Guard Tiara: The Grand Guard Games

After having a nice meal and delicious dessert at Sugarcube Corner, the group went to Sweet Apple Acres, and the converted barn that Apple Bloom now called home. There, Diamond Tiara then proceeded to tell the others about her meeting with Queen Insidious. This time, she actually felt comfortable enough to admit to them what she had experienced. This also led to her telling about her adventure with the Crystal Heart and subsequent fight with the changeling which supposedly became the queen somehow.

At the encouragement of Rumble, Diamond then told a version of her fight with Aura. There was some cringing at the description of dislocating the ankle and breaking the jaw, but several showed additional fascination at the last part.

As the afternoon shifted toward evening, the others began make their excuses to head out. Not that Diamond Tiara was too upset over the matter. It had been nice spending some time with them all, but Diamond was also looking forward to some alone time with Apple Bloom.

Before leaving, Babs Seed came up and pulled Diamond Tiara aside.

"If you want to try out being at a fight club again," Babs said softly, "just let me know." She grinned and gave a wink, before re-joining Scootaloo. That piqued Diamond Tiara's curiosity, but now was not really the time to find out about it.

Soon all the others had left, leaving just Diamond Tiara and Apple Bloom.

"So," Apple Bloom said gently, "how are you feeling about the whole thing?"

"I'm okay for the most part," Diamond answered. Reaching out, she wrapped a foreleg around the other mare. "Although to be honest... I kind of feel like I failed."

"Failed?" Apple Bloom repeated, looking up at Diamond Tiara with her big golden eyes.

"Queen Insidious is still out there, somewhere," Diamond explained, "and I couldn't stop her. She managed to get me and escape to continue frightening ponies and doing who knows what else she had planned. Plus, in a way I am responsible for her, if she was telling the truth about somehow being the changeling I had accidentally impaled. That doesn't include the implication that I'm going to see her again some day." Diamond Tiara let out a huff, rubbing at her forehead.

"Hey," Apple Bloom said, reaching up to take Diamond's hoof. "You did your best, which is all anypony can ask. Plus, you were the one who found out about Queen Insidious. Besides you're still new at this whole thing. The princesses aren't going to stop searching for her."

"Although I doubt that will do much good now," Diamond Tiara huffed out.

"What do you mean?"

"If I were in her hooves," Diamond Tiara explained, "I wouldn't stay around The Crystal Empire now that I was discovered. I would go into hiding. Considering what she could do, probably go to a large city where nopony could find me and I have plenty of victims to scare. A place like Manehattan, or Las Pegasus. But if I thought of that, it's likely one of the princesses did as well, which Insidious also could have considered. So she could be anywhere. Even here in Ponyville...or Canterlot... Just imagine how much fear it would create if ponies were being attacked in the very towns that a princess lived. At least I'm lucky enough to be in --"

"That's right," Apple Bloom said with a smirk. "I can take care of myself." She then moved closer to Diamond Tiara, pressing against her. "And I know how to take care of you." Her eyes narrowed. "Why don't we go to the bedroom, and I'll show you how well I can." She then pulled away, turning to head for the bedroom.

With a smile, Diamond Tiara watched Apple Bloom for a moment, taking in the sway of the muscular flank as moved. She then followed after Bloom, continuing to watch while her imagination begun to create images of what were to come.

"Here we are," Apple Bloom purred out as she moved toward the bed. "Just lay down and let Apple Bloom make you feel better."

Doing as she was told, Diamond Tiara climbed into the bed. Laying down on her side, she stretched out, watching the other mare curiously.

Smiling, Apple Bloom climbed onto the bed as well, standing above Diamond Tiara. Leaning down, Bloom placed a kiss on Diamond's forehead. It was then followed by a kiss on the nose, the lips, and then the chin. Bloom's kisses continued along Diamond's body, lips barely touching the skin before going lower. Slowly, Apple Bloom kissed along Diamond Tiara's jaw, across her throat, and down her chest as she went lower and lower.

Diamond Tiara's eyes closed as she felt the teasing kisses moving along her fur and skin. Her muscles tensed at the faint touch, a hint of tickling mixing with building desire. With each lower kiss, Diamond became more excited, more aroused.

The kisses soon reached her stomach, where they seemed to hesitate.

Diamond Tiara jumped and kicked, shrieking out in laughter as Apple Bloom suddenly blew a massive raspberry on her stomach.

"YES!" Apple Bloom shouted, throwing up her front hooves. "Vengeance is mine!"

"You are so weird some times," Diamond Tiara said, still chuckling as she rubbed the spot she had just been blown on.

"It worked, didn't it?" Apple Bloom asked, raising an eyebrow. "And I did say I'd get you back for the clubhouse thing."

"Yes," Diamond conceded. "It did." Moving to sit up, she grabbed at Apple Bloom, pulling her close. "Now, how about we make sure we both feel really good?"

Leaning in, the two kissed each other.
