A Normal Day

It's a bright, sunny, and not so bloody day at Dustbowl. Rainbow was checking her barrels in her scattergun to see if there was anything wrong, Rarity was no where to be seen, Twilight's checking her sniper-rifle and had already put down a fresh jar of jarate, Pinkie's filling her flamethrower, giggling, Derpy's checking the resupply closet with Big Mac for his sanvich, Berry Punch has been passed out for a good ten minutes, Fluttershy's making another batch of her needles, and Applejack is cleaning her goggles.

"Alright girls, and Big Mac, we have to capture their points," Twilight said, keeping her eyes on what she's doing.

"They actually have a score?" Rainbow asked looking up. Pinkie laughs along with Applejack, but the others don't have an expression since they've heard it before or aren't listening. When Rainbow saw something down one barrel, she tried to reach in and grab it, but unknown to her, someone invisible slowly pulled the trigger. Once it was fully pulled, Rainbow's arm was blown off, one finger went flying and hits her face. "SON OF A BITCH!" She yelled, immense pain in what's left of her arm. Fluttershy groaned and grabbed the medigun. She started to heal the poor mare's arm. Rainbow's arm, like magic, regrew.

"Rarity, how many times did I tell you to stop blasting at least some part of Rainbow Dash off!" She almost yelled. Rarity, appearing and rolling her eyes, smirked at the glaring cyan anthro in front of her.

"Well, darling, it's not my fault she keeps getting blood on my suit," she said simply. Rainbow, quick as lightning, got a bat, and swung at Rarity in the head. She fell down, limp. Rainbow swirled and tried to hit Rarity behind her. Rarity dodged, smirking. "Finally realizing how my interesting gadget works?" She asks, gesturing to her dead-ringer. Rainbow only glared and returned to cleaning her gun.

"Round is starting in three minutes!" Yelled a celestial voice the team started to get annoyed by by now. Berry woke up with a start.

"What? What just happened?" She asked. She moved her elbow, which supported a grenade that was force activated. It started beeping when it hit the floor. She gasped and started running when it exploded, sending her flying. She landed on the wall, dazed. "Ow," she said simply, sliding down. Fluttershy groaned and healed her.

"You guys are getting hurt just by being around each other now," she muttered. Applejack looked up at Big Mac when he sat down ready to eat his sandvich.

"Checked your chain-gun?" She asked.

"Yup," Big Mac said, restarting on taking a bite.

"Did you check your ammo?" Applejack asked. Big Mac huffed.

"Yep," he answered. He waited a second for Applejack to ask him something before trying to take a bite of his sandvich.

"You remembered that you are going to eat that sanvich in case of an emergency?" Applejack asked. He almost growled.

"Yep," he said annoyed, tucking his sanvich into his pocket. Applejack finally got done with her goggles, and sat back. Derpy got her rocket launcher and sat beside Pinkie. Pinkie's wearing her special goggles like always, pouring the flamethrower ammo into the tank of her 'rainbow-thrower', as she calls it. Everyone has known Pinkie naming dangerous weapons weird names, she remembers that Pinkie named her shot gun 'the candy-cane' because it's 'sweet' and 'hard'.

"I'm reporting for duty, and ready to kick ass!" Derpy yelled, fist bumping the air.

"Five, four, three, two, one, get to the control points!" Yelled Celestia. Rainbow ran out of the mines, running at a very fast speed. Twilight set up shop with her rifle around the corner. Fluttershy stayed behind Big Mac as she kept healing him to fill up her ubercharger. Derpy ran, at a slow pace, but faster than Big Mac. She fired rocket, aiming at the point where their robotic counterparts are. Applejack set up a level one sentry right next to the exit. Big Mac glowed red as he yelled a battle cry, becoming invincible. He charged in, shooting his chain gun at everything that moved. A couple of Rain-bots blew up as a level two sentry blew up. The ubercharger, sadly went out and he was not the invincible giant as he felt. Luckily, the point turned red, belonging to their team. Derpy charged through a short path, yelling her battle cry as she blew up her enemies that came up. Rarity, however, has stuck a sapper on two sentries placed beside the exit, blowing them up when they ran out of health. Derpy blew two Big Bolts up, which were Big Mac counterparts. The last point was directly ahead of them. Derpy rocket jumped to the second level of the mini building between the passage she came out from and the point. She got her shovel and swung it across a Rarity counterpart that was invisible. It fell off, and broke it's head on landing. Derpy jumped onto the platform with her goal on it, and gave them all a loser sign when a Rarity counterpart back stabbed her, killing her instantly. Derpy respawned fifteen second later, thanks to magic. Pinkie, yelling and bursting flames onto anyone that got in her way, charged through the mini building, killing a couple Nut-jacks and dispensers. A few Rain-bolts were charging at her from behind, but Twilight headshot three of them quickly, and the other two were mowed down by Big Mac.

"Medic!" Yelled Rainbow, who's leg was shot by a sniper. Fluttershy ran over, and quickly healed her. Rainbow jumped up, grabbing her baseball bat with a Wonder bolts symbol on it. "He eh, HERE BATTER BATTER!!!" she yelled, running to a Twilight counterpart. The sniper tried to headshot, but kept missing just barely. Before it took a fifth shot, Rainbow slammed her bat against it's head, knocking it off its body. "SWING BATTER!!!" She yelled.

"Rainbow stop showing off and get to the point!" Yelled Applejack, fending off one side of the mini building as her level three sentry fended off the other.

"Alright, alright, jeez," Rainbow replied, rolling her eyes as she ran to the point. She double-jumped onto it, but kept moving around as a Big Bolt was trying to now her down with sprays of bullets. Rainbow taunted by dancing while dodging. "Can't touch this douche-bag!" She yelled, dancing. It seemed to hear her, because it put up its fists and charged. Rainbow side-stepped, letting the bull-like robot to crash into the wall. Derpy landed from the air, speeding up the capture. A ding was heard and the team cheered, killing off the remaining robots.

Meanwhile...

Celestia looked at all of her ponies, celebrating on a quick victory. She didn't like this. Berry barely did anything but hit a robot in the back of the head with her alcohol bottle, and then try to drink from it again, Fluttershy only helped by charging Big Mac, and healing Rainbow, Twilight only head shot seven robots, Pinkie missed where the action was because she was head shot by a different sniper, and Rarity only relaxed, watching others do the work. She sighed. Some parts of the team is either stupid, worthless, or both. She got a bright idea. Celestia smiled widely. "Luna, send a message to Sombra," she said. Luna nodded.

Two days later...

It's a new day in Coal Town, where the team got a new shipment of supplies, and by supplies, new awesome weapons! Rainbow got a Mad Milk, which doesn't seem too different to her. She shrugged looking at it and stuffed it in her pocket. Rainbow then got out a Sandman, which gave the baseball a weird feeling when Rainbow touched it. Derpy got out a buff banner, which she got on. She then got out an upgraded rocket launcher which had an engraving saying 'Rocket Specialist'. Pinkie got out am upgraded flamethrower with something called a back burner. She also got out a flare gun with apparently improved range. Berry Punch got out a new sticky bomb launcher with deadlier damage. She also got out a canteen marked 'Critical Hit Boost'. She was about to drink, but she was stopped by Twilight, who shot it out of her hands.

"Use it when necessary," said Twilight, shaking her head. Berry sighed and grabbed it, letting Big Mac get out his new weapons. He got out new looking rounds for his new chain gun. Applejack got out a couple of mini-sentries, along with a canteen like Berry's and a controller with a mini satellite on it. On the side, it was marked 'Wrangler'. Fluttershy had a lot, she got out new syringes and a medigun, with an extra button on it. Twilight got out a bow, and dangerously sharp arrows. She also had an upgraded sniper rifle and rounds. Finally, Rarity came up next, getting a new sapper, and knife.

"Yes yes, well what's next?" Rarity asks, bored half to death.

"There is a wave of robots coming, you must not let them get to you or that spot!" Celestia said over the intercom.

"Good luck," Luna said in the background. Everyone froze as what seems to be hundreds of robots coming in their direction.

"Alright, we can do this girls, and this time, all of us do this, I'm looking at you Rarity and Berry Punch," Twilight said, glaring at them. They nodded understanding. They charged, fearing for their lives as they went to fight their enemy.

Celestia sat back in her chair in the video room, watching all of them fight for their lives.

"I like this, this is better," Celestia said, smiling. Luna sighed sadly, watching the ponies fight.
