Everypony was settling down to rest, locking up their homes hoping that the Midnight Mare would keep them safe... The Queen would be giving her Kingdom one last gaze before resting, her daughters working to raise the stars and change the faze of the moon, before they tucked themselves in and went into the word of dreams... Yet, as the cold night air stilled, a dark fog crept through the streets, causing the rats on the roads to scatter, and a night black mare with turquoise eyes stepped out, "Sombra!" She called out, the dark fog forming to become her mane, flowing in the everstill night sky she had once commanded, only to have it ripped from her by the bearers. Soon after, a dark grey unicorn with a red horn and flame like black mane walked up to her, narrowing this eyes, "Nightmare Moon, what brings you to this place? Do you not prefer your Equestrian Lands? Are you so bored that you cross oceans just to find restless dreaming souls?" Nightmare Moon shook her head, "I've sensed a very special dreamer in this land, one that needed to have special attention of the true Ruler of the Night." Sombra grumbled, unhappy about the foreigner, " What's so special about this particular one?" "The fact that she has a story to tell. One that does not show in her bloodline's path." She explained, "Perhaps you would like to meet her." Sombra mutter a swear under his breath and nodded reluctantly, trotting along side the other dark spirit, until they reached the den of a siren. The cave was dark, dank, void of light. It would seem that the cave was desolate of life, if not for the song that was humming through it's walls. A siren's song, no doubt. Sombra had dealt with Sirens before, and if he had one word for them it would be difficult. "Why did you bring me to a Siren's lair?" He growled slightly, annoyed that he was brought to the cave of such a beast. "Come with me." She said in a cold voice, following the song into the cave. Sombra gave it a moment of thought, but soon followed the black alicorn mare. The two spirits walked into the cave until they reached the Siren's lair, where she was singing to a young pony, seeming to be her daughter. "An Alicorn Siren?" Sombra asked, making Nightmare Moon nod. "Correct. She's special, and I believe that she's the one." The Black Alicorn said, not taking her gaze off of the young filly siren. Sombra looked to the filly as well, a worried look on his face, "But just like us, she has her inner demons. Are you sure she'll be up for the task? What if she gives into her dark side like we did?" Nightmare Moon closed her eyes, "Only time will tell. However, I do believe she will be the one who tells the untold stories..." And the filly lifted her head just as she saw the two spirits leave the cave.
