to turn the lights off once more. Darkness fall around you, yet you couldn’t be any less worried.
The wing that was holding the blanket up wraps around you and tugs on you, drawing you in with limited success. To reciprocate the action, you curl your arms around her and pull her close to you. Your eyes fall onto her, and you find that you don't want them to be anywhere else. You honestly wouldn't mind if the flows of pink and yellow would be the last thing you were to ever see. She sighs, letting the bliss of the moment carry through her and into you. You find yourself getting tired; slowly your eyes are becoming heavy. Gently, the moment fills you with a deep, personal feeling of compassion and affection.
You push in and kiss her on the lips, she pushes back and into you. The kiss solidifying this moment forever in your mind, at this moment, you are happy, everything else is unimportant. The only thing that matters is the mare in your arms. After a good long while, the kiss ends, she digs herself closer to you and sighs into your chest.
"I love you," she whispers so quietly, so softly into your barrel, as if those words were meant for you and you alone. You take them and gently give them back.
"I love you too."
Then quietly, and oh so gently, you drift off to sleep with the mare of your dreams tucked away in your arms.
This is, without a doubt the best brothel you've ever been to.
The next morning finds you waking up in a nondescript bed, hugging a pillow. That was one of the best sleeps you've had for a long time. Moxxi is there to greet you once you've awoken.
"Welcome back to the land of the living, perhaps the love you shared wasn't completely real, but hopefully it has given you some satisfaction." Moxxi offers you a hoof to help you out of bed. Once you are up, you straighten yourself as best you can. Moxxi continues, "Any food you had during your time here was purely a fabrication; it's wise to seek breakfast once you leave."
You nod at her advice, Moxxi then gestures for you to follow her, presumably out of the building. You have no reason to doubt her, so you follow her.
On the way, Moxxi speaks to you a short farewell message, "Do not be disheartened that your affections were used in something tantamount to a dream, because dreams are what make ponies who they are, it gives them purpose and reason to live."
Moxxi finishes up her speech as you reach the front door, she stops in the hallway to give you one last message, "Please do return at any time, our doors are always open to a pony with a dream." She waves you off as you disembark to take on the city.
But first, breakfast.
